16 Hours In Cathay Pacific’s Business Class | New York JFK – Hong Kong | Boeing 777-300ER | REVIEW
Hi guys, this flight review video is about my recent flight from New York JFK to Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific’s Boeing 777300ER in business class , this flight departed at 09:00 (NYC time) and arrived at 14:00 (HKG time). \r
This was the second time that I took CX841 this year, I also took it in April and that flight was far from good. Cold flight attendants who acted like they wanted to do as less as possible, bad food and the lack of a mattress pad also contributed..
However, this flight turned out to be one of my best business class flights ever…!
Everything on this flight was just good, the flight attendants, the food, the seat and amenities.
Cathay Pacific introduced the new mattress padding and new blanket back in October and also introduced slippers.
The only thing I didn’t like on this flight was the fact that the floor around my seat was soaken wet as the cart with the ice cubes was leaking on the previous flight.
However the FA’s put a plastic sheet and thick blankets on the floor so my feet didn’t get wet.
It will take a while for Cathay Pacific to be as good as they were before, but I have no doubt that they will be back on the top with airlines like Singapore Airlines, EVA and ANA if they keep this up!
The plane, the seat, the flight attendants and the food, I would rate it a solid 9.\r

As mentioned our China Airlines Economy Class Flight Review begins at our Gate at Taipei Airport (Taoyuan International Airport). In this Flight Report we will include the Boarding of our China Airlines Boeing 777 aircraft. As we board the aircraft you will see the Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy Class Cabins. Once our aircraft is in the air we show you the China Airlines Amenities which include headphones and an Amenity Kit, We also show you the seat area where we look at China Airlines Economy Class Legroom on a Boeing 777, the adjustable headrest, the USB Port on the seat for charging mobile phones etc. and of course also the Inflight Entertainment System (IFE). During this China Airlines Flight we were offered to hot Inflight Meals, and Inflight Dinner and an Inflight Breakfast as well as complimentary Inflight drinks and snacks throughout this flight from Taipei to Frankfurt. Other thins we will show you in this China Airlines Flight Review include a Tour of the Lavatory located at the back of the aircraft and a look at reading material such as the Inflight Magazine, the Safety Onboard Card, the WiFi onboard connection Instructions, the Duty Free Shopping Magazines and of course the Air Sickness Bag is also looked at.
We then begin our approach to Frankfurt Airport. This China Airlines Flight Review includes the Approach, Landing and Taxiing to the Gate at Frankfurt Airport. We very much enjoyed flying with China Airlines in Economy Class and can highly recommend China Airlines as an airline to fly with to fellow travellers. China Airlines Economy Class and Premium Economy Class were very good and we hope to try China Airlines Business Class in the future.
