รางวัลนี้เราได้รับเกียรติจาก Human Rights Foundation (มูลนิธิสิทธิมนุษยชน) ซึ่งมอบให้กับผู้กล้าหาญ มีความคิดสร้างสรรค์ในการคัดค้านความไม่ยุติธรรม

First of all, we thank the Human Rights Foundation for giving us this award, and thank you all.
Throughout the last 13 years, Thailand went through 2 coups, 4 major protests that ended with dead civilians. Many are jailed, some died in jail, some fled the country. Some refugee returned home with their dead body. Many are lost.
Not to mention other incidences that harm lives and properties of political activists, media and a lot of people. Call it Political Crisis, or Tragedy as you may, but we call it “State Crime”.
Nevertheless, these prolong incidences have shown us that there are a number of people who would never give in to the authority and fight on till now. Last year we formed RAD (Rap Against Dictatorship). Without those people who’ve kept on fighting, we’d never know if we would be here today. To all of you who fight for Democracy in Thailand, you’ve brought us this award.
We thank all involved in our work, especially the MV director, Mr.Teerawat Rujintham, .. Chevikboi – music composer. And our friend, Alex Face, who designed the meaningful cover for us. Our hearts go to you all.
Last year, Thailand’s GDP has the growth of 4%. It should mean we’ve had a better living under the military government, but when you walk on the street, you would hear people moan about their poverty. This means the wealth grows somewhere else. The riches grow richer and the poor get poorer. We can’t deny that this relates directly to the Junta who’s spending the public money, but with no link of power or accountability to its people.
It may sound ridiculous that in our luxurious today world, there are still many people who are hungry. The hunger relates directly to political authorities. When we starve for food, we indeed starve for power – the Power that should belong to all of us equally.
The Thai people expressed their hunger through the general election under the crooked rules. Despite obstacles from the effort to extend the regime, we’ve finally got a fragile parliament. Today we believe the fight is not ending. People who are in hunger for justice and for the power to govern themselves have shouted loud and clear.
To the Dictator, sorry, we are hungry.

จากกรณีที่ 13 ชีวิตทีมหมูป่า อะคาเดมี่ ได้ติดอยู่ในถ้ำหลวงขุนน้ำนางนอน เมื่อเดือนมิถุนายนที่ผ่านมา ท่ามกลางการเข้าช่วยเหลือของคนทั่วโลก และทุกคนช่วยกันลุ้นให้กำลังใจทั้งเจ้าหน้าที่และทีมหมูป่า จนทุกคนได้รอดออกมาจากถ้ำหลวงอย่างปลอดภัย และได้เข้ารักษาตัวที่โรงพยาบาล ก่อนจะเข้าพิธีอุปสมบท ล่าสุดจะได้เดินทางไปต่างแดน เข้าร่วมงานกีฬาโอลิมปิกเยาวชนฤดูร้อน 2018 ที่ประเทศอาร์เจนตินา ตามคำเชิญของประธานโอลิมปิก
นอกจากนี้นายณรงค์ศักดิ์ โอสถธนากร ผู้ว่าฯ พะเยา ก็ได้เดินทางไปรับรางวัลผู้นำการเปลี่ยนแปลงแห่งเอเชียด้วย
โดยทางเฟสบุ๊ค คาเธ่ย์ หมี ได้โพสต์ภาพนาทีประทับใจที่ผู้ว่าฯ พะเยา โค้ชเอกและน้องอดุลย์ ได้ขึ้นรับรางวัล โดยระบุข้อความว่า
