Comparing both Kassandra and Alexios as Deimos, the latter makes for a much more intimidating and terrifying Deimos. Chapter : The Cultist King
: The Cultist King Recommended Level: 38
Sail to the Island of Pylos and speak to the officer on the beach. He will be a bit reluctant. No matter what is said in this conversation, it doesn’t really matter. Once that conversation ends, the conquest battle for Pylos will begin.
Just like in The Final Push and The Conqueror, kill the enemy captains as they are tagged to keep knocking down the enemy’s status bar at the top of the screen.
Useful tips: Combat relies on three things: Gear, Abilities, and your own personal skill
Make sure you’re a high enough level to take on the enemies that you’re up against–adjust difficulty if needed
Every weapon has different attack patterns and reach
Poison and Fire build up with each strike, so it makes sense that fast hitting weapons like daggers are the best weapons to apply the effect
When you’ve successfully parried an attack, follow it up with a Heavy Attack to knock the enemy back for good crowd control, or with a Light Attack to start a single-target combo if you’re not afraid of being overwhelmed by multiple enemies
The Spartan Kick ability will not be useful in conquest battles as there are no ledges to kick enemies off of
When the enemy’s bar is about halfway down, the screen will fade to black and a cutscene will play. Deimos comes through, demolishing the battlefield. No matter what, they must be fought in this battle.
Deimos has a number of area attacks. After these attacks are done, swoop in for a close-quarters ability attack such as hero strike. There is another medium range attack that can be dodged, but there is no warning for it. Deimos sends out a sort of light blast from their sword. Continue to dodge Deimos’s attacks as much as possible.

Once Deimos’s health is down about a quarter, the screen will fade again for a cutscene to play. Deimos will confront the player. A tree will fall on them; make a choice.
Achievements Legend in the Making – this is awarded while playing through the story.
After this, the player will wake up in prison in Athens. Deimos will confront the player again. Try to convince them they are being used by telling them the truth.
“We didn’t abandon you.”
“Our mother searched for you.”
“She thought you were dead.”
“I was thrown off, too.”
Kleon will interrupt the conversation and Deimos will defend themselves and exit. Kleon will then confront the player.
No matter what is chosen in the conversation, it does not matter, he will send in some guards to kill the player. The mission will end as the guards are being fought. This is an unarmed battle and abilities cannot be used.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Chapter 9 Walkthrough – Homecoming
Our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Chapter 9 Walkthrough Guide will help you complete all the main missions associated with the game’s eighth chapter including Homecoming. We have detailed a complete walkthrough of everything you need to do: important choices, enemy encounters, and more.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Chapter 9 Walkthrough
You must now head back to the place where everything began and must end. You will meet Deimos and ultimately decide their fate: whether they must live or die.
However, do note that we have not talked about collectibles, weapons, armor, and other details. You can always refer to our individual guides for more information on those.
Homecoming
You will meet your mother at the Chasm of Tagetos and must escort her to the Mount Taygetos to finally end what began many years ago. You must face off Deimos.
Head for Chasm of Tagetos
Fast-travel to Sparta and find Myrrine in the Chasm of Taygetos, on a mountain road waiting for you. Talk to her.
Conversation with Myrrine
Myrrine says she misses you. You tell her that Deimos killed Brasidas in battle. She will ask for Deimos’ state. You will tell her how Kleon shot Deimos in the back and how you took care of Kleon. You tell her that you need to head to the legendary Mount Taygetos: where it all began. She agrees to go with you.
Escort Myrrine
You must escort your mother to the cliff where it all began. Where both you and your sibling was sacrificed. When you reach the cliff’s edge, you will find Deimos waiting for you.
Conversation with Deimos
Do note that if you still want the happy ending, you must choose the options: “The cult is using you” and “I don’t want to fight you”. If Deimos reaches for the Spear of Leonidas, you have the happy ending. If he does not, well, you do not.
Deimos will attack your mother while your mother begs you to listen. Myrrine will try to convince Deimos to leave the cult. You will help her.
Depending on your choices, you may have either to fight Deimos to the death over your mother’s dead body or have a family hug between the three of you.
The quest will ultimately end here and you will receive the items: ‘Demigod’s Chestplate’, ‘Demigod’s boots’, ‘Sword of Damokles’, ‘Demigod’s belt’ and ‘Demigod’s bracers’. You will unlock a cultist clue.
The story of Kassandra and Alexios has finally ended! How beautiful (or ugly) the ending! That does not mean that you cannot resume. There is still another quest ‘Dinner in Sparta’ to complete.

Chapter : Homecoming
: Homecoming Recommended Level: 42
Return to Lakonia. Meet with Myrrine at Mt. Taygetos. She will be in an unmarked location in the middle of a path. Catch up with her briefly and escort her to the mountain’s edge.
Deimos will be at the edge. This is the last chance to kill or save Deimos. To save Deimos, choose the following in the conversation:
“The Cult is using you.”
“I don’t want to fight you.”
A small scene between Deimos and the player’s character will play, and Deimos will return home to the family unless, of course, he’s killed. The mission will come to an end after this scene.
