These cave paintings are huge and sophisticated projects executed by artists and supported by an impressive culture — the Magdalenians.

Art Explorations: Kids Art Classes/Lessons! is a free online art education program for children ranging in age from six to ten years old. Each week your personal art instructor, Miss Jaime, will go stepbystep through a variety of different art projects. Your child will begin to learn the fundamentals of drawing, painting, and color theory, all while building confidence in their art skills in the process.
Each lesson is presented in two parts. 1️⃣ The first portion is the core lesson, which is ideal for younger students. They will learn an entire art project, start to finish. For older students, or those wanting an extra challenge, 2️⃣ the second portion of the video takes your child’s art project even further, going over details and teaching more advanced techniques with tools such as acrylic paint and soft pastel!
\rThere are a total of sixteen lessons for the Spring semester. A list of materials for what you will need for the semester is provided via two teacher’s carts available on jerrysartarama.com. One cart is composed of the materials for the core lesson, while the second cart combines the materials from the core cart to also include the advanced materials. Grab your kit at Jerry’s Artarama and join us as we start your child out on their very own exploration through the arts!

15 Most AMAZING Cave Paintings

This is one of the most unique examples of cave paintings, and these hands were found in Santa Cruz in Argentina. There are other drawings in the cave, of animals and people – but it’s the hands that make it stand out. The majority of the hands are the left hands, which leads researchers to believe they used a spraying pipe of some sort, which they held in their right hand whilst doing it. The paintings are between 3 and 9 thousand years old.
