Hey Guys, This is The Allnew Suzuki Across 2021 Compact SUV! It’s Based on The New 2021 Toyota RAV4.
The new Across SUV has been recently introduced by Suzuki as a part of Suzuki and Toyota global business agreement. No wonder, therefore, that this SUV looks very familiar. It is basically a Toyota RAV4 with a new face. It has gone on sale in the UK and it will be on sale soon in other parts of the world. However, it is still too early to predict whether the Across will be as successful as its twin, the Toyota RAV4.
The Across looks almost the same as the Toyota RAV4. This makes sense because it is the rebadged version of the RAV4. The Across is the new plugin hybrid SUV from Suzuki which is built based on Toyota’s popular and rugged RAV4. It is a kind of large SUV offering five seats. The competitors include Mazda CX5, Honda CRV, and Skoda Karoq.
Talking about the Across, it is impossible not to discuss the RAV4 as these two SUVs have many things in common. The most noticeable difference between the two cars is the front body. They have different grille, headlights, and bumper. These differences are made to help set the Suzuki apart. The rest of the exterior is the same including the alloywheel designs. Similar to the RAV4, the Across also offers six body colors and LED headlights.
The similarities are also found inside the car. Suzuki uses Toyota’s infotainment system with a 9inch screen display featuring Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. Meanwhile, the dashboard and steering wheel are all the same. As a pioneering collaboration between Suzuki and Toyota, it is really interesting to get to know further about the SUV.
Basically, fanciness rarely becomes the main focus of the carmaker. Instead of adding some fanciness to the interior, Suzuki prefer to make the interior more practical and durable. Practicality and durability are indeed two things that are emphasized by Suzuki. Overall, the interior of the two cars is similar except the center console design and the steering wheel.
While many things are identical, the Across is leading in terms of safety and driverassistance technology. There are some safety features that are absent in Toyota RAV4 such as trafficsign recognition, Autonomous emergency braking, and an automatic brake hold system.
At the moment, the Across is being put on sale in Europe in a single highspec tri level along with standard equipment incorporating dualzone automatic AC, leather seats, FWD, and a powered tailgate. This model is available in 6 different fancy colors such as Sensual Red Mica, Dark Blue Mica, Attitude Black Mica, Grey Metallic, Silver Metallic, and White Pearl Crystal Shine. Every option has its own characteristic.
The beautiful and distinct exterior colors obviously grabs people attention. However, the wonderful paint color is not the only thing that makes the Across stand out among the crowds. The clever tech is the other thing that becomes the power of the Suzuki.
Many people cannot wait for the official release of the Across. Unfortunately, Suzuki has not announced when precisely the Across is going to be released in particular countries. Therefore, the price is some countries are still not known. The easiest thing to estimate the price is to compare with its rivals. It’s likely that it will cost almost the same as the Toyota RAV4 but a bit pricier than Mazda CX5. It is because the existing CX5 is not equipped with any electrified options.
The new Suzuki SUV was planned to be released in this autumn but the season will be over in a week and there haven’t been any signs about its launching date in particular areas.
The cost in the UK starts from £45,599 as confirmed by Suzuki. The supplies will be more widelyavailable after its first full year on sale.
