Using the Media Creation Tool *GUIDE* in English
Here’s a step by step guide to using the Media Creation Tool so you can create a bootable Windows 10 Setup USB stick.
Note that the USB stick required needs to be 8GB or larger and the data that might be on it will get totally erased.
I did skip the part where it actually makes the drive that took about 18 minutes so I cut it.
Otherwise the entire process is in real time.
The sound may drop out now and then where I cut dog barks and other noises…
Further to the information about what to press if your computer doesn’t decide to boot from the USB drive, here’s a quick list of what to press to select the boot device….
Lenovo F12
HP F9
DELL F12
ACER F12
ASUS ESC or F8
It’s not complete, obviously, and it’s to illustrate that you shouldn’t assume your new Windows Setup media is faulty if setup doesn’t automatically start when you turn on your computer.
Your Windows Setup USB stick will be made correctly if you follow this guide and you might need to select it as a boot device deliberately.
