If there’s one thing I learned about tailormade English courses is the fact that creating a personalized lesson plan according to your students’ academic needs and interests is a great way to make them learn and love the English language.
After identifying their English level, it’s up to you as a teacher to create your very own lesson plan which is a worksheet with exercises meant to improve the language skills of your students. A complete lesson plan must cover the full spectrum: reading, listening, comprehension, vocabulary, writing, speaking and grammar. The percentage of each should depend on the academic needs of your students and what they wish to focus on.
In today’s video we’ll have a look at a lesson plan I created and how I deliver it in the classroom.
