How to Connect Digital to Analog Audio Converter Optical Toslink to TV

Most of the new Samsung TVs \u0026 from other Manufactures are shipped with no on board analog 3.5mm AUX output as they are following Apple’s trend to abolish the 3.5mm AUX .
In this detail video I have demonstrated step by step how to connect a DAC ( Digital to analog audio converter ) via toslink optical output from Samsung KU7000 or KU6400 \u0026 then feed the converted signal to your audio system for sound reinforcement. The DAC device ( Model DK201) I have used has got Cirrus Logic chip which supports sample rate of up to 192kHz \u0026 24bit depth of Two Linear PCM channels. This setup is necessary if you have connected multiple sources to this TV via HDMI ports \u0026 want the audio to be output from your sound system.
Samsung has a hardware design flaw with this unit . The HDMI ARC is supported only on HDMI port 3 which does not support UHD color at full bandwidth. HDMI port 1 is the only port that supports full bandwidth 10bit HDR UHD 4K video @60Hz. So if you have connected all your 4K UHD HDR devices( Xbox one S , PS4 pro , Cable TV HDR 4K) to your AVR ( Audio Video Receiver Amplifier) which supports ARC \u0026 4k UDH 10bit HDR@60Hz \u0026 is connected to the TV via HDMI port 1. Now let’s say you would like to play a video from USB flash drive connected to Samsung TV or you would like to play broadcast TV from built in digital tuner or antenna then this TV would not send the audio to the AVR as the HDMI port 1 is not ARC ( Audio return channel).
So in order to overcome this issue you have to connect a toslink optical output to your AVR from Samsung TV which only supports 2 Linear PCM channels @96kHz/24bit depth but then from your Samsung TV you have to select optical audio output \u0026 from your AVR you have to change the audio source to optical which is unnecessary work around.

🔊Unbalanced เป็นสายสัญญาณที่ใช้ทั้งหมดสองขั้วเท่านั้นคือ ขั้วบวกและขั้วดิน ความแรงของสัญญาณ Unbalanced จะอยู่ที่ 10dBv สายสัญญาณประเภท Unbalanced ไม่เหมาะกับงานที่ต้องเดินสายยาวๆที่เกิน 34 เมตร เพราะถ้ายิ่งสายยาวค่าความต้านทาน (Impedance) ก็จะสูงขึ้น ทำให้สูญเสียสัญญาณ

🔊Balanced ใช้สายสัญญาณทั้งหมดถึงสามขั้วด้วยกัน ได้แก่ ขั้วบวก ขั้วลบ และขั้วดิน ความแรงของสัญญาณจะอยู่ที่ +4dBv เป็นผลทำให้ ได้กระแสสัญญาณในการเดินทางที่เพิ่มขึ้น ส่งผลให้เราใช้สายสัญญาณในระยะทางที่เพิ่มขึ้นได้ โดยลดการสูญเสียสัญญาณที่มาจากความต้านทาน (Impedance) ที่อยู่ในสายสัญญาณลงไปได้มาก คุณภาพเสียงที่ดีขึ้น เสียง noise ตํ่าลง มีมิติชัดเจน ย่านความถี่สมบูรณ์มากขึ้น
