How should you prepare yourself for the admission test?

Day 1: Collect all the required books, you can find the list here- Books to consult. Identify your strong and weak points and decide how much emphasis you want to put for each area. Assess how many days you have to prepare yourself for the exam. Make a study schedule. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. You do not need to study for 10-12 hours for IBA admission test. Rather you have to be strategic so that you can make the best use of time. Make sure your brain gets enough time to relax every day. A dedicated 4 hours of study period is good enough to make it to IBA.
Dedicate at least 2 days for each of the math topics. Reserve 6 to 8 days for geometry depending on your need.
That makes it 40 days.
Each day practice the following sets:
Sentence completion- 5 (Ref: GRE big book, Mentor’s or Saifurs guide) Sentence correction -5 (Ref: GMAT, Mentor’s or Saifurs guide) Error detection- 5 (Ref: GMAT, Mentor’s or Saifurs guide) Analogy -5 (Ref: GRE big book) Puzzles -2 (Ref: GRE big book) Critical Reasoning -5(Ref: GMAT) Data sufficiency -5(Ref: GMAT) Grammar rules -2 (Ref: TOEFL) New words- 5 from SAT wordlist, add 10 new words in your wordlist. (See our blog to know the effective ways of learning words-Vocabulary- Relate with the Words) Practice one comprehension and one creative writing on every alternative day.
Give yourself a break in every 6 days, review the new words you have learnt, revise the math topics you have covered. This way you will need 46 days for a good preparation. Practice random questions from past year questions. But do not practice any problem related to topics you have not learnt yet, also do not start solving full question papers at least for the first one month. Because failing to solve them will make you nervous and lessen your confidence.
Start practicing question papers after 30 days. First one each day on every alternative day (continue this for 8 days) and after you have completed your scheduled preparation, practice 2 each day. You will need 16 days in total to practice all the BBA questions of IBA. If you have time you can also practice MBA questions because question pattern is the same (MBA candidates can do vice versa).
Besides practicing past questions start giving mock tests from renowned guides at home (also you can attend model tests held by coaching centers).
Before practicing past and mock question papers print some demo OMR sheets to practice filling up the circles. Always keep track of time and give yourself less time than the real exams.

BS-Mathematics applicants must possess a mathematics background at the high school level.
Applicants must have completed:
Higher secondary school certificate (Pre-engineering
or
General group with mathematics) with minimum 60% marks
or
‘A’ levels (minimum of 1 ‘B’ and 2 ‘C’s)
in 3 principal subjects including Mathematics
or
American high school diploma minimum of 80%
or
An international baccalaureate (minimum 24/45)
All other degree holders must provide an equivalency certificate from IBCC.

Admissions
Admission will be offered to all those who qualify following a strict merit-based admission criteria irrespective of their race, religion, gender, ethnicity or socio-economic background. There are no reserved / quota seats for any category at IBA. No effort will be made to fill all available seats or lower the criteria if an insufficient number of candidates apply or an individual candidate fails to satisfy the above criteria.
The cut-off for individual programs in the Aptitude Test will be decided by the Admissions Committee using rigorous methods based on statistical analysis.
There will be one Aptitude Test for admission to both campuses of IBA. Candidates may choose their specializations after a minimum of 2 years of study at IBA for undergraduate and 1 year for graduate programs.
There is no distinction in the fee structure between the Main and City Campuses.
