After a short break, I’m back! I’ve misses you all and I’ve missed making videos on English life, simple living and slow living for this English Lifestyle vlog.
I’ve noticed that Cottagecore is becoming really popular, where people are losing themselves in, and embraces a simpler, sustainable existence deep rooted in traditional English countryside style. Well if this is you, then you’ve come to the right place. Our actual traditional English life seems to be a major draw to this genre of interest! I guess I’ve always lived a real cottagecore life, so of course, I’m naturally a fan 🙂
This video we went fruit picking and my girls alway enjoy running around looking for the largest raspberry or strawberry.
We then used the fruit in a delicious flapjack recipe country baking at its yummiest! I hope you enjoy our cozy cottage kitchen and our traditional English baking. I hope it might inspire you to seek out and enjoy your own quiet peaceful life.
Recipe: Raspberry Honey Flapjack
150g butter
150g light brown soft sugar
4 tbsp honey (we used heather honey)
300g porridge oats
100g frozen raspberries
200C/180C fan/gas 6 (25 to 30 mins)

Located close to dream destinations including Clayton, Clarkesville, Tallulah Falls, and Helen, GA. And just a short drive to Blueridge, Blairsville, and Hiawasee, GA as well as Highlands and Asheville, NC. Hiking trails, waterfalls, boating, fishing, ziplining, tubing, horseback riding, award winning restaurants, shopping and much more are nearby. Wedding venues including Glen Ella Springs and Lake Rabun Hotel are only a few miles away.
