Tsutenkaku Tower (known as the eiffel tower of osaka, dito mo mamemeet si biliken for good luck)

Osaka has historically been a major component to the development of Japan as a nation. It was the center of the rice trade during the Edo Period earning it its nickname — “The Countries Kitchen”.

Osaka Amazing Pass is a great deal that I used when I traveled to Japan in September 2016.
This Pass gives a really good opportunity to travelers who wants to enjoy more than 30 different facilities, museums, spa or attraction for 2 days ! On the top of that, you can also use the pass for your transportation using Subways, Buses & Trains !
I really enjoyed my time in Osaka, and when you are traveling on your budget, I think this is the perfect deal !

1 Day Pass: 2,300 Yen (around 23 €)
2 Day Pass: 3,000 Yen (around 30€)

Little Tips: I recommend you to buy the pass directly at the airport, even if you don’t use it the same day, at least, you are ready to use it anytime you want, and you don’t have to run in the city to find the good place to buy it. It’s worth to loose few minutes in the airport at your arrival and buying it directly.

Day 3 🇯🇵 FULL DAY WITH OSAKA AMAZING PASS!

Welcome back to episode 6 of the Japan Series! Hope you’ve been enjoying the series so far 🙂

[Day 3] Review of the Osaka AmazingPass bought on Klook!
1 Day Pass (pick up at Osaka KIX airport) = S$34
Our Itinerary: (please take note that we went on a weekend!)
Stop 1: Osaka Castle (We decided to go to this place first because it’ll be nicer when you take photos in the day time)
Stop 2: Umeda Sky Building (it only allows Osaka Amazing Pass holders to visit till 6pm)
Stop 3: Tennoji Zoo (Please make sure you plan your route as some are not places are not close to each other although they are still in the same ‘vicinity’
Stop 4: Tsutenkaku Tower (This is close to the Tennoji Zoo, so I’d recommend this ‘route’ and you can only enter this tower at 6pm)
Stop 5: Hep 5 Ferris wheel (I think there were only 2 Ferris wheel which you can visit for free with the Amazing Pass…but if I remembered properly, the other Ferris wheel was a bit too far and closed)

Feedback:
It’s a great pass to let you visit a lot of attractions in Osaka
Saves you $ money especially if you travel in/out of the stations in Osaka (tap in and out)
I’d recommend 1 day because the other attractions doesn’t sound attractive to me (but this is my own personal opinion)
Plan your routes and day properly!! You can’t afford to ‘play by ear’ with this pass as it’s immediately activated once you use it anywhere…
