Mad Android Gamer: Inotia 4: Assassin of Berkel
I came across this free game, Inotia 4: Assasin of Berkel, on Google Play and didn’t try it because I already checked the graphics during Inotia 2 and wasn’t really impressed since I was used to Zenonia 4’s graphics environment . I got bored once and decided to give it a try once and for all just to kill time. Before I knew it I was hooked. I’ve been playing Inotia 4 for quite a while now and honestly I’m still not satisfied with the graphics, but the story is very interesting and the gameplay is much better than Zenonia. As a dedicated gamer that I am, I decided to create this blog for the newbies who want to farm good items or just earn more in-game gold without having to hack the game. Trust me, buying rare items from the rare item merchant will help in your future quest. I first played the game as Black Knight as I’ve always liked characters with high defense and bulky armor and weapons, but the character’s attack speed is slow, so it’s also slower at killing monsters. So I decided to create a new character as an assassin who had faster attack speed and faster monster killing skills. I personally like these combo skills: Twin Blade (passive) + Whist + Assassin’s Sword = Higher % one hit kill for common monsters. I haven’t really tried the other classes, so I might sound biased 🙂 If you decide to farm, just make sure you have enough bags in your inventory. This saves you time instead of going back and forth to a village and selling your loot to a merchant just because your inventory is full. Your inventory can be expanded up to 5 bags, each one can hold up to 16 slots I think. The first bag has 16 slots by default. The rest must be bought from the item dealer. There you can buy bags with 4, 8 and 12 compartments. I don’t really know where to buy a bag of 16 slots because I’ve never had a single one in my entire game. Maybe it’s a premium purchase. Anyway, I suggest you get the 12 slot bag right away, which costs around 33 silver coins. It’s hard to make the cash, but once you’ve got your first bag of 12 slots, saving up loot will be easier. 🙂 It’s also a good idea to keep lamp items (looks like a genie lamp) when looking for loot. Once you have your inventory full, simply use the lamp to summon a “Lamp Merchant”. It’s helpful as it can be summoned anywhere on the map instead of going back to a town vendor. You can then sell your loot to the Lamp Trader until you have enough space in your inventory to replenish with more loot. The Lamp Vendor also sells the same items as a normal item vendor, such as potions, weapon and armor refinement scrolls, random gear, but note that the item prices are twice as high compared to a normal item vendor. In addition, the lamp can only be used once. Once you exit the map, the Lamp Merchant will also disappear, even if you return to the same map it was summoned on, so use it wisely!Based on my experience with this game, there is the Improved Treasure Chest (ITC) and the “Legendary Sword” (LS), in which you can respawn over and over again by going back and forth in the map entry. Technically it’s not really a cheat because you only get what the game itself has provided you with. The “Improved Treasure Chest” can contain a few pieces of loot or weapons or armor with good stat distribution. You can also get a cheap item, but you can still sell it for gold. Below is a map where you can repeatedly spawn the ITC. I don’t know if there’s another one anywhere in the game, but that’s the only map I know of. Sorry I forgot the map name :pAs you can see the chest is near a map entry. Just go near the chest and open it and grab the loot. Go back to the same entry you came from and then back into this map. Just keep going like this until another ITC appears, loot the chest and repeat the process until you’ve had enough and decided to continue the game. Easy right? By the way, watch out for the mini boss near the chest. It’s not that hard, so you can grind right away 🙂 Another source of good weapons is the “Legendary Sword” (LS). It looks like a white sword stuck on a ground randomly found on some maps throughout the game. You can get all kinds of weapons from it; from the dagger to the crossbow. I’ve encountered this four times on different maps while playing as the Black Knight and managed to get two rare weapons with good stats on two different occasions and the other two got nothing. It’s rare to find one on a map, and there’s a very small chance of getting a rare weapon from it. When I was playing as Assassin, I found a map where you can just recreate it, just like the ITC mentioned above. You can check this map below. Again, I could not determine the name of the card. The only thing I can remember is that this was after chasing a bandit quest around town. Sorry :p As you can see the LS sword is in the middle bottom part of the map. The skill slot can overlap with this, making it quite difficult to spot the sword, but you can still see it as a small white speck on the mini-map. The map entry is on the left and that is the entry you will use to go back and forth to respawn the LS. There are no monsters on this map, so you don’t need to worry. This is where you’ll need a bit more patience as it seems the sword is hard to respawn. The chances of getting a rare weapon from the LS are pretty slim. Most of the time you’ll get a “Not Enough Skill” message when you draw the sword. This means you won’t succeed and you’ll have to spawn it again if you want to try again. I did this and was able to recreate it about 20 times on this map when playing as Assassin. Guess what I got? Nothing. Yes. None at all. Later in the game I saw it again and spawned it and was able to get some good weapons. The chances of getting a weapon also depend on a Black Knight (BK) mercenary ability “Chosen Hero”. If you have a BK Mercenary, make sure they have this Mercenary Skill, which increases the chances of getting a weapon from LS. It has 3% additional chances of getting an item from the LS. If your BK doesn’t have this Mercenary Skill, you should consider replacing it with another BK that does. Even if you don’t actually use your BK Mercenary, as long as you have one in your party, the Mercenary ability will have an effect. Well, that’s it for now.
