What is lululemon’s return policy?
lululemon’s returns policy allows buyers to return full price products within 30 days for a refund using the original form of payment. The item must be in new and original condition.
The rip tag and product tag must be attached in order to receive a refund.
There are certain items that are considered final sale, even at full price. These non-refundable items include:

How do lululemon returns work?

All sale items, often referred to as “We Made Too Much” or WMTM, are FINAL SALE.
WMTM items cannot be exchanged or returned. Sale items are identified with a purple sticker on the label and the price ends with a number 9 (see image below).

Under Australian Consumer Law, defective products entitle a customer to a refund or exchange.

Lululemon will introduce a trade-in and resell option for its gently used leggings, tops and jackets later this month, following a successful pilot program triggered by rising consumer prices and a commitment to sustainable sourcing.
The launch of Lululemon’s “Like New” program comes after the retailer piloted its so-called re-commerce platform for customers in Texas and California, which launched last May.
Under Like New — operated by resale technology provider Trove — customers can trade in their previously worn Lululemon items for a gift card at any of the retailer’s US stores. You can also buy from a selection of used items on a separate page on the dealer’s website. More articles will be added every day.
Maureen Erickson, senior vice president of global guest innovation at Lululemon, said the foray into reselling the premium brand in the sportswear sector will help attract shoppers looking for bargains.
“The guest who buys from Like New is really younger and a value-oriented shopper,” Erickson said in a phone interview.
The nationwide debut comes as consumers see higher prices for everything from petrol to milk to bread – and some of their favorite subscription plans, including Amazon Prime. Lululemon said last month it plans selective price increases to offset some of the strains it’s facing, particularly along its supply chain.
If inflation continues, it could make more Americans seek discounts and feel more comfortable shopping for second-hand clothes.
Shoppers have already warmed to the idea of buying used clothing and other items, analyst estimates show. In 2015, the resale market was approximately $1 billion based on tracking by Jefferies. This market was valued at $15 billion in 2021 and is projected to more than triple to $47 billion by 2025.
Erickson added that a number of third-party resale sites, including ThredUp and Poshmark, are already popping up with gently used Lululemon merchandise.
By launching its own resale platform in-house, Lululemon is trying to increase those sales and encourage repeat customers. And buying second-hand goods from the original retailer, Erickson said, gives customers confidence in the quality and authenticity of the products.
“We’ve been able to move [buyers] into our ecosystem,” Erickson said. “It allows us to stay vertical, which is the nature of our business…where we own the relationship with the guests.”
Lululemon’s Like New website is listing a pre-owned All Yours women’s cropped hoodie for $49 ahead of its official launch date, compared to $108 new. A pre-owned pair of women’s Strides Ahead high-rise shorts is $39, down from $68. And the popular ABC men’s slim-fit pants retail for $65-$75 compared to $128.
The company said it would not accept and resell certain items, such as bras and underwear.
And while the second-hand merchandise will initially only be sold online and not in Lululemon’s stores, Erickson didn’t rule out the possibility of a brick-and-mortar test by an in-store resale department.
Like New is also seen as a commitment to the environment, as the retailer hopes to avoid visiting the country’s landfills for some of its goods. The company is working toward several sustainability goals it set out last fall, including making 100% of its products from sustainable materials and end-of-use solutions by 2030.
“Every brand is trying to figure out how it should be, how we can all live into a more sustainable future. It’s going nowhere,” Erickson said. “And it’s a global priority for us.”
Younger shoppers are increasingly driving a trend toward sustainable shopping, visiting thrift stores and reinventing clothing to reduce consumption. To that end, big-box retailer Target last week confirmed a partnership with ThredUp to offer used items for resale as part of its sustainability initiatives.
Lululemon is already seen as right by Gen Z consumers. The brand just moved up one spot in Piper Sandler’s biannual survey, Taking Stock with Teens, on the list of the top 10 favorite clothing brands for teens.
In the same survey, which took place from February 16 to March 22, 61% of teenagers, both women and men, said they bought second-hand clothes this spring, and 56% said they bought their clothes recently sold on second-hand marketplaces.
Andy Ruben, Trove Founder and CEO, calls this year a “watershed moment” for re-commerce.
“Getting more quality for less money has always been in fashion,” Ruben said in an interview. “And then these things like [higher] gas prices and supply chain disruptions … all of this favors the supply that’s already in our closets — to make better use of those items.”

Founded in 1998 by Chip Wilson in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Lululemon opened its first standalone store in November 2000.[3][4] Wilson designed the name to include a lot of Ls to make it sound western to Japanese buyers who often have trouble pronouncing the letter. He later commented that he “found it funny to watch [Japanese speakers] try to say it”.[5]

In 2013, some customers complained that the clothing was of poor quality, with some items being “too see-through”, having holes and falling apart after a few uses.[28][29] In December 2010, Lululemon recalled some of the store’s reusable bags, which were made of polypropylene, following reports of high levels of lead.[30] In 2013, Lululemon recalled its black yoga pants that were unintentionally transparent and “too skinny”;[31][32] the recall, which accounted for approximately 17 percent of all women’s pants sold in its stores, impacted its financial results.[33] ] ] The resulting financial loss and damage to the brand led to the forced departure of the company’s Chief Product Officer, Sheree Waterson,[34][6] and its CEO, Christine Day.[6][35]

Founder Chip Wilson has made numerous controversial statements. In a 2004 interview, Wilson mocked the Japanese pronunciation of the company’s name.[36] In 2013, he said the company doesn’t make plus-size clothing for women because it’s too expensive.[37] To explain the excessive pilling in the brand’s clothing, he accused some customers of wearing Lululemon’s clothes improperly or having body shapes that didn’t match his clothes.[38] In an interview for Bloomberg TV in 2013, he stated that some women’s bodies were unsuitable for the brand’s clothing.[38] Die Zeit called the statements “fat disgrace”.[39]

What if I lost my receipt?
If you’ve misplaced your receipt, you should still be able to make a return… in most cases.
In particular, if you gave them your phone number when paying at the STORE, they can view your transaction history.
I asked a Lululemon live chat rep what happens if you don’t give the rep your phone number…can you still make a return without a receipt?
I was told that it is “at the discretion of the store whether they are willing to return for credit. Every time you have bought something in the store, you will be asked for your phone number. This would lead to your profile.”

What is a Fast Track return?
A Fast Track return occurs when you receive credit within 2 hours of dropping off your return at a FedEx or USPS location.
Only returns of 3 or fewer items will be eligible, and you will receive a refund via a Lululemon e-gift card to your email inbox.
The E-Gift Card is the ONLY return option available with Fast Track and it can be used in store or online and NEVER expires.

If the automatic payment fails, Klarna will try again after 7 days. If this payment also fails, Klarna will make another attempt after a further 7 days (14 days after the date of the first attempt).
Failure to pay on time may result in your debt being passed on to a collection agency and affect Klarna’s future credit decisions.
What happens if I don’t pay for my order?
Klarna will automatically attempt to collect payment for your Pay later in 3 interest free installment purchase at lululemon from the debit or credit card you provided at checkout. If we are unable to collect your payment by the scheduled due date, Klarna will make two more attempts to automatically collect payment, one 7 days after missed payment and one 14 days after missed payment. If this last attempt at payment fails, Klarna will issue you with a statement of the total outstanding order amount, which is due 15 days later. How can I redeem my gift card?

Will Brexit impact my order?
Our Distribution Centre is located in the Netherlands. As the Brexit transition agreement between the UK and EU ends on 31 December 2020, there may be increased transit times between the EU and the UK from 1 January 2021, so please allow additional time for your order to arrive. We are working hard with UPS to minimise any delays and you will be able to follow your delivery via the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email.
If you return an item to us, this will still be processed within the advertised timeframe at our UK based returns centre.
How long will it take for my order to be delivered to the UK?
Once you have placed your order online, please allow 1-2 business days for us to process and send it from our distribution centre in the Netherlands before you track your order.
It then normally takes an average of 3-4 business days for deliveries to reach UK addresses, from the moment they leave our warehouse in the Netherlands. However, throughout January and February 2021 please allow more time as it may take longer for our courier partner to take care of any new customs documentation requirements.

Do I need an account to place an order online?
You do not need to have an account to place an order. The benefit of creating an account, however, is that you can securely store your addresses, payment options, wish lists for faster checkouts in the future, and view your order history.
How do I know if my order is being processed?
Your credit card will be pre-authorized when your order is placed, but we do not process payment until the order is ready to ship. Once your order has shipped, you will be billed and receive a shipping confirmation email.

Is ordering from lululemon online safe?
Yes. We have taken several steps to ensure that all information we receive from our customers online is secure.
Can I get an invoice for my order?
Yes; To download your invoice, please log into your account, select your order and select “View Proof of Purchase”. If you checked out as a guest, please use the Review Order form. Enter your order number and the associated email address and select “Show proof of purchase”. Remember that you will not be able to see your invoice until the payment has been processed. When items are returned, the proof of purchase will be updated once a refund has been processed.
Do I get a shopper with my order?
As part of our journey towards a sustainable and zero-waste future, we have made the decision to no longer engage our branded shoppers in online orders. If you would still like to receive a shopper with your order, please visit any lululemon store with your order confirmation and we will be happy to provide one. What is your delivery time & cost?
The delivery time of your order depends on the shipping method you have chosen.

How can I check my order and delivery status?
After you place your order, please allow our warehouse 1-2 days to process it. Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

Once we have received your return at our warehouse, it will take 5-7 business days to process. Your money will then be credited back to your original payment method. Please note that depending on your bank, it can take up to 3-10 business days for the money to appear on your bank statement.

If you are unable to select your items to return, it is because your items were received more than 30 days ago and are now outside the return period. Can I return an online or store purchase in another country?
Cross-border goods can be exchanged (in store only) or transferred to a gift card (in store or by post). Please note that the items you return will be valued in the currency of the country processing the return.

What forms of payment do you accept?

When will I be billed for my order?
Your credit card will be pre-authorized when your order is placed, but we do not process payment until the order is ready to ship. Once your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation email with your order number and details. We will then process and pack your order. Once your order is sent for delivery you will be charged and receive an email confirming delivery. The pre-authorization will be deleted in 7-10 business days.

Klarna is an alternative payment processor that allows you to split your purchase into 3 interest-free payments. Klarna takes end-to-end responsibility for your payment.
How do I use Klarna?

After your order has shipped, you will be billed for the first third of the total amount. Klarna will send a notification once the payment has been processed. Does Klarna affect my credit score or do a credit check?
Klarna may conduct so-called unrecorded inquiries (or soft credit searches) which do not affect the credit rating and are only visible to you and Klarna but not to other lenders. Neither Klarna nor lululemon will perform any credit checks on you that could affect your creditworthiness

Why wasn’t I offered Pay later in 3 interest-free installments?
Although Pay later in 3 interest-free installments is widely advertised, it’s not always available everywhere. The “Pay later in 3 interest-free installments” payment option is automatically generated by algorithms that depend on a number of factors, including address details, cardholder details, order amount, online store, previous order history and item availability.
How can I increase my chances of being accepted to pay later in 3 interest-free installments?
Klarna is unique and offers Pay later in 3 interest-free installments based on a number of factors such as order value, previous order history and item availability. If you are 18 years or older you can improve your chances of being offered Pay later in 3 interest free installments by ensuring you provide your full name and accurate address details and shipping to your registered billing address. All orders are valued individually. Just because you’ve previously been accepted for Pay later in 3 interest-free installments doesn’t mean it’s offered for every order. Again, if your request for payment in 3 interest-free installments is subsequently declined, this does not mean that it will be declined for all future orders.
How does the payment plan work?
The first payment will be taken from your debit or credit card when the merchant confirms your order. The two remaining payments will also be taken from your card 30 and 60 days after the first payment. Klarna will notify you of the due dates via electronic communication and they can be viewed in the Klarna Application. Read more here.
If you would like to pay the outstanding amount of your purchase early or before the due date, simply log in at the top of the Klarna page, go to the order page and select “Pay early”.

What if I can’t pay a Klarna installment?
Klarna will automatically attempt to collect payment for your payment purchase from the card you entered at checkout. You can find out when your payments will be collected in the email you received at the time of purchase or by logging into your Klarna account.
If the automatic payment fails, Klarna will try again after 7 days. If this payment also fails, Klarna will make another attempt after a further 7 days (14 days after the date of the first attempt).
Failure to pay on time may result in your debt being passed on to a collection agency and affect Klarna’s future credit decisions.
What happens if I don’t pay for my order?
Klarna will automatically attempt to collect payment for your Pay later in 3 interest free installment purchase at lululemon from the debit or credit card you provided at checkout. If we are unable to collect your payment by the scheduled due date, Klarna will make two more attempts to automatically collect payment, one 7 days after missed payment and one 14 days after missed payment. If this last attempt at payment fails, Klarna will issue you with a statement of the total outstanding order amount, which is due 15 days later. Klarna will notify you when a payment is due two days before attempting to collect your payment and you can monitor the due date at any time in the Klarna app at your convenience.
You will not be charged any fees or interest for late and/or missed repayment(s). Your credit rating will not be affected by using Klarna’s Pay later in 3 installments product, even if you have not paid on time. If you fail to make a payment, you are in default and may not be able to use the service in the future. We may still attempt to collect past due and currently due payments on later due dates or bill you separately for the unpaid total amount. If you do not pay for your purchase, Klarna may engage a third party collection agency to collect on our behalf. Collection agencies are used as a last resort.
Is my payment information safe?
Payment information is securely processed by Klarna. No map data is transmitted to or stored by lululemon. All transactions take place over connections secured with the latest industry standard security protocols.
Did you receive my payment?
Klarna will notify you via email and push notifications from the Klarna app when a payment is due and if it has been successfully collected, or in the unlikely event that your payment fails. If a payment has been collected but you have not received a payment confirmation, you can check the status of your order and payments at any time in the Klarna app or log in at www.klarna.com/de.
I haven’t received an email with my billing/payment information.

Do you sell gift cards?

How can I redeem my gift card?
Payment is made at the very end of the ordering process and not in the billing phase.
Follow these steps after you’ve checked out:

Why is reflective gear so expensive?
Reflective products from the exclusive SeaWheeze collection are available this year at entry-level and premium prices, giving all guests the opportunity to take home a reflective piece. Can I return something if it doesn’t fit?
We’re so excited and just can’t hide it. SeaWheeze gear is the last sale for those in North America. If you are in any of the international markets that have access to our SeaWheeze gear, you are entitled to a return or refund. Why can people return in INTL markets and just because I’m in NA I can’t return or get a refund?

Will Brexit affect my order?
Our distribution center is located in the Netherlands. As the Brexit interim agreement between the UK and the EU ends on December 31, 2020, there may be extended terms between the EU and the UK from January 1, 2021. Therefore, please allow additional time for the arrival of your order. We work extensively with UPS to minimize delays and you can track your delivery using the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email.
If you send an item back to us, it will still be processed at our UK-based returns center within the advertised timeframe.
How long does it take for my order to be delivered to the UK?
After placing your order online please allow 1-2 business days to process and dispatch it from our distribution center in the Netherlands before tracking your order.
From the time they leave our warehouse in the Netherlands, it usually takes an average of 3-4 working days for deliveries to reach UK addresses. However, please allow more time in January and February 2021 as it may take longer for our courier partner to attend to new customs documentation requirements.
