There are different types of orders that must be cleared to win a level:

Blocker Job: In order to run this job, you must delete the specified blocker. Maybe chocolate, maybe liquorice strudel… Anything! Make sure you learn how to delete them.

Being the game expert that I am, I tried the new event, that is:
Yes! This event and these are the new blockers that I am going to analyze this time and they are called Hazelnut Crunch Blockers.
Ok….Before we start and talk about these new blockers, let’s first start with how and when these blockers were first announced in CCFS.
Back in March 2020 (actually March 2nd and after my birthday) the amazing CM @QueenMia announced the arrival of new blockers in CCFS and showed us how they looked the same. But she asked our help (and the help of all players here) to find a good name for these blockers (see this competition here). After the contest ended, the winner was @debrichmond with the name ‘Hazelnut Crunch Blockers’ (EXACTLY! It’s the perfect name to describe these blockers. These blockers are so delicious and crunchy with hazelnuts in the middle. Mmm.. . I want so much to eat them.)
Anyway, after two months, on June 1st, 2020, the new Hazelnut Crunch Event appeared and introduced us to the Hazelnut Crunch Blockers in CCFS for the first time.
Many of us tried this event including myself and I found some great information to share with all of you. So let’s dive into this chocolate heaven and discover the secrets of this delicious new blocker!
1) Hazelnut crunch blockers are also known as “linked blockers”.
What exactly does that mean? I will tell you. According to level designer Joshua (whom he had on a Hangouts Q&A a few days ago), he called these new blockers “Linked Blockers” because all of them on a set’s board are linked together, so pressing 1 makes one level out of the whole Set away and don’t forget to mention that there are different flavors/sets with different colors. According to Joshua, if you find a match next to these new Hazelnut Crunch blockers or hit them with a special candy, any Hazelnut Crunch of the same color will take damage.
2) Hazelnut crunch blockers are stationary and will not fall off when candy is removed underneath.
Just like caramel blockers, carrot cake blockers, etc., these new blockers stay in the same position.
3) They can have up to 11 layers.
Exactly! If you see the image above and count the layers, there are 11 in total. Yes, you heard that right, and this makes Hazelnut Blockers harder to destroy and with fewer moves too.
4) Hearts pass them one by one and hit the rest of the set for 1 shift.
5) And we see them for the first time in level 2941 and as you and will see from the video below. (By the way, did you notice that level 2941 in CCFS is the same as the 1st level of the Hazelnut Crunch event?)
And now that we’ve covered those details for hazelnut crunch blockers, it’s time to see how effective our characters’ abilities are against these blockers.
Effective Characters Against Hazelnut Crunch Blockers:
Bubblegum Troll and his Bubble Blast skill and Mr.Yeti too.
BGT’s ability can jump over Hazelnut Crunch blockers hitting it multiple times, and the same goes for Mr. Yeti and his explosive candies.
Rachel’s Rainbow Candy can survive the hazelnut crunch.
Badger’s ability can hit Hazelnut Crunch blockers the same way it hits other blockers.
Medium neutral effective characters against hazelnut crunch blockers:
The Nutcracker skill only deals 1x damage in these blockers.
Misty, depends on the candies she will create with her magic.
No effective characters against hazelnut crunch blockers:
Odus and Jelly Queen are in trouble.
According to the level designers, striped candies CANNOT go through them, since Odus has the ability of two purple striped candies while Jelly Queen has her Cross Blast ability, her abilities don’t work in these levels.
Ditto for Tiffi with her jellyfish because her jellyfish don’t hit hazelnut crunch blockers (her jellyfish are actually candy focused).
Also, Olivia isn’t very useful because she’s focused on freeing those squids.
And Red Rabbit is very focused on just hitting the ice blocks!
Now everyone will be wondering how to make mid neutral effective characters and no effective characters useful and powerful enough against these new hazelnut crunch blockers?
Easy! With two methods!
1) Match candies alongside hazelnut crunch blockers BUT…always keep track of the objective and moves you have left in a level.
Also remember that all special candies are useful against these new blockers, except for striped candies, because striped candies are the only ones that cannot pass through them, so they cannot damage these new blockers.
2) Use time boosters and trust me…this advice from my friend @AbhinavSargar has saved me many times.

These Candy Crush Level 146 cheats and tips will show you how to beat level 146 of Candy Crush. The goal of level 146 is to get 99 orange candies, 99 purple candies and 13 striped candies in 50 moves and score at least 40,000 points.
Level 146 Cheat #1: Open the board.
This layer is almost completely covered by double-layered meringue, so you’ll want to remove most of it to make room for more candy.
It’s not necessary to overcome every obstacle in this level, so don’t focus too much on it – just try to have enough leeway.
You have to remove candy next to the meringue twice to remove it.
You only have to remove candies next to the liquorice swirls once.
Level 146 Cheat #2: Clear specials on the bottom.
Horizontal stripes are especially useful here if you can erase them further down the board.
This will make the meringue removal process much faster.

To start the level you need to break open the meringues block and open the game board with the very limited space and resources you have initially. Note that to remove the meringues you have to put down the candies that are next to them 2 times, but for liquorice strudel only once is enough. The guide here is that it’s not necessary to clear all blockers, instead you should focus on making enough room to play around. You can use horizontally striped candies to get rid of the meringues and it will give you better effect if you do it in the lower part of the board.
