Check out the exciting, action-packed new trailer for Prey, the latest entry in the Predator series. Set 300 years ago in the Comanche nation, Prey tells the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She grew up in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters to roam the Great Plains, and when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she pursues and ultimately confronts turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technologically advanced arsenal, leading to a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries including Amber Midthunder, Dakota Beavers, Stormee Kipp, Michelle Thrush and Julian Black Antelope. The film also stars Dane DiLiegro as the Predator. The film was written by Patrick Aison and produced by John Davis, Jhane Myers and Marty Ewing with Lawrence Gordon, Ben Rosenblatt, James E. Thomas, John C. Thomas and Marc Toberoff serving as executive producers. Prey, directed by Dan Trachtenberg, will be available to stream on August 5, 2022 as the Hulu Original in the US, Star+ in Latin America, and Disney+ under the Star banner in all other territories.

Released 5 years ago, Injustice 2 was a huge hit and arguably one of the best fighting games. With Mortal Kombat 11 seemingly complete in cycle and Mortal Kombat 12 likely in development, it’s high time to speculate on what DC Comics characters we could potentially see in Injustice 3.

The original Injustice games were well received by the fighting game community for their solid combo system and satisfying controls. DC fans have also expressed their love for the game, as it takes some of the comics’ most beloved characters and places them in a gritty setting similar to what we’ve seen in some other Mortal Kombat games.

There’s been a lot of rumor going around about what to expect from the next entry in the series, so we’ve decided that now is the perfect time to take a look at the story in WB Games’ Injustice universe so far, and deep into some as well diving into the more plausible leaks that have surfaced in recent months.

The History of Injustice

The first Injustice game subtitled Gods Among Us was released in 2013. The story largely takes place in an alternate universe within the DC Universe Multiverse. In this reality, Batman’s greatest fears come true when Superman goes rogue.

Tricked by his universe’s Joker, Superman kills Lois Lane and bombards Metropolis, killing millions in the process. Superman, fed up with the Joker’s twisted plans, breaks his most sacred rule and kills the clown in cold blood. After this, Superman becomes an all-powerful tyrant; Some heroes are forced to join his ranks out of fear, desperation, or blind loyalty.

Five years after the incident, Superman is now the leader of the Regime while Batman leads a group called the Insurgency. Some of the heroes from the best of the DC universe are suddenly transported to the Injustice universe, where they witness the destruction Superman wreaked on the planet.

After a series of battles and uneasy alliances, the heroes of both universes manage to defeat the evil Superman, imprisoning him in a prison filled with red solar radiation and thus eliminating his powers. A brief gleam in Superman’s eyes is a sign that he’s not as powerless as the heroes think he is…

Injustice 2, the second game, begins with a glimpse of Krypton’s downfall at the hands of Brainiac while Supergirl and a baby Clark Kent flee the planet. There is also the revelation that at some point during the events of the first game, Robin left Batman and broke their strict moral code by killing Victor Zsasz.

Two years have now passed since the regime’s defeat. Batman works with the remnants of the Justice League to undo the damage done by the Man of Steel and his minions.

But just when it looks like things might go back to how they were before, Brainiac invades Earth and shrinks some of the planet’s cities to add to his miniature collection.

A new alliance of villains gathers, called the Society. Overpowered by Brainiac and his brainwashed minions, Batman forms a reluctant alliance with Superman and other members of the Regime on the condition that they kill no one during the fight.

Unlike its predecessor, Injustice 2 features two different endings depending on whether the player teams up with Batman or Superman. While Superman wants nothing more than to kill Brainiac, Supergirl, Batman, Aquaman and the rest of the insurgents work to find a way to undo the damage the alien has done to their planet.

If Superman wins, he becomes the tyrant once more, forcing people under his command using Brainiac’s brainwashing technology. Batman’s ending is a little more uplifting as the evil Superman is deposed with Gold Kryptonite and trapped in the Phantom Zone, followed by Super Girl joining the reformed Justice League.

What could be the story in Injustice 3?

While there is some discrepancy among fans, it’s safe to say that Batman’s ending seems like the most logical (and therefore canonical) choice between the two. Superman’s ending leaves very little room for maneuver in terms of plot, as there is no one left to oppose the regime’s power.

The next Injustice game may have to deal with the evil Superman’s escape from the Phantom Zone. After all, not only Batman could try to use the powers of the powerful Kryptonian. Even if he’s been ousted, there’s no reason to believe that there isn’t a way for Superman to regain his powers – after all, worse has happened to him.

Another storyline that Injustice 3 could revisit lies with Doomsday. The character’s fate in the Injustice universe is uncertain as the last we saw of him was that he was sent to the Phantom Zone. Perhaps a duo of Doomsday and Superman could be strong enough to break free from the pocket dimension and establish a new version of the Regime.

So far, there has been precious little information as to what the next Injustice game might be about, as even the comics haven’t been able to give us any clues as to what the future might hold for the series.

8 DC Characters We Would Like To See In Injustice 3

NetherRealm has done a pretty solid job with the rosters from the previous titles, incorporating many fan favorites into the video games. For the next game, Injustice 3, we’d love to see a few more wacky and crazier DC heroes and villains added to the mix.

8. Batman beyond

In the last two games, there were 5 different members of the bat family in the world of Injustice. And while each added a unique skill set and was fun to play with, we can’t help but think Batman Beyond/Terry McGinnis would be a lot more fun than some of the other additions.

Not only is he great at hand-to-hand combat, but his use of technology during a fight would make him one of the more interesting characters to choose. He is the Dark Knight with even more advanced technology.

7. Kitana

Injustice 2’s Robin proved that sword-based fighters can both work and be loads of fun. Adding a character that relies solely on their sword would be a great way to expand on this design. There are many possibilities for Kitana to be added in Injustice 3 as she is said to be very much alive in the comics.

6. Plastic Man

The addition of Blue Beetle in Injustice 2 was a big step in the right direction to bring a more light-hearted character into the dark world of Injustice. Plastic Man would not only be a great counterpart to MvC3’s Deadpool, but it could also introduce an interesting long-distance playstyle to the game.

5. Booster Gold

Booster is an idiot with a heart of gold and would make a great counterpart to Johnny Cage from Mortal Kombat in Injustice 3. Although presumed dead in the Injustice series universe, he could potentially be brought back to add a playstyle that combines Batman’s gadgets with The Flash’s super speed.

4. Beast Boy

Shapeshifter-type characters always make for interesting playstyles in fighting games, and Injustice has sorely missed a representative of that. Beast Boy’s ability to transform into any animal he wants could result in a cool stance-based design where he can vary his move-set and change his game plan on the fly.

3.Thomas Wayne

He may wear the Dark Knight’s hood, but Thomas Wayne was a huge fan favorite of the Flashpoint event. He’s clearly always had very different abilities than Bruce, and his more violent nature could make an interesting alternative to Batman in Injustice 3. Since Batman relies more on a mid-level game plan, Thomas Wayne could have more in your face martial arts fighting style.

2. Killer Crocodile

Previous games are sorely lacking in the grappler department. Especially with Grundy’s absence in Injustice 2, developer Netherrealm Studios would be remiss not to add another in Injustice 3. Killer Croc absolutely fits the bill for the throw-based archetype and could make for a more traditional archetype given its straightforward approach to combat in the DC Universe.

1. The Riddler

This is as crazy as fighters we’d like to see in Injustice 3 get. No fighter in his own right, the Riddler relies on his wit and silly gadgets to guide his villainy. We think The Riddler in Injustice 3 could be a trap-based archetype fighter that controls space by placing objects on the ground and in the air to keep enemies from getting close. It could also be possible that he is the first character to interact differently with stage hazards.

Of course, we’d also like to see Constantine finally show up.

The Matrix’s Neo might be the best DLC character ever

Everyone loves a fresh rumor, especially when it comes to Injustice 3, The Matrix, and Keanu Reeves’ Neo. Although neither NetherRealm Studios nor Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have confirmed that the video game will be developed for next-gen consoles, it is more than likely.

In recent years, Injustice has surprised us with unexpected characters like Hellboy and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility to expect Neo from The Matrix, which is rumored to be one of the most important day-a DLC characters.

It would be lucky for a second time, as NetherRealms’ Ed Boon confirmed to Game Informer that the famous Chosen One almost appeared in Injustice 2.

No doubt all of these DLC characters add some spice to the already great fighting game series, but it will be interesting to see how the developers surpass themselves with each new release. Including someone like Neo would automatically pique the curiosity of non-gamers.

Because Warner Bros. owns the distribution rights to The Matrix, the company is able to sell its other proprietary stages, ie. H. “Injustice” to use to promote its various products. To fans it will look like a cool addition to the game, but it’s also a clever marketing ploy by Warner Bros.’ part.

Marketing potential aside, a character like Neo would fit Injustice 3 like a glove. His unique fighting style is very visual and something that players would enjoy. His combos would be next level and you can only imagine how out of this world his super move would be. And wouldn’t it be amazing if Keanu Reeves voiced the character in-game as well?

Before we jump too far, we should be aware that Neo’s presence in Injustice 3 is purely rumored and completely unconfirmed. Thing is, this is way more plausible than some of the other crazy theories on the forums. It feels like it’s something that has a better than 50% chance of being true.

A title like Injustice 3 sells easily, especially when you’re able to play as everyone’s favorite bullet-dodger, Neo. We should hear more news about all the developments soon, although it could be a long time coming if the rumored 2021 release date is true.

Injustice 3 News, Theories and Leaks

Most of the theories and “leaks” about Injustice 3 revolve around what new fighters we will see in the upcoming game. A quick look at the state of the DCEU could give us some clues as to who will be joining the roster in the next Injustice.

The surge in popularity that Suicide Squad has seen over the last few years cannot be ignored by future Injustice games. King Shark would be an obvious choice as a newcomer to the list as he will also appear in the Rocksteady game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

Ra’s al Ghul

One of Batman’s most prominent villains, Ra’s al Ghul appeared in some of Injustice’s supplemental media, but never in any of the games as a playable character. That could change with Injustice 3.

Other characters that we’re sure will make a comeback in Injustice 3 are Batman and the rest of the new Justice League (including Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Black Canary, Red Tornado, etc.). There is also a possibility that Shazam will return since the Black Adam movie will be released very soon. And don’t be surprised to also see Lex Luthor, Harley Quinn, Martian Manhunter and Ocean Master.

As has become a tradition, there is a very high possibility that guest characters from Mortal Kombat will make their way onto the Injustice roster. The first game had Scorpion while the second had Sub-Zero and Raiden. Following this trend, it seems like the next characters to join the battle of superpowers could be Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade or even Liu Kang.

Allegedly, leaks about Injustice 3 development confirmed that Beast Boy, Raven, Starfire, Robin, Etrigan, Nightwing, Poison Ivy, John Stewart, Guy Gardner, Artemis, Metallo and Cyborg would all be part of the roster, which gave us that Chance to play as any member of the Teen Titans. If these rumors are true, then it’s very likely that we’ll see Deathstroke return to the main roster as well.

So far, there hasn’t been any official word from NetherRealm Studios on the development of Injustice 3 (not even during DC Fandome), but 2021 has been a great year for DC fans, so it makes sense to think the studio will have something to announce throughout will be 2022. Also, creative director Ed Boon has been teasing the title for a while.

Pushing for a release date, Boon simply stated, “It’s hard to pinpoint when we don’t have a release date that we’ve picked for our next game and there are so many factors that go into making a transition to the next game.” Role playing consoles etc.”

Is an Injustice 3 coming? What is the release date of Injustice 3? What is the name of Injustice 3? Does NetherRealm make Injustice 3? Who will star in Injustice 3? What characters will appear in Injustice 3?

The truth is that no one knows yet. NetherRealm is definitely hard at work on something big. It could be soon. It could be next year. But it will definitely come.

2013 DC superhero brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us is 100 percent off Steam. While there’s no apparent reason the game is free right now, this could be in response to the upcoming “Fandome” event celebrating all things DC, which will also feature a new DC game from publisher Warner Bros. Interactive will be included.

Throughout its 8-hour campaign, Injustice puts you in the shoes of various characters from the DC Universe fighting your way through a story set in a parallel universe. Playing on developer NetherRealm’s fighting game roots, Injustice features one-on-one combat and some fun QTEs that still look pretty impressive despite the game’s age. There is also a battle mode, versus mode, training mode and S.T.A.R. Labs, a mode with 240 character-specific challenges. It’s highly recommended as it’s a great way to really learn a character’s movements to the point where you know them inside out. If you’ve always wanted to know what Superman would be like as a dictator, or if you’re looking for a fighting game with a real honest-to-god-good story, Injustice is your best bet. After the console versions of Injustice: Gods Among Us caused a stir and some controversy as part of their DLC, Mortal Kombat’s demonic ninja Scorpion arrives in the mobile version.

When he was added to the PS3 and X-Box 360 versions of Injustice, many players felt that Scorpion was overwhelming in terms of game balance. So much so that many tournaments denied him use to keep the pitches level. However, the mobile game is single player and does not share the same mechanics. It will be interesting to see if the MK Vet builds a new following.

Hanzo Hasashi was a member of the Shirai Ryu ninja clan who was killed by Sub-Zero and his assassin clan.

But hell would not hold him. He returned, endowed with supernatural powers to carry out his revenge.

Codenamed Scorpion, Hanzo became one of the most popular characters in the Mortal Kombat universe. This was mainly due to his “Come Here!” Slogan when he hooked an opponent with his Kumai Spear.

Now Injustice iOS players have a chance to add this deadly ninja to their roster. You just have to complete the challenge mode with 63 battles and 5 levels.

For each completed challenge level, you will receive a piece of Hanzo’s gear (Boot, Glove, Sword, Mask and Kumai the Scorpion).

Once you win all five challenges, a gold level scorpion will be added to your collection.

Flawless Victory!

If you’ve never seen or played a challenge mode, it’s a separate series of 5 challenges totaling 63 battles.

Challenge Mode battles must be paid for with Challenge Credits. First, you get 25 free challenge credits, and you can earn more credits by playing story battles. But if you get stuck, NetherRealm is happy to sell you more in the Injustice DLC shop.

General Zod comes to rule Android

After smashing his way onto iOS over the summer with his Kryptonian rifle, Superman’s nemesis and Krypton’s own insane dictator turns his attention to a new world to conquer.

Like the Scorpion Challenge, you must complete 5 sets of 3v3 battles to win your very own Gold Level Zod. That’s a total of 63 rounds, ranging from easy bronze levels to progressively more challenging battles.

Each battle series has a prize (Zod’s belt, chest armor, gauntlets, rifle, and goggles) and prizes for completing an entire challenge series.
