While searching on the internet, I’ve found this video , it’s inportuguese so I can’t understand what the dude is saying, but he links to this download for a winCE autokit app http://121.40.123.198:8080/Autokit/AutoKit-WINCE.rar (I left the link so that you can see it before you click it, lol) to use with any carlinkit dongle.After extracting it, I can launch it with BootLoader, but it only half works: The program starts, but it seems to not be loading some stuff, there are sliders without descriptions that do nothing, the language button is there but doesn’t do anything, and most importantly it doesn’t start looking for the dongle (which I already had for another car).If you want to try, you need to launch AutoKit.exe that is in the /BIN/ folder after you extract it.Here’s what it should look like (screenshots from the video, and other videos I later found that showed the same program):I feel like I’m so close yet so far from finally having it work!The program wouldn’t even launch if it couldn’t, would it? I’m not very experienced at all with windows / windowss CE, so I leave it to you, if you can understand it better.EDIT: I tried running it with the winCE emulator that @ mX87m linked… four years ago, and the program works perfectly fine! This means that something happens in the headunit(which is an European Hyundai Tucson 2016 HeadUnit, the Gen2). Maybe it doesn’t read the files in the same folder that are needed to make it run? I don’t know, as I said I’m not an expert at all in this.EDIT 2: digging around the headunit, I found that it’s running Windows Embedded Compact 7, not Win CE 6. This very well could explain why the WinCE6 app isn’t working correctly on it, but I would still imagine that if it wasn’t compatible, it wouldn’t launch at all. but as I said I might be very wrong on this.I think that “embedded compact” is just a name change from CE, but I still have no idea how comparable CE6 and CE7 are, and if apps built for one run on the other.The app existing at all means that it is possible to use those dongles, if somebody writes (or ports) an app for it.
