Lavandula angustifolia ‘Irene Doyle’ forms a compact shrub 50-60 cm high and 75-90 cm in diameter. It has gray-green foliage and extremely aromatic violet-colored flowers.
Grows better in soils with pH 6.0-7.0 (slightly acid to neutral soil).
Lavandula angustifolia ‘Irene Doyle’ blooms twice, one in the early mid-spring, and one in the middle of the summer. This is why this English Lavender often called ‘Two Seasons‘.

This cultivar of English lavender has an especially fine fragrance and blooms heavily again in the autumn. For that reason it is sometimes called ‘Two Seasons’. The flower color is medium/light purple, and is highly recommended for oil production and potpourri. A very popular variety.
