EmuMMC broke after istalling Kirby (Unknown pkg1 version hos version not supported)
Strange, but for me personally I can say that the problem has nothing to do with the pre-release because the first time it appeared I was still on AMS 1.2.6.
I actually found out that the “unknown pgk1” error can (atleast in my case) be resolved by going into Hekate -> emuMMC -> migrate emuMMC. On the next screen you can choose to “Fix RAW” which made me able to boot into Atmosphere/emuMMC again.
I also used Goldleaf (instead of DBI), another USB cable and another USB port on my PC to re-install all the missing NSPs and it worked without crashing. This at first led me to the conclusion that either DBI, the usb cable or the usb port was the initial problem. However I once again had another system crash yesterday while casually trying to check my system data (through the switch settings menu) which resulted in an unbootable emuMMC with the error “unknown pgk1″…
So lastly some kind of underlying problem seems to persist with my install. I will now test the SD card itself for problems with h2testw and if it turns out fine I will try to completely setup my SD from scratch again.

Ok, I don’t understand.I have a new hackable switch that I want to install atmosphere on. So I followed this guide as usual and everything went well.But when I launched the emuMMC for the first time I had this message:SysNAND boots fine (without atmosphere).SysNAND’s version is 11.0.1. I tried reinstalling Hekate and Atmosphere on the microSD but still get the same message.What I suspect so far:- The microSD: it’s from an unknown brand (nuiFlash) and supposed to be U3 but it’s very slow (17Mo/s on reading). But would I have this error if it was the card’s slowness (I rather expect something like “emuMMC can’t be found”)- The partitionning: I partitionned with TegraExplorer which is unusual to me. I’m currently trying to create SD File emuMMC to see if it changes anything.Update: I tried SD File emuMMC and when I launch it screen get stuck on HEKATE IPL splash screen for a minute and then it crash with some graphic glitch and I have to hard reboot.Did I miss something ? Do you guys have other ideas ?Thanks for your help !

He llegado a ver algunas veces (no muchas) en el foro con gente teniendo este problema, pero no parece a priori que sea por mi mismo motivo.He instalado un NSP en mi switch, y en medio de la instalación me ha dado un error. No es la primera vez que pasaba así que no le he dado mucha importancia. El problema ha sido cuando he ido a iniciar un juego. Ha saltado un error del atmosphere y he reiniciado la consola. Después he ido a volver a iniciar el CFW con el hekate y me ha saltado esto:He probado a reinstalar las carpetas de atmosphere y hekate, pero el resultado ha sido el mismo.Tengo entendido que este tipo de errores se dan cuando se instala mal una actualización del firmware, pero en mi caso no ha habido instalación de firmware (tengo la 13.0.0 y el atmosphere estaba si no me equivoco en la 1.1.1).¿Podría intentar hacer al menos un backup de las partidas guardadas de algún modo? ¿O me va a tocar reinstalar el CFW? Por lo que he estado buscando, a parte de reponer las carpetas no dicen nada más por internet.Gracias!(Si veis un problema con el post, cerradlo, hacerle un merge con otro hilo o lo que veais)

Hi all,
I’m trying to setup my switch to dualboot between android and emunand. I’m running into a problem though. I preformed these steps:
1. Backed up existing emunand with NXNandManager
2. Backed up all SD contents to PC
3. Deleted all partitions on card and created a new Fat32 part.
3. Used Hekate to create a 60GB Android partition with the rest going to FAT32 HOS.
4. Restored eumnand to hidden partition using NXNand Manager
5. Copied my files back over to FAT32 partition.
When I launch fusee_primary from Hekate, I get the error message shown below. Any idea’s on what could be wrong?
Note: If I simply wipe the card and then restore the emunand with NXNandManager, everything restores just fine, all settings are preserved. If I create that android partition, before or after the restore, that’s when the error happens.

RSS – Atmosphere/Hekate Error: Unknown pkg1 version HOS version not supported after Daybreak Update
Just as the title says. After updating both Atmosphere, Hekate and sigpatches to their lastest release I downloaded a 12.0.1 FW update to install with Daybreak. After the update was succesfull the system rebooted and I get this error and can’t boot emuNAND anymore. SysNAND works fine it’s still on FW 11.0.1. Any help to fix this would be appreciated.

I’ve been trying to follow birbchirps detailed guide but when I try to launch into CFW (emuMMC) I keep getting errors. I’m literally stuck and don’t know what I’m doing wrong as I’m following the guide. The issues I’m seeing are “Unknown pkg1 version. HOS version not supported. Failed to launch HOS!” I’m also seeing “fatal error: [NXBOOT] failed to mount EmuMMC from SD card partition!” I have no clue how to fix this
