For individual servings, the cost ranges from 6,500 to 7,500 KRW while the pizza costs 18,900 KRW and the Honey Butter Bread is at 12,900 KRW. In addition to that, you can also buy your drinks at Sulbing. The price of coffee ranges from 3,000 to 6,000 KRW and it can be hot or iced. Moreover, you can also order tea at 4,500 KRW while a smoothie ranges from 7,000 to 8,000 per serving.

They also have seasonal menu such as the Mango Cheese Sulbing. I also remember ordering a Melon flavored sulbing and was surprised to see that it really has a melon on top of it. Seasonal menu are worth the try for they are only available in certain times of the year.

Special Events

Aside from those special and seasonal menu, Sulbing is also leveling up its marketing in terms of brand collaboration. Sometimes they partner with Kpop agencies for limited edition flavor of bingsu that comes with free merchandise. In 2017, my friends and I went to Sulbing branch in Myeongdong and we were delighted to know they have a partnership with our favorite Kpop group, BTOB. So for every order, you will get a 1 free official PC (photo card) from any BTOB member. The photo card was given randomly and we couldn’t choose the member but tahnkfully, the cashier gave me a PC of my bias in BTOB. Must be destiny, right?

Ambiance

As for the ambiance of a typical Sulbing café, it is usually spacious. I have been to numerous of their shops in different cities in Korea like Seoul, Busan, Nonsan and Daejeon and I can say that they maintain its cleanliness. Also, another thing that I like from dining in at Sulbing is their playlist. I’m not sure if it’s the staff’s playlist that they play at the store but whenever I dine it, the songs are really music to my ears.

Bingsu comes in many variations and flavours but for me, I have a specific one to try in order to test their flavour. Injulmi Bingsu is the one and apparently it’s the shop’s best-seller too!

Injulmi Bingsu as usual comes with the shaved snow ice which is so soft, powdery and light. Besides the ice, the topping itself also makes a big difference.

Injulmi is also known as Korean rice cake coated in soybean powder. If you want something authentic, I say go for this.

It also comes with condensed milk which you can pour over the bingsu. This definitely added a layer of sweetness to it.

If you don’t like soybean, don’t worry because there are also many flavours for you to choose from.

You can easily find Sulbing all over Seoul, so just try it when you see one!
