ตอนอักษรวิจิตร หรือชื่อที่ทุกคนรู้จักกันในชื่อ Calligraphy รูปแบบการเขียนตัวหนังสือที่มีรูปแบบหรือวิธีการเขียนที่วิจิตรและมีแบบแผนที่สืบทอดกันมาช้านาน เพื่อคงรูปแบบหน้าตาของตัวอักษรสวยงามเพื่อใช้ในงานทางการ หรือแม้กระทั้งพัฒนาเป็นแบบลายมือที่มีเอกลักษณ์ ในปัจจุบันอักษรวิจิตรได้รับความนิยมจากกลุ่มคนรุ่นใหม่ ที่เลือกทั้งตัวละตินหรือตัวภาษาไทยมาสร้างสรรค์เป็นรูปแบบการเขียนใหม่ ทั้งเพื่อความสวยงาม การเป็นงานอดิเรก จนถึงสามารถใช้งานเขียนประกอบเป็นอาชีพได้
ในตอนนี้เราพูดคุยกับนักเขียนอักษรวิจิตรภาษาไทยอย่างอาจารย์จินดา เนื่องจำนงค์ และนักเขียนอักษวิจิตรนภาษาอังกฤษ คุณรพิ ริกุลสุรกาน เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนวิธีการและรูปแบบที่ทั้งเหมือนและต่างกันของแต่ละภาษาและวิธีการเขียน รวมถึงเรื่องอื่นๆ ที่น่ารู้ในโลกของ Calligraphy จากมุมมองของทั้งสองคน

Calligraphy is an old traditional form of handwriting. The art and skill of calligraphy was passed down through generations. In the past, Calligraphy served the purpose of handcopying. Nowadays, it still manages to maintain its own spotlight among current creative trends. Calligraphy is infused into plenty other of creative design fields, be it for commercial purposes or just a hobby.
In this episode we are speaking with Ajarn (professor) Jinda Nuangjumnong— A Thai script calligrapher and K. Rapi RIK — A Latin calligrapher. Both will share with us their perspectives towards calligraphy in their script, and factors that should be considered while learning and practicing the art of calligraphy.
