Cheap Flights from Daytona Beach to Atlanta from $134

Pros: “Everything was great. Seats, service, flight, crew.” Cons: “N/A”

Pros: “Awesome crew and great flight”

Pros: “Very spacious.” Cons: “N/A”

Pros: “All was great!”

Cons: “The seat was squeaking all the time”

Pros: “Kudos to the employees who really tried to help rather than pay mere lip service.” Cons: “The plane experienced a mechanical issue forcing us to return to the gate after waiting for an hour. The staff was clearly overwhelmed and focused on moving us along (Cheryl) rather than resolving our need to reach our destinations.it wasn’t until we found one extremely patient and persistent employee (LaShondra-?) who booked us through NYC rather than Atlanta so we reached Rochester on the same day. So the questions are- why don’t the airport hold a larger inventory of parts, why aren’t there back up planes and why doesn’t the software better cope with these types of situations?”

Cons: “Roomier”

Pros: “Clean Washroom” Cons: “N A”

Cons: “The flight had over six hours in combined delays!!!”

Pros: “The movies” Cons: “They didn’t have any blankets left it was really cold on plane”

Cons: “We were late getting into ATL.”

Pros: “I was originally booked through jfk with an 80 minute layover. When I told a delta.help desk employee i feared it was too tight (I flew out through jf k and that was enough to convince me…) he booked me through Atlanta with a.comfortable schedule. Thank you!”

Cons: “Didn’t I could pick my seat. I was assigned my seat. I like window seats. Either leg of the trip was a window seat.”

Pros: “Everything went smoothly.”

Cons: “Boarding was disorganized. Snack mix tasted plain.”

Pros: “The movies offered were decent” Cons: “I paid extra for a window seat I sit down after they squeezed us all in like sardines and come to my surprise there is no window in my aisles it had been covered up in plastic . First making my area narrow than all the other seats and between the plane leaving late and the terrible process of loading people on the plane . Delta airlines was all about the up sale from charging for every bag to charging for internet ,food so on and so forth. Also one bathroom in the middle of the plane ? REALLY ? Out of tissue , paper towels , and tissue one hour into the flight . What in the Hell is going on with this airline ? Won’t fly with them again .”

Pros: “Boarding was super quick, as crew wanted to leave before the strong rains and winds came through, so we left early! Plane itself was very modern and surprisingly comfortable, as much as a small space can be. Good amount of entertainment, and the crew were pleasant. And flight itself was smooth with very little turbulence which helps!” Cons: “Had to pay for food, which was a little annoying considering the cost of the flight. Entertainment was very American led… but I guess not surprising considering it’s delta.”

Pros: “On time flight courteous service” Cons: “Food”

Cons: “flights all on Delta – about one a week for 3 months straight – and yet when Delta cancelled my flight and re-booked they did not give me any upgrade or loyalty as I saw it – I had paid extra for Delta Comfort and they told me the flight they re-booked me on simply did not have any comfort available. However, I was not the one canceling the flight and re-booking – that is their problem and after so much loyalty for years I feel like I should have gotten some kind of upgrade for free…If I have to cancel – I have to pay fees – but if they cancel – I lose …despite being a very loyal SkyMiles customer. I am quite disillusioned with Delta now and will have to look around to see what other airlines there are now – and my entire family – and what kind of loyalty they give to their loyal customers. It needs to be a two-way”

Pros: “Waiting in the departure lounce was ok” Cons: “Boarding was kind of stupid Delta is boarding in Zones and starts at the front instead of starting boarding passangers sitting at the back of the plane and moving forward NO they do it the wrong way and due to that boarding takes to long and makes you frustrated.”

Pros: “Going by and come Ming back Atlanta check in desk was the rudest Laziest most disrespectful emoyees I have ever came across . Check in person played on her phone and didn’t even look at you when asking what seat was I assigned . Going from Atlanta to Fort Lauderdale the check in person was so rude there where 5 people askI’m her what’s her problem . The crew the flight was excellent but the Atlanta check in desk really dropped the ball 2 times . If I was the manger I would fire the whole staff and If I was above the manager I would fire them as well as I’m. Sure this is not an isolated occasion.”

Pros: “Crew was very good I would say that 5” Cons: “This Delta flight did not have seat back screens to watch in flight entertainment. You needed to use your smartphone or tablet keeping in mind Amazon tablets won’t work. You needed to go to delta website and choose what want to watch the you needed to have Gogo Flight entertainment app already on smartphone and then would work. Not easy even for me a vivid user of tablets and smartphones. The seats had miniumal room available between seats it felt like I am on 5’qq so couldn’t imagine anyone taller that comfortable unless get first class. I even upgraded for “comfort” section which gave you a few inches extra. And wdith of chair me being a 36 waist was a little squeezed in. Crew was very good tho I will say that. But I laways fly JetBlue or Virgin America, or Alaskan Air for reason of more comfort and lower prices ticket but this time on flight close to my destination was Delta which I Flew for free, I would much rather buy ticket on the three others I fly if could have.”

Pros: “I like that I had a window seat with enough space to stretch my legs and look at the view.” Cons: “I was shy about 45 min of boarding my flight. I didn’t want to do self check out because I wanted to make sure my Itinerary was right so I went to a clerk. She did my boarding pass by verifying who I was and by my Id and printed out. I then go to security they asked for my Id and boarding pass. I gave it to them and she was like Ingrad is not your name doesn’t match your ID. I said no it doesn’t your going to have to go back up and get my boarding pass redone again. I was Furious and frustrated because I didn’t want to miss my flight over a mix up from one of your Clerks and at the time she never asked me if I wanted a window seat or not . This made for a bad experience going to Atlanta but I was grateful that I didn’t miss my flight.”

Pros: “Crew very friendly”

Pros: “Nice flight nice crew just about as good as you would want”

Pros: “Flight went off pretty well. On time no complaints.” Cons: “Somewhere somehow you need to know that, although partners, Delta and West Jet do not share computer systems and that they are two completely different airlines. This affects ,sometimes, how luggage is handled especially when you land in another country and you have to manually transfer your own – and nobody tells you. You actually change airlines. Itinerary implies West Jet controls the entire thing. Not the case. Better job economic explaining what to With luggage and that, while itinerant implies 1 airline, they are only partners and should be treated separately.”

Pros: “Nothing” Cons: “We lost our whole vacation and had to pay for the plans fare twice because My last name was spelled wrong on our tickets and we were unable to use them because my passport didn’t match the name on the ticket. We had to rebook everything pay almost twice as much for the plane fare, our Lodi g cost more and our trip was delayed for two weeks. Vyama is blaming us for spelling our name wrong and claimes that it’s our fault this happened because everything is automated. There saying they don’t touch anything that we enter into the booking but somehow everything they claim we entered is now in all capital letters and the space between our first name and middle name is now gone and all run together. The coustomer service number gets you to someone in India. I have tried to get this addressed four times now at first they tried to place the responsibility on the airlines now us and they have hung up on me twice. Kayak has been worthless, they also just pass the responsibility on to someone else. We will never use them again ant I intend to make sure that this mess is put out in social media to hopefully keep others from having their travel plans ruined by their flawed system.”

Cons: “The bulkhead sears had no electrical outlet”

Cons: “The boarding process is quite confusing with all the different categories of people prior to the actual listed “zone” boarding. As an example, if you have a “Zone 2″ boarding pass, you think you will be second to board when in reality that means you are second to last to board. After those who need extra time, those with small children, active military, premier, whatever…. all that covers about 2/3 of the passengers. Then of course there’s all the stepping over those who already boarded which seems to slow the process overall. It would be better to ask these questions when making your reservation. Then, the zones would be appropriate based on how you made your reservation to begin with.”

Pros: “Our Delta plane was brand spanking new. Everything worked and the inflight entertainment system was fantastic with many movies to choose from, free headphones, games, tv shows, etc. The crew was polite and the seating at least as comfortable as expected for a 4 hour flight.” Cons: “The restrooms in the rear of the plane were remarkably small, even by airline standards. I’m a somewhat larger person and I fit, but I know a lot of people who would literally not be able to fit on the toilet without touching both of the sidewalls or risk getting stuck in there. The boarding process at San Jose Del Cabo was the most ridiculous setup I’ve ever experienced. There were numerous flights boarding out of the same gates and at least 3 or 4 lines for different destinations forming on a ramp just outside the gates. There were guys with signs trying to herd people into the correct lines and then loading the people onto buses which took you out to the planes. The planes were loading from both the front and rear doors and people were getting tangled up inside because of the haphazard loading process. Very easy for a person to end up on an incorrect plane!!”

Cons: “You had me check my hand luggage with expensive items that did not arrive.”

Pros: “Very pleasant customer service, excellent bag delivery service.”

Pros: “Boarding” Cons: “Nothing”

Pros: “Staff were friendly and attentive. Boarding was good – efficient and quick.” Cons: “Seats were not that comfortable. Aircraft very noisy. Competition offers a much better service. Transfer in Atlanta was a nightmare, taking almost two hours from landing to getting to the domestic gate for the next sector. only three immigration staff working.”

Cons: “On the MSP to ATL leg the gate crew made a huge deal about checking rolling bags. They even stopped us at check-in and nearly begged us to check our bags pointing to the backed up jetway. But we had a lot of unpacking to do before checking our bags so we politely declined three times. On getting to our seats there were at least 8 open slots for bags near us. I heard a crew member call forward to say “tell them no more rollaboards” so they forced everyone left to check. On departure they slammed shut several very large empty overheads. WTF”

Cons: “the older stuardess on my flight from Cancun to Atlanta was very misinformed- told me my carry on wouldn’t fit in the over head bin… it did. Told me I had to check my duty free liquor.. I didn’t. Told me I couldn’t bring all of my liquor in to the US… I could. I just kept saying ok to her just to shut her up, but she ensued with her comments and wrong info as if I don’t travel as often as I do. Perhaps she was attempting to be helpful, but it came off as obnoxious and rude especially since she was wrong on every accord. Humbleness and customer service training would do her very good. All other DELTA staff have been great.”

Pros: “Entertainment was good. Delta staff seemed flat compared to other delta flights I’ve been on.” Cons: “Space. Economy on a long flight is not ideal”

Cons: “Planned my trip for my birthday/10 year anniversary. The first leg of the trip, flying from ft Lauderdale to atlanta was ok except for the pilot having to circle around bc he was too close to the airplane in front to land. This made us supposedly late to our connecting flight which by the way was not supposed to leave before 8:10. My husband and I arrived at the gate about 10 minutes before only to be told that the door was locked. Needless to say, we weren’t the only ones. When we got up to the desk, the attendant was extremely rude. I was having a conversation with my husband about a dog that had just passed us . She immediately made her way into the conversation asking me what i was saying. I told her I was talking to my husband about the dog and under her breath said : ” I’m sure you were.” I then told her that i was more than sure about what I was talking about. We get booked on another flight and my seat was the only one without a working monitor. We asked the suitardess to see o If there was anything that could be done They tried to reset it to no avail. Since we didn’t say anything else, it was forgotten about. My husband shared his screen with me so that I wasn’t totally bored on the flight. Not the way I wanted to start off my birthday but I’m glad that nightmare is over Delta really needs to retrain their employees on customer service bc it leaves a lot to be desired!”

Pros: “Liked seating in Delta Comfort w own space for carry on and earlier boarding. Staff was attentive snd friendly and offered many snacks. Good choices for tv. Should option of getting head phones as I had the wrong one. Comfortable” Cons: “Should have one free luggage for Delta Comfort. More variety of food to purchash”

Pros: “Fast as always. Very professional” Cons: “Inwasny aware my small pocket knife wouldn’t be accepted at the airport even though it has been cleared before and the staff was a bit rude about it.the food”

Cons: “I am a 5’3″ 125# woman who, unfortunately, had a middle seat assignment. The passenger to my right, on the aisle, weighed approximately 375# and took up 1/3 of my seat. The arm was not able to go down comfortably, and when it did it was not usable . The passenger on my left, window seat, was probably 6’7″ and had to sit with a man spread in order to fit. I could not move and was extremely uncomfortable. The plane was overbooked so I was unable to move. Therefore, worst flight ever. Plus, I paid for a full seat and was only able to occupy half of it.”

Pros: “My luggage was lost. I reported it and they said that they would send it to Dallas where I was staying the next day. Got into a new country and city without my luggage. Had to buy clothes and toiletries at Walmart. The next morning I received I call to say my luggage had arrived. I went to the airport and indeed it had arrived and for some reason it was returned to Atlanta. After endless calls and conversations I got my luggage that evening. It was very inconveniencing. Worst experience of my life. Never again.” Cons: “Luggage issues Cleanliness of the plane The cabib crew”

Cons: “Expected to pay £30 just to reserve a seat. Most of the top airlines allow this to be done for free. It’s about time that Virgin Atlantic followed suit.”

Pros: “The Economy seats with added space Plenty of space Cheerful crew” Cons: “Nothing”

Cons: “Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta’s scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta’s fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta’s control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics – an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity – over its customers’ experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide.”

Pros: “Not too much this leg!” Cons: “Baggage retrieval was horrendous! Absolutely a nightmare which after paying for 3 nights hotel with no discount, I was further inconvenienced by the inability to receive my 2nd luggage and after requesting it be delivered, I, I, tracked my bag and you chose to send it 3 days ahead to my destination and I HAVE NOT RECEIVED any acknowledgment of my online inquiry which is why I am complaining. I’ve had to purchase a new set of luggage AND will have to pay for them on my next 2 legs on Delta. I apologise for seeming so harsh as I know you’ve had so much trouble because of the tornadoes, but this leg of my trip cost me an additional $800.00 plus AUD and I was here in the US to care for my father who recently had a 2nd heart attack and my final days in USA were meant to be a holiday, and all I can say is the stress because these expenses have removed any enjoyment (I know I’m looking at this half empty, not half full). I’m glad to share this and hope you’re company loses will be recouped after this mess! Daniel Grayson Craigieburn, VIC Australia”

Cons: “The redesign of seats means that very few of Delta’s planes can actually accommodate a sherpa-style pet carrier, even though they are an industry standard for in-cabin travel. Further complicating the problem is that the clearance under the seat varies depending where in the cabin you’re seated. It’s become an extremely stressful proposition for which I have the privilege of paying an extra +$100 each way whilst having to give up one of my carry ons. As far as I can see, the charge is just straight up greed, since no one would be able to use the space beneath the seat in front of me, anyway, and carrying on my cat cause zero extra work for the crew. I’m going to have rethink my loyalty to Delta. At least with Southwest, they’ll let me check two bags for no additional cost.”

Pros: “Service was great” Cons: “Food wasn’t great cookie!”

Pros: “While the seating is narrow, the seats are well appointed and seem roomier than they are. Each seat has 110V and usb ports and a back of the seat movie and entertainment screen. Very good for a short flight to Atlanta” Cons: “The 0.012 oz packet of tiny tiny pretzles”

Pros: “The flight crew was nice and polite. They served drinks and snacks in a timely manner while on the flight.” Cons: “Flight was scheduled to leave early, the plane arrived, but they couldn’t turn the plane around fast enough. We left the gat late, then pilot said we would still be arriving half an hour early. We arrived about 45 minutes late, and that was a problem because our connecting flight was due to depart now in 15 minutes. Lightning forced the airport to shutdown, which was great, we had a chance to catch our flight, but we were stuck in the airplane, and we couldn’t get to our gate until the all-clear. I know this is not Delta’s fault, but they did arrive quite late on a flight that, according to them, would be early. They also never communicated to the other flight that there were several passengers catching that connection. So by the time we had ran to catch our connection they had closed the ramp. Lightning hit again, and they shutdown the airport once again, so the airplane was still at the gate for about an hour, and they did not allow the 20+ passengers to board that plane, which was right there. So frustrating. The only thing that saved it was that our new flight was the new airbus, and although it left an hour and a half later, the comfort level was phenomenal.”

Cons: “The airplane was very cold, and our seats were screwed up. Gentleman at the gate was very helpful, and handled the problem the best he could.”

Pros: “Same as previous flight” Cons: “Same as previous flight.”

Pros: “Not much” Cons: “Not being delayed 3 hours”

Pros: “On time departure and early arrival. Crew was great.”

Pros: “Great crew”

Pros: “No. they put me in the middle of aisle seat. It is hard for me to get up for use the bath room.” Cons: “I am an old man also I have a bladder problem. They should assign my seat by the aisle so I can get up when I want to use the bath room. Also they are a lot of empty seats.”

Cons: “I don’t understand the concept of the ability to use your mobile device for entertainment, yet not having a power source to charge your device.”

Pros: “They pulled out of the gate to have an “on time” departure only to make us sit on the runway for an hour. The flight attendants were incredibly rude to people asking questions.” Cons: “Offered us drinks… let us know what was going on .. answered questions. Basically, anything.”

Pros: “the wi fi” Cons: “They give me the same seat that other passager has”

Pros: “I enjoyed everything!” Cons: “No complaints!”

Pros: “Boarding experience was excellent as we used a wheelchair.” Cons: “Nothing”

Pros: “Greets you nicely, on time, caring staffs”

Pros: “Courteous employee interactions from bag check/gate to arrival!” Cons: “Everything was truly GREAT”

Pros: “Crew was friendly” Cons: “Old plane, prezels are boring, it was cold during the flight”

Pros: “Crew was great…” Cons: “Nothing really off…just wish there were outlets for recharging devices. Thanks!”

Cons: “No other snack choice, just pretzel. Can we have some cookies?”

Pros: “The flight was on time, nice crew.” Cons: “Only pretzels and drink on a 2.5 hour flight.”

Cons: “Cabin pressure was not great!”

Cons: “Missed flight in DFW. All other flights full. Had to reroute thru Miami”

Cons: “Delay”

Pros: “Excellent passenger service. PSA consistency performs as best of regionals.”

Pros: “Left early and landed 20 minutes ahead of schedule. Only bad news was the gate which was on the tarmac and about a mile from the terminal. We needed the extra twenty minutes to reach the terminal on foot. We needed a shut!le!” Cons: “See above”

Pros: “I liked getting to my destination on time.” Cons: “The one carry-on policy was silly and included personal items. I was told to repack my purse into my backpack which was already full. The boarding staff stood over me and told me to throw stuff away in my backpack and asked why I had packed certain things. I am in the process of moving back to the US from Korea after two years so everything I had was everything I owned in the world – which included some sentimental things like a stuffed animal from my mother who passed away when I was three years old. The most infuriating part of this however was realizing that there was one other bag in my overhead bin. In fact most of the overhead bins had one to two bags and plenty of room. My repacking and humiliation was unnecessary and it was only for the morbid satisfaction of the lady at boarding demanding it. At one point I heard her talking with her coworkers about “why couldn’t they freaking listen. We announced it three times.” Well I had approached the counter prior to arrival and they told me to get back in line when I tried to ask about my purse and backpack. In additional to the frustration of all of that, I received my checked in luggage with a wheel missing. I had just bought it and now I have to ship a wheel from the vendor in South Korea or buy new luggage. Thank you guys so much for letting me know which airline to never fly with again.”

Pros: “Cookies they offered were vegan friendly.” Cons: “Had to sit in the very last row which didn’t recline.”

Pros: “Service” Cons: “Just little delay.”

Cons: “Dated plane. Business class seats did not have power outlets to charge mobile phone.”

Pros: “boarding process was efficient and the seats on this aircraft seemed a bit more comfortable” Cons: “lack of in-seat video and no free wi-fi and no power connections”

Cons: “No food, no entertainment, no room for luggage, no good.”

Pros: “Seat was pretty good, flight crew performed well.” Cons: “Left and landed over 2 hours late. Still, it took forever to board the flight. The cabin staff was unorganized and unpleasant.”

Pros: “free movies” Cons: “flight attendant was rude”

Pros: “The landing was great!” Cons: “Crew not very friendly but thats normal in AA”

Pros: “Fast, friendly service.” Cons: “N/A”

Pros: “Entertainment and crew” Cons: “Nothing”

Cons: “I did not like the head rest, very uncomfortable”

Cons: “This flight did not offer any firm of entertainment. Very old plane .”

Pros: “The entertainment was amazing” Cons: “We were delayed multiple times and landed extremely late”

Pros: “The flight and boarding process was smooth with no issues. The crew and pilots was the best!!!!” Cons: “Wish we had peanuts as an option for a snack.”

Pros: “All if the gate staff & on board staff that I interacted with were very friendly & efficient.” Cons: “Very tight/small & crowded waiting area.”

Pros: “the flight was on time” Cons: “the plane was small the plane was not comfortable”

Cons: “There was an incident on plane between passenger and flight attendant, where a drink was spilled on me and ruined my dress and shoes.”

Pros: “Price space, time” Cons: “Waiting.. but better to be early than late”

Pros: “Everything was pretty decent.. Best part was the price.. Boarding was good staff was good” Cons: “Wasn’t enough room.. kind of tight.. Couple more inches all around would have been perfect though”

Pros: “Went out of the way to help me make the flight. …..were both nice and helpful !!!”

Pros: “I like how very clean. flights attandant were all well dress and clear. They performed a wonderful safety demonstration.” Cons: “I did not like how plane was not on time; plane was late. American Airlines need to purchase a new plane.”

Pros: “LOWER PRICE, BUT NO FRILLS.” Cons: “SEATS FEEL FINE AT FIRST BUT AS THE TRIP WEARS ON THE SEATS GROW TO BE UNCOMFORTABLE.”

Pros: “I thought frontier was worst but american is not too far because american flight can not fly on time.”

Pros: “The planes people and service.”

Cons: “I missed my flight in Atlanta heading to LA on my way to Brisbane, Australia on Saturday 16th July. The ground staff wasn’t at all helpful in trying to get me on another flight and in fact sent me to Delta! The lady there couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Sadly I wasn’t compensated at all and had to pay to re-book the flights on the Sunday 17th. On my return from Brisbane, American Airlines had cancelled my flight to Atlanta as they said I was a ‘no show’ heading out. Thankfully I was able to get a seat on stand by. So, no I’m not a happy customer.”

Pros: “The Professionalism” Cons: “There is not nothing to say”
