Steve Graham Futaba 4PX 4-Channel 2.4GHz T-FHSS Radio System w/R304SB Receiver Couldnt agree more with the other review. Great radio, very happy with it. I noticed a difference as soon as I turned it on in terms of speed which does take some getting used to initially. It also has a good weight without being too light, its easy to adjust tension on the trigger and wheel, the screen is huge and easy to read even in the sun, and all of the settings are similar to older Futaba radios but have enhanced features/options. Another great part is that it will fit in your 4pks-r cases, I had the the 4pks-r and the 4px fits great in the case so I’d assume the 4pks case will work too. I definitely recommend getting a LIFE battery because it definitely uses up more power than the older radios, my 1600mah LIFE was drained after one race day. And my favorite feature specific to nitro, the RX battery level indicator, no more guessing how much life my receiver lipo has or having to take the lid off, but I believe you need the newer receivers for this feature to work. Over all very happy with the purchase, my 4pks was on the fritz, otherwise I wouldn’t have bought the 4px right away but now I am very happy I did.

It looks Great, Feels Great , It’s nice and light, THE screen !! what can I say ITS SICK ! easy to see great colors every thing u need to know is right there on the screen . what I think about the steering and throttle feel , throttle feel was a little more touchy then my Radio-Post ts401, but is Very Smooth !,by my 3rd lap it felt good , The Steering wheel was to Stiff for me. So I used the tools that they give you to soften the feel of the wheel, after that it was great . I Believe This Is the last radio your ever going to Own ,, I don’t know what else Futaba can do to make this any better? Futaba has out did them self’s on this Awesome Radio ! great job to the Team who designed the 4PX !!
FYI Guys ! There are so many setting’s that it’s going to take me hours to Read the manual and learn all the setting on the 4px this new 4px is an all around radio , if your a hard core racer or just a Club racer that wants to take it to the next level. Also if your a Crawler or U4rc Person you will LOve there settings on here !!!, also the on road guys I feel like you will enjoys there steering settings because we all know on road guys like there steering lol

How to link the transmitter and the receiver
Each transmitter has an individually assigned, unique ID code. In order to start opera-
tion, the receiver must be linked with the ID code of the transmitter to which it is being
paired. Once the link is made, the ID code is stored in the receiver and no further link-
ing is necessary unless the receiver needs to be used with another transmitter.
Link procedure

Bring the transmitter and the receiver close to each

Turn on the transmitter.

Turn on the receiver.

Push the tactile switch of the receiver.
When the link is complete, the LED in the receiver
changes to solid green.
Precaution:
receiver might not link to your transmitter. In this case, even if the receiver’s LED stays solid green, un-
fortunately the receiver might have established a link to one of other transmitters. This is very dangerous
if you do not notice this situation. In order to avoid the problem, we strongly recommend you to double-
check whether your receiver is really under control by your transmitter by giving the stick input and then
checking the servo response.
Warning
After the linking is done, please cycle receiver power and check if the receiver to be linked is really
under the control of your transmitter.
Do not perform the linking procedure with motor’s main wire connected or the engine operating as
