Many people have asked me how they can change the battery in their Hyundai car key, so I thought it would be a good idea to write a blog post about this topic. The procedure is really easy and takes less than 15 minutes, but you need to make sure that you have all of the right tools beforehand.

Required Tools:

A New CR2032 (3V) Battery. Flat Screwdriver.

Now, that you are ready, let’s the key battery change on your Hyundai.

Step-01: The first step is removing this emergency blade. Ensure that the slider has been slid out of place and then take out the bladder- it’s what we use to open your car if you forget to charge up your key battery, or if these buttons stop working. You’ll need a way in.

Step-02: The key is split into two all the way around, and you need to use this insert here that’s not on the blade hole. It’s in a little accommodating slot right next to it.
