Socks are usually a trans* guy’s first packer. They are ubiquitous, cheap, and don’t have to be bought online or in a sex toy/specialty store. While they are significantly less likely than a packer to pass the “squeeze test,” visually they can provide just as realistic a bulge. In fact, it is much easier to adjust the size of your bulge with socks (so you can decrease your chances of looking like you have an erection). Here are a couple of strategies for packing with socks:

Step One: Select Your Socks

When it comes to packing, my philosophy is to think of it as adding just a little extra padding. If you check out the crotches of other men (preferably without staring, unless you’re in a situation where that is invited), you’ll notice how little you can notice. Check out pictures of guys online (like pictures of guy’s in ads for jeans) and take a close look, you can usually see very little of their junk. Really the trick is to make sure your pants don’t sag awkwardly or cave in around your nether regions, not to create an enormous bulge. Some guys do prefer a bigger bulge, and that’s fine, but it’s probably a good idea to start small and work up from there. So, grab a sock, preferably a small, single sock. It should be clean, not something you wore the day before.

Step Two: Fold Your Sock, Twist it, or Generally Get it Into the Shape You Want

Remember, when you look at a man’s crotch, you generally do not see a figure there that is clearly recognizable as a penis. In fact, it is more socially acceptable to keep things down there pretty discrete. Because of this, you don’t need to really worry about shaping your sock into something phallic, but if you’d like to do so you can. But for this tutorial, you can just fold it in half.

Step 3: Open Up the Fly Opening of Your Briefs or Boxer Briefs

Okay, so this step really only applies to be people who wear briefs or boxer briefs with a y-front opening or pouch. Those who wear boxers may want to wear a jock strap of some sort underneath or sew themselves some sort of pouch to attach to their underwear. Anyway, if you already wear briefs or boxer briefs, the front opening is often a great place to stash a packer. Since socks are a little lighter than other packers, they are more likely to stay put (although I do know of people who stash their packers in their underwear using this method). Keeping things in this pouch keeps the sock from actually touching your body (for the most part) and potentially irritating your skin or spreading germs (although, again, use a clean sock).

Step Four: Stuff Your Underwear

This is pretty self-explanatory. It may take some adjusting, but you should lie the sock along the front pouch in a way that feels comfortable for you. It’s a good idea to make sure that things don’t bunch too much, think of it as lining your underwear. You may find you need to fold the sock over once again to get things to fit or twist things a little bit. After you put your pants on, you may want to add another sock if you think things still look unsatisfactory.

You may be tempted to go overboard and use three or more socks. Again, it’s up to you, but this will produce a pretty unusually large bulge. Figure out what works best for you and feel free to continue to adjust until you’re comfortable. One of the great things about packing with socks is that you can easily change things as you figure out what you like best.

How To Wear A Packer

By: Aaron Capener

A good friend of mine mentioned an excellent piece of advice to someone who is new to learning how to wear a packer. “Your packer should never enter a room before you do.”

Everybody is different when it comes to how big they like their bulge to be. The key is to find something that enhances how you feel. This article is about how different positions affect your bulge. It also touches on the options you have to keep your packers in place. Lastly, we cover how the size of your packer affects things.

Positioning

You’d think it’d be as easy as slapping your packer in your packer boxers and walking out the door. But when you are still learning how to wear a packer it can be more complicated than you think.

When choosing where to position your packer, something you should keep in mind is how visible you want your bulge. Some people wear packers so they are the only people who know it’s there. Others like other people to be able to notice it.

One of the key features is where you position your packer on your body. For those wanting a more noticeable projection, you’ll want to keep the packer higher on your pelvic bone. This will make sure your bulge is visible when you turn to the side. If you’re looking for the least amount of bulge, try dropping the position lower on your pelvic bone. The closer your packer is to your inner thighs, the less noticeable it will be to others.

This is also great to know if you are wearing an STP. As STPs are generally harder than soft packers, they can be trickier to hide. This sometimes makes it look like you have a 24/7 boner. Even guys who want their bulge to show, don’t generally want this to happen. You can reduce the boner-effect, by pushing your STP to lower down in your pants.

Once you’ve decided where you want to place your packer, there are two main “poses” for your packer.

Packing Up

Packing up means that you position the shaft of your packer so that it runs along one of your hip flexors. Cis guys – and tailors in particular – will refer to this as either “dressing left” or “dressing right.” If you ever have a suit tailored, your tailor might ask you which you prefer. This is so that they can create a little extra breathing room for your member.

Whether you dress left or right is a matter of personal taste. Either way, packing up will reduce the appearance of the size of your bulge. If you like packing big, but don’t want an obscene bulge, this is a great option for you. Also, many STPs, such as the Sam, are designed to pack up

There is a major disadvantage to this method, however. Tight, thin pants might create a very detailed view of your shaft and head. If you’re a dancer and have to wear tights on a regular basis, this is probably not going to be your best position. Competitive swimmers and speedo-wearers should also stay away from this pose.

Packing Down

Packing down means that you position the shaft of your packer so that it rests straight down over the ball sac. Positioned like this, even the smallest Mr. Limpy size will create a pretty decent bulge.

There’s Only One You

When learning how to wear a packer, you need to remember that every person’s body is different and different people want different looks. Some people think they want a giant bulge, but then realize how uncomfortable it can be to wear all day every day with a 6-inch member in their pants. Some bigger guys might want to pack big because it feels more in proportion with the rest of their body. Of course, the opposite goes for smaller guys. Guys under the age of 13, will want to choose a packer like the Archer Youth, as a giant bulge will look very out of place.

It all comes down to trial and error. Most guys will want to start with a 5-inch packer and play around with it. See how it feels, and determine if you want to go bigger or smaller. Get in front of the mirror and try different things to see what is most comfortable for you!

Keeping Your Packer In Place

Unless you’re wearing a speedo, throughout your day you might experience your packer shifting around a bit. Don’t worry! Even cis-gender males experience the discomfort of their own phallus moving around. However, we have a few options to keep your packer where it needs to be. There are a variety of harnesses on the market. The Multi-color Packer Harness is a great option for people who want to pack every day, but don’t own an entire drawer of packer underwear.

Some people find it more comfortable with a simple jockstrap, like the Jockmail, under their underwear. Speaking of underwear we’ve got boxers with zipper pouches as well as briefs with special pouches that comes with a foam pad that can give you a bulge without a phallus.

Size Matters

There a limiting belief that the bigger you pack the more of a “man” you are. I struggled with this when I was first learning how to wear a packer. I wanted to order a phallus that was at least 6″ long just so I could feel more “manly”. But the fact of the matter was, it didn’t matter what other people thought, it was more about how I felt.

Mentally, my dysphoria is more at ease when I’m packing with a smaller packer then with a giant one in my pants. Mind you, some guys want other people to notice it and depend on that to avoid being misgendered. If that is the case, then you will definitely want something on the bigger side like this Mr. Limpy. If you are trying to be discreet, you’ll want to look into something like the Archer that’s a little smaller.

All in all, it’s about how you feel. When you first are learning how to wear a packer, it’ll be about experimenting. Test different options and try new things to find out what feels right to you. There’s not a cure-all to tell you exactly how to pack, but there are tips like these that will help point you in the right direction. At the end of the day, remember who you are. Stay true to what you believe. And know you are wonderful.

How to pack ftm with socks | DIY Packer

Wondering where to get cheap FTM packers from? Try making a homemade packer! We have some DIY ideas, which will, hopefully, help you get crafty.

Wondering where to get a cheap FTM packer? DIY packers FTM can be a great solution when you’re on a budget, haven’t come out yet, having issues ordering online, or simply if you love crafts. Learning how to make a packer FTM is easy and it won’t take a lot of your time. The best part – it won’t cost you a fortune! So get crafty, since this article is going to help you to make a DIY packer FTM.

HOW TO MAKE A PACKER WITH SOCKS FTM?

A sock packer is a super cheap & easy solution that anyone can make at home! All you’re going to need are:

– Socks

– Some plush filling

– A thread

– A needle

– Scissors

So, how to pack with socks? It’s easier to learn by using visuals, so check out this video tutorial on how to make a homemade packer FTM:

Begin by bending your sock in a half vertically, then sew downwards from the tip (start from the toe part and move towards the opening of the sock) forming a cylinder shape, which is going to be a shaft of the packer. Once you’re finished sewing, don’t forget to tie the loose ends, so it’s nice and firm. The next step would be to turn it inside out and to fill the shaft with some plush material. Don’t overfill it, since the shaft is going to be too rigid and it won’t look realistic when packing. Now, you’re going to form testicles by filling the foam to the very top and sewing a line right through the middle. Make sure there are no loose corners, and then make a tight knot from the remaining thread. Voilà! You just made an FTM sock packer.

DIY packers have many benefits, unfortunately, you should have in mind that it won’t look realistic at all. The shape and the size might look somewhat similar, but it’s still going to be socks sewed to form a penis shape. Additionally, it won’t necessarily feel comfy when wearing (depends on the material and shape) and it’s hard to keep it in place throughout the day as well.

CHEAP FTM PACKERS: DIY PACKER MADE FROM FABRIC

If you’re willing to put more effort into the packer-making process, here’s another tutorial on how to make a packer FTM.

What you’re going to need for your homemade packer?

– A sheet of paper for the pattern making

– A fabric (double the size of the sheet of paper)

– A pantyhose

– Plush filling

– A thread & a needle

– Scissors

– A pencil

Begin by preparing the pattern – draw a half of phallus, cut it out of the paper, then put the pattern of the material folded in half and cut the shape out. Sew the edges, starting from the bottom, moving towards the shaft. Finally, the tip should be a little folded and sewn around. Pull both threads together and tie them firmly and cut the material around. Now all you need to do is to turn the fabric inside out and that’s it – you have a form for the shaft. To finish your FTM DIY packer, you need to add filling and attach testicles that are relevantly easy to make. Form two balls from the plush filling, put them into the pantyhose and make a knot in between. Then fill the other side with filling and make another knot. Finally, put the pantyhose with the fillings inside of the material that you made in the beginning and sew it all together. For a more detailed description, see the original tutorial – DIY packer from fabric.

HOMEMADE STP DEVICE

A homemade STP device might be difficult to make in comparison with other types of packers since it must be comfortable and functional when “nature calls”. The easiest and most practical way to make a DIY packer, suitable for STP function, is by modifying a medical spoon. Medical spoons are available at drugstores and cost only a few dollars, so it’s very accessible for almost anyone.

So, how to make a packer STP device? You’re going to need:

– A medical spoon

– Knife/ razor blade/ a drill

– Marker

– Lighter

– Molding material (optional)

Start by making a hole at the end of the medical spoon handle. The end of the tube is usually closed, so you’ll need to mark the exact part that you’re going to remove. Then, drill a hole with a drill or slice off the marked tip of the handle using either a knife or a razor blade. To make things easier, use a lighter and heat the plastic up in order to make it softer. The lighter can be handy when eliminating sharp edges as well. You can form the tip from molding material – the tip should look like a rounded cone. Or, you can use rubber and other similar material to form the tip. And now you’ve learned how to make a packer!

If it’s your very first STP device, try practicing at home. The best place for this is a bathtub or a shower, in this way if anything drips or leaks, you’ll wash it off instantly. Want to know more about how to make a homemade STP device? Learn more here!

Note that DIY STP devices won’t serve as effectively as bought STP. STP’s made by Emisil feels like a natural part of your body and not just a prosthetic or accessory. Emisil will exceed your expectations, so why not try it out?

DIY PACKING HARNESS

Now that you’ve learned how to make a packer, you’ll need a harness to keep it in place throughout the day. What about DIY packing harnesses? You can make a packing harness from materials that you’re going to find at home, such as elastic bands or old boxers. When making a packing harness from elastic bands, you’ll need to measure yourself, then, according to these measurements, you’ll choose a reasonable amount of elastic fabric. Sew both ends of the elastic band (it will be your waistband) and sew the part that will support your packer. It should look something like this:

We’ve covered this topic in our blog post on packing tips, so if you want to learn more, see this packer harness DIY tutorial.

DIY PACKING UNDERWEAR

Since we’re talking about DIY FTM products… Why not make DIY packing underwear? The easiest and fastest way to make packing underwear is using an old pair of boxers and adding a pouch to secure the packer into a place.

Step 1 – Find boxers that you would like to use for packing. Make sure it fits you perfectly.

Step 2 – Find a piece of material, measure it according to your packer size and cut it out.

Step 3 – The piece of fabric should be positioned on the boxers according to your anatomy. You can pack lower or higher, the most important aspect – a packer should look natural.

Step 4 – Sew a piece of fabric on the inner side of the underwear. It should look somewhat like a pocket.

Step 5 – Show off with your new DIY packing underwear!

Surely, you can try other tutorials that will help you to make packing underwear. Check out this educational and witty video from MackMan and make an amazing pair of packing underwear!

ARE DIY PACKERS WORTH THE EFFORT?

Yes, it’s a great option if you don’t have any other choices. It’s inexpensive, in some cases you can even make a free FTM packer at home without too much effort. However, it takes too much time & effort for something that doesn’t look real. Additionally, since it’s very cheap and made from primitive materials – it won’t last. So you’ll have to make a new one from time to time. What if your packer will tear right before going out? Or during some important event? What about being intimate with someone, feeling assured and confident, no matter what? If you want to leave anxiety and body dysphoria in the past, you need something more than a piece of fabric.

We are Emisil, and our main goal is to make you feel more like yourself & happy!
