Insignia/Toshiba Fire TV: How to Switch Inputs
It was a little difficult for me to figure out how to switch inputs on the Insignia / Toshiba TVs with built in Fire TV. I must’ve spent a half-hour trying to find the option. Maybe you’ve found this page for the same reason. Hopefully, it will help you get there faster.
Method 1 – Switch Inputs Using Home Button
From any screen, press and hold the “Home” button. A menu will appear on the right side of the screen where you can select the “Inputs“.
From there, choose which input you would like to switch to.
That’s it! Just press and hold Home from the Home screen does it!
Method 2 – Switch Inputs From Settings
From the Home screen, select “Settings” ⚙️. Choose “Inputs“.
Arrow left or right then select the input you wish to switch to.
The “Settings” > “Inputs” screen provides additional features where you can change the name of the inputs. Just press ☰ while on the screen to display the additional options.
Note that there is no input to get to the Fire TV interface. To get there, press the “Home” button on your remote.
