How to Open Internet Explorer in Windows 8/8.1 Mode / Desktop Mode
STEPS
======
1. Open Internet Explorer and go to \”Tools\” and open \”Internet Options\”. Go to \”Programs\” tab
2. Under \”Opening Internet Explorer\” click on \”Make Internet the Default Browser\”
3. In Set Default Programs window, select IE and click on \”Set this program as default\”
4. Again open Internet Explorer and go to \”Tools\” and open \”Internet Options\”. Go to \”Programs\” tab. Under choose how you open link, select \”Let IE decide\”.
5. Finally, IE will open in Windows 8 / 8.1 Mode.

Windows 8 Reset Internet Explorer
How to reset IE settings on Windows 8. To get to Control Panel, Press Windows + I buttons at the same time. Select Control Panel. Change Viewby to Large Icons. Select Internet Options and follow the steps.

Today i just randomly thought to use IE11 but i noticed that i was’nt opening in windows 8 app mode .So I tried to fix it by making some changes in the internet settings in IE11 but it did’nt work so i researched and found this fix which worked for me . I hope this also works for you.
