Is Genshin Impact best game ever?

Genshin Impact is one of the most successful gacha games in recent years, leading many fans to declare it as one of the best gacha games, period. Everybody has their tastes on which title should be considered the best gacha game.

Anime Click and Drag Games

Genshin Impact is one of the most successful gacha games in recent years, leading many fans to call it one of the best gacha games, period.

Everyone has their own taste as to which title should be considered the best gacha game. However, Genshin Impact is one of the frontrunners in this topic of discussion simply because of all the things it does right. It has its flaws, of course, but its positives far outweigh its negatives.

Genshin Impact is still considered a young gacha game, so there are still many years to grow and thrive, further cementing its status as one of the best gacha games of all time. While things could always change for the worse, recent Genshin Impact updates seem to indicate that this titan won’t be toppled any time soon.

Five reasons why Genshin Impact is such a good gacha game

5) Constantly new, innovative updates

Midsummer Island Adventure seems exciting (Image via Genshin Impact)

Many gacha games begin by releasing the bare essentials to placate their fanbase. However, Genshin Impact goes well beyond just how diverse their updates are. Some updates stay in the game for many years, others only for a short time.

Something like Windtrace is drastically different from the upcoming Midsummer Island Adventure, and that’s just a small example of how Genshin Impact is constantly introducing new content.

Other gacha games have a few set activities where they just introduce a new character and that’s it. Apart from stronger enemies, hardly anything new is added, which makes a game like Genshin Impact so refreshing.

4) Not so obvious in the microtransactions department

One of the biggest problems with gacha games is how obvious they are about their greed. Genshin Impact is not a 100% free game, but players can play it for free without being hit by ads every few seconds.

Many gamers are put off by the idea of seeing ads all over their games, especially when they clutter up a significant portion of their screen. Luckily, Genshin Impact isn’t as flashy with its microtransactions.

They exist, but players generally have to make every effort to buy them. Unsurprisingly, Genshin Impact is one of the most profitable gacha games, which is one of the reasons why it’s not just an open money heist. The overall gameplay is still simple and exciting enough to entice F2P players.

3) Excellent ports

The PS5 port is pretty good (Image via Genshin Impact)

Most gacha games are only available on mobile devices. However, Genshin Impact has several great ports that have won the hearts of many players. The PC port is excellent, which is surprising considering most mobile games tend not to transition that well into this type of market.

Likewise, the PlayStation 5 port is also exceptionally well done. The graphics on several of these platforms are amazing for a mobile game, and the fact that it was released on September 28th, 2020 for iOS, Android, Windows and PC is simply outstanding.

Sometimes other ports are just blatant money-makers in the video game industry. The fact that Genshin Impact has a growing community across all of these platforms is undoubtedly a sign of how great it is as a gacha game.

2) Memorable characters

Beidou and Ningguang, just two great characters from a memorable cast (Image via Genshin Impact)

Some gacha games have memorable characters that players only collect when overwhelmed. While a few Genshin Impact players play strictly from an efficiency standpoint, many genuinely enjoy the zany adventures and lore associated with the characters in the game.

These characters also have great designs, making them iconic compared to the many lazy inspired gacha designs that can be found in the mobile market. These characters may not be famous from another series, but it also shows how awesome these original characters are.

Genshin Impact is constantly introducing new playable characters that have fallen in the hearts of millions of players. It’s not surprising that the game has as much fan art as it currently has.

1) Great gameplay

The most important part of any game is its gameplay. Without good gameplay, a video game is often derided by online communities. This in turn leads to poor sales and poor public reception. Luckily for Genshin Impact, it’s a great game.

The opposite is true. Great games tend to sell well, and Genshin Impact regularly tops mobile games in terms of revenue. That’s unlikely to change any time soon, as miHoYo is constantly rolling out new updates that help keep the gameplay feeling fresh.

Other gacha games sometimes feel repetitive and lifeless. While there is Impact Grinding in Genshin, the sheer amount of content in the game makes it difficult to call it “boring”.

Does Genshin Impact pay to win?

Genshin Impact is not a pay-to-win game, which means that players can enjoy it without spending any real-life money.

Anime Click and Drag Games

Genshin Impact has raked in over $3 billion in mobile revenue alone and is clearly raking in big bucks for developer HoYoverse, which has recently turned its attention to other projects, from new games to massive technology investments.

The game’s financial success stems from its gacha system – a gambling pool that encourages players to spend real money on draws. Each draw gives players the chance to earn a coveted five-star character or weapon that will be heavily marketed ahead of release to create cravings. New units are coming into the pool for a limited time to provide a sense of urgency: draw now or wait months for your favorite character to rerun.

With the ability to further improve characters and weapons by acquiring multiple copies, players are even more compelled to spend money to be the best. But despite this conflicting monetization strategy, the gacha model isn’t always pay-to-win. It all boils down to implementation, raising the question of whether Genshin Impact has managed to create a model that is free for players under its expensive banners.

Can you play Genshin Impact without spending any money?

Genshin Impact is not a pay-to-win game, which means players can enjoy it without spending any real money. The main reason is that Genshin doesn’t have a PvP system – a game mode that encourages the character meta to move quickly, pushing players to the brink of financial competition. Additionally, Genshin Impact’s character pool is balanced, allowing players to choose characters they like, removing the pressure of drawing for specific units.

While getting copies of characters and weapons improves their abilities, it’s entirely optional. Competing players might feel compelled to shell out cash for these copies, but the reality is that without constellations or refinements, the gameplay won’t suffer.

How can free players search for characters in Genshin Impact?

All characters and weapons can be drawn with a premium currency called Primogems, which are available for free through codes, events, and general gameplay rewards. In a month running only Daily Commissions, players can earn around 1,800 Primogems – enough for 11 turns in the gacha. Plenty of events and content keep the Primogem supply going.

Since new banner releases are announced in advance, players have plenty of time to save up for them. A pity system has also been introduced for characters and weapons, allowing players to calculate the exact number of Primogems they need for a guaranteed turn.

Do you pay for cosmetics in Genshin Impact?

Unfortunately, players in Genshin Impact have to pay for cosmetics. Outfits can be purchased in the shop using Genesis Crystals – a currency that can only be purchased with real money. On the plus side, the Blessing of the Welkin Moon, a $5 per month subscription, grants a bonus of 300 Genesis Crystals in addition to a daily Primogem payout. Since Genshin Impact rarely releases cosmetics, it’s possible to save up for an outfit at some point by regularly purchasing the Welkin Moon every month.

Also, only five-star character outfits cost Genesis Crystals. While four-star outfits can also be purchased with this currency, they are available for free by participating in events.

How do you drag click?

Position your index (left mouse button) and middle finger (right mouse button) over the upper edge of the mouse button. To drag click, simply flick your wrist slightly at an angle while gently pressing the mouse button in a downward direction (towards the front of the mouse).

Anime Click and Drag Games

Looking for information about drag and click and how it works? If you’re reading this, you’ve probably heard about how clicking the mouse in this way can give you an edge in certain games where high CPS (clicks per second) can be beneficial – Minecraft, Roblox, Clicker Heroes etc How exactly is that?

In this quick guide, we’ll go over everything you need to know about mouse clicking, including how it works, how to do it, possible downsides, and whether it’s actually worth doing it. Only then can you decide if you want to start using it in your gaming sessions.

Let’s get straight to the point!

What is drag clicking?

What is drag-click you ask? Well, it’s exactly what it sounds like – forcefully drag your finger across a mouse button (left or right) to “trick” it into recording more clicks. Other people might call it different things like fazer-tap or tap-click, but it works the same way.

How does tapping click increase your CPS, you ask? Well, dragging and clicking takes advantage of the friction between the mouse button and your skin as you move your finger quickly across the surface. This friction creates vibrations that are picked up by the mouse switch, registering more clicks than would normally be possible.

How do I draw click?

Based on the description above, you might think that tapping click is a relatively simple process. However, there is more to it than just dragging/sliding your finger over a mouse button. It takes practice, but more importantly, some mouse devices work and tolerate drag-clicking better than others.

If you’re serious about typing, then you might want to check out our guide on the best mouse for mouse clicking. You’ll find that these mice differ in terms of design and price, but there are two qualities to look for – a matte, non-slip finish (to make drag-clicks easier) and quality mouse switches (Omron, Kailh, or Opticals) to better withstand the stress of pulling when clicking. You cannot use just any mouse, it must be one that has been tested beforehand.

How do you become a pro at drag clicking?

First, make sure your hands are dry and the surface of your mouse is clean. Sweat and dust can affect friction when you drag your finger over the mouse button. Hold the mouse normally, with your thumb supporting the left side of the mouse and your ring finger/pinky finger gripping the right side. Position your index (left mouse button) and middle finger (right mouse button) over the top edge of the mouse button. To click, simply tilt your wrist slightly while gently pressing the mouse button down (toward the front of the mouse). Don’t press too hard and just slide your finger through the button. You’ll know you’re doing it right when you start hearing a “grinding noise.” You will also feel a slight vibration when you move your finger over the mouse button. To verify that your drag clicks are actually working, you can use an online tool like https://www.rapidtables.com/tools/click-counter.html. It’s free to use and you don’t need to download anything to your computer.

Materials you can use to improve drag-on-click

Drag-on-click is all about utilizing the friction between your fingers and the mouse buttons. There is some friction of course but if you can use different types of bands to increase that friction and make it a lot easier to learn the ropes.

Electrical tape is a great option, especially since you probably have some lying around the house. Cut small patches from it and stick it on your mouse buttons. It’s not the fanciest accessory in the world, but it should do wonders for your CPS.

However, if you have some cash to toss around and want to make sure you’re getting the most out of your mouse, there’s a second option as well. Razer is a unique technology maker that makes virtually anything you can imagine. They even made an RGB mask, so it’s only fitting that they were the company that came out with their own proprietary tape. Razer has a custom texture on the band designed to provide the greatest possible friction. Not only will it give you a good grip on the mouse, it will also drastically improve your CPS.

How does clicking help with dragging?

Click dragging is a somewhat controversial topic for many people, especially those who play Minecraft competitively. Some would argue that drag clicking doesn’t make much of a difference in Minecraft. Finally, there are other factors in PVP – weapons, positioning, etc. If you’re reading this, it’s probably because you believe that learning how to pull clicks will give you a competitive edge.

Consider that the average player has a CPS of 6.51. If you’re really good at it, your CPS could be closer to 14.1 (the world record, according to Google). However, with drag-click it is possible to increase this number even further (32+CPS).

A Youtuber with the channel name “Intel Edits” posted a video demonstrating the effects of higher CPS in Minecraft PVP. He pitted bots with different CPS configurations against each other.

As you will see in the video above, a higher CPS allows you to land more hits while taking less recoil damage. This might seem obvious at first glance, but as it turns out, this benefit has its limitations. In particular, it was found that there wasn’t much of a difference between a 20 CPS bot and a 1000 CPS bot.

Of course, remember that higher CPS isn’t the only thing that matters in Minecraft PVP. Therefore, your mileage will certainly vary. For example, learning how to strafe in Minecraft PVP is also important – a sideways movement/evasive movement that makes it harder for opponents to land a solid hit on you.

Are there any downsides to mouse clicking?

At this point you now have a good idea of what drag-click is and how it’s done. However, before you try it, there are a few cons to consider:

Typing clicks puts a lot of strain on mouse switches, which shortens their lifespan significantly.

Some Minecraft servers discourage drag clicks as an unfair advantage and ban players for doing so – Hypixel, SaicoPVP, Mineplex, etc. Before trying to implement the strategy, check if the server you’re playing on allows tapping or doesn’t specifically prohibit it The exercise.

What kind of mouse do you need for mouse clicking?

Mouse click dragging is an incredible job for your mouse as we mentioned above. You can’t just use any mouse without risking significantly reducing its lifespan. You need a mouse that does two things. First, it should have textured buttons to make it easier to click while dragging. Second, the switches should be able to withstand the physical attack of pulling and clicking.

If you are looking for a mouse just for this purpose, we can warmly recommend the Roccat Kone AIMO. The updated version of this mouse is extremely popular with professional Minecraft PVP players who use drag-click almost every day.

If you’re not a fan of the Kone AIMO, you can take a look at our best mouse for drag-click guide to find some of the best hardware pieces out there to maximize your CPS.

Conclusion

So there you have it – everything you need to know about mouse clicking and what it’s all about! The next step is to practice and test if it actually makes a difference in your gaming sessions. As with anything else, it’s important to do it in moderation and be aware of the risks.

Is Genshin Impact losing popularity?

Genshin Impact is still doing incredibly well, but yes and no. The game is still having new people join, but you will find that many long-time players will take a break during the slower patches, which gives the illusion of a falling player base.

Anime Click and Drag Games

Genshin Impact is one of the most groundbreaking free-to-play games in recent history. When it launched it presented an open world full of stories and colorful characters and has been updated about every six weeks since then. Is Genshin Impact still running as strong as it started, or has the game started to shrink?

Is Genshin Impact losing players?

Genshin Impact is still doing incredibly well, but yes and no. New people are still coming to the game, but you’ll find that many long-time players take a break during the slower patches, giving the illusion of a declining player base. It can also be a bit difficult to gauge as the single player aspect of the game doesn’t allow you to see a hub full of players.

One of the best ways to gauge the state of the game is to look at Genshin Lab’s revenue chart, which shows that the fanbase is very active. Raiden Shogun is the best-selling banner, showing that more players stopped by at the height of Inazuma.

Genshin’s player base usually increases when major content like Inazuma is added, and generally gains more players than ever before. You see that in all live service games. For example, Final Fantasy 14 had such a massive surge with the release of Endwalker that people couldn’t log in for hours.

Genshin Impact is now a stable game, and players will always come and go. Importantly, it still makes an incredible amount of money. You can always see the game floating at the top of the App Store, and when you go to things like conventions, the Genshin Impact cosplay now dominates the bottom. Of course, we can’t gauge Genshin’s true growth or decline until HoYoverse officially releases player data.

Why is Genshin so addictive?

A rather obvious reason for the game’s addictive nature is how easy the game is to access. The fact that Genshin Impact is free to play, rated 12 meaning that players below this age can play with consent from a guardian and available on all major gaming platforms makes it so accessible worldwide.

Anime Click and Drag Games

To combat our addiction to Genshin Impact, it’s important to understand what makes the game so addictive. Mostly addictive video game features follow the same principle only used by the developers in a more unique way. In this case we will identify the most addictive features so that you can recognize them in this game and in gaming in general.

escapism

A common addictive trait of RPGs in particular is their ability to immerse the player in a fantasy world. Those who are addicted to video games often use video games to escape negative problems they might be dealing with in the real world. Be it financial problems, problems at work, anxiety or relationships etc. Gaming can often serve to distract our minds from the real world.

In the vast land that Genshin Impact has to explore and characters to play with, it’s easy to see how addictive players can become. Often within the game, a small clue can lead to a chain reaction of multi-level events like puzzles and bosses that take the player on a much longer journey than intended.

loot boxes

Purchasing loot crates in Genshin Impact is arguably the most addictive part of the game, and many people have complained about the ethics of using them. Loot boxes in Genshin Impact use what is known as the gacha system, which takes its name from toy vending machines in Japan. The system essentially follows free-to-play gameplay, with in-game upgrades and improvements left to chance in the form of loot boxes called “Wishes” and mostly purchased with real money.

Although this system started in Japan, it spread across Eastern gaming culture to popular gaming hotspots like South Korea and China. Eventually it makes its way onto the western gaming scene that many of us are familiar with. Titles like CSGO follow the same gacha system and are vetted in exactly the same way; Relation of the system to gambling. While the system isn’t technically gambling, buying crates that randomize your in-game items bears an uncanny resemblance to it.

How does this affect addiction? As players progress in the game, more experience (XP) is required to level up, which means you’ll need some equipment upgrades if you want to spend less time grinding. Namely better weapons and characters to kill bosses and enemies faster. However, the most efficient way to acquire these is of course by purchasing loot boxes. Grinding other additional in-game currencies to buy “Wishes” is essentially counter-intuitive to the quality of life changes they seek, as players want to make the grind easier and progress.

This system only leads to people investing more time in the game to enjoy their newly purchased gear and the odd character to save up for more loot boxes. However, parting with money for the game also plays a role in the Sunken Cost Fallacy, a cognitive bias that drives us to play video games.

When we invest resources in something, we tend to place greater value on it. Those resources in the case of Genshin Impact are typically time and money. When players invest hundreds of dollars in the game for the best loot, it subconsciously strengthens their bond with the game. Giving up the game from this point becomes even more difficult as the player’s brain tells them that their time and money would have been wasted.

Typically, this triggers an emotional response from the player and leads to less-rational decisions, such as: B. investing more time and money into the game to maintain and increase its value. From an outside perspective, we understand this is wrong, but for the addicted gamer, this can be a powerful connection.

Popular Twitch streamer Daphne “39daph” railed and tweeted about it, explaining that for someone who spent a few hundred bucks in MMOs as a teenager, looking back at the sunk costs feels bad, it’s the same with Genshin influence.

Low barrier to entry

A fairly obvious reason for the game’s addictive nature is how easily accessible the game is. The fact that Genshin Impact is free to play, rated 12 meaning players under that age can play with parental consent and available on all major gaming platforms makes it so accessible worldwide.

Another thing to note is that the game is available on mobile, which adds another layer to the addiction. Addiction to mobile games can be extremely debilitating as almost everyone has a smartphone these days and it is almost always with us. Mobile gaming addiction often massively impacts productivity, social life and other aspects of their ability to function based solely on how much time they spend gaming on the phone and neglecting important responsibilities.

Measurable growth

By nature, people love to feel accomplished and to see progress. This ingrained desire to succeed is reflected in our progress as a society and in how we honor and commend those who have overcome difficult tasks. Most of the time gamers get addicted to video games because they get a sense of accomplishment when they do well.

Gaming constantly bombards players with in-game rewards for completing challenges that ultimately never end. This cycle of challenge and reward leaves the player wanting more, which often discourages them from achieving things outside of the game. Why would anyone study for months to do well on an exam when an hour of sharpening could get them the new sword they’ve always wanted.

Because of this, there have been many connections to video games and depression. Gaming can often quell negative emotions and improve feelings of hopelessness by giving someone instant gratification and achievement. However, someone who is addicted to video games can only make their addiction worse by neglecting other responsibilities and opportunities in life for gaming. Sometimes, realizing that gaming is the only thing they have invested time in leads to playing more video games to eliminate feelings of hopelessness and sadness.

Additionally, playing Genshin Impact requires skill and a learning curve that needs to be worked on. Players must master combat mechanics, build and learn to combine characters to optimize their damage in battle against different enemies. Giving players something to work towards in order to master a skill contributes to that sense of measurable growth and gain and drives the individual to play more.

How popular is Genshin in Japan?

Japan accounts for nearly one-third of Genshin’s revenue, even though play time and downloads have — on mobile at least — lagged behind those of top homemade games in the country.

MiHoYo declined several interview requests, citing his executives’ busy schedules.

Mr. Futatsugi, the Japanese game developer, is among the beneficiaries when Chinese companies look abroad. In 2021 he received a significant investment from NetEase that gave him more freedom to express himself artistically.

“There aren’t any companies in Japan that give us the money to make the kind of games we want to make,” he said, adding that “Chinese companies are the ones who see the value of our company the most. It doesn’t hurt that he gets to keep 100 percent of the intellectual property of the company.

Mr. Futatsugi says the biggest threat to Japan’s video game industry doesn’t come from China. Instead, he gets to the heart of the problem in Japan itself, pointing to the aging population and shrinking market, licensing deals that keep profits away from creators, and conservative companies’ reluctance to embrace new ideas.

But industry analysts warn that the cash injection will divert talent from top Japanese companies and accelerate the industry’s decline, said Seiichi Mitsui, head of consultancy Game Age Research Institute.

“If Japanese companies don’t defend themselves — not just individually, but by coming together as an industry — they may not be able to put the brakes on,” he said.

Is Honkai impact better than Genshin Impact?

Genshin Impact’s story feels a lot more compelling and refined from the get-go, with clear efforts toward world-building and a plot that draws players in. Honkai Impact 3rd’s plot can feel a little less complex in comparison, but its story isn’t lacking by any means.

Anime Click and Drag Games

HoYoverse has been on the road to success since the overwhelming success of Genshin Impact, bringing millions of players to the wonderful world of Teyvat. Since its release in 2020, it has generated billions in revenue, fueling the developer’s capacity to produce even more beautiful games, including upcoming Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero.

But before Genshin Impact came Honkai Impact 3rd, the popular HoYoverse action RPG that was often compared to its successor. The two games feature a number of gameplay mechanics and quirks that are unique to them, while also sharing some similarities found among HoYoverse’s games. Here is a comparison between HoYoverse’s two successful titles.

Comparison: Genshin Impact vs. Honkai Impact 3rd

playing style

Image via HoYoverse

Genshin Impact feels a lot smoother and more refined since it released four years after Honkai Impact 3rd. However, that doesn’t mean Honkai doesn’t live up to the standard. While controlling Genshin feels more natural on PC and controller, Honkai might feel easier to play on mobile – although that can be subjective depending on your playstyle preferences. Regardless, both games feature cross-platform and cross-save features – with plus points for Genshin Impact’s PlayStation availability. The verdict: We think both games have their appeal, but Genshin Impact’s more refined interface and smooth gameplay are hard to beat.

Battle

Image via HoYoverse

Combat can be highly preferred, and the two games differ significantly in their unique combat mechanics. Honkai Impact 3rd promotes a fast-paced attacking and combo-building experience that feels like a mix of hack-and-slash and combat genres. Movement feels incredibly dynamic, especially as you progress into higher-level battles. However, only one Valkyrie can be controlled at a time, so all battles are essentially solo (although it’s possible to switch characters mid-battle).

In contrast, Genshin Impact places more emphasis on team building, with combos (called reactions) that rely on multiple characters using compatible elements to stack their abilities on top of each other. While movements are relatively easy, the encouragement to mix and match characters, elements, and abilities can keep combat feeling fresh even when using the same characters. The Verdict: We believe Genshin Impact’s combat mechanics feel friendlier to casual players and are more customizable overall.

story

Image via HoYoverse

Genshin Impact’s story feels much more compelling and sophisticated from the get-go, with clear efforts at world building and a storyline that draws players in. Honkai Impact 3rd’s plot can feel a little less complex in comparison, but its story isn’t lacking in any case. Genshin Impact just reads more action-oriented, with less emphasis on character development and interactions – especially with its massive cast of characters. It is not uncommon for someone to be forgotten for years.

In contrast, Honkai Impact 3rd’s character-driven story carefully develops each character, encouraging a greater sense of chemistry and interaction. The dialogue reads more complex compared to Genshin, bringing the individual to life rather than focusing on the overarching plot and mysteries. The Verdict: We feel Honkai Impact 3rd’s dialogue and character chemistry is more polished, elevating the character-driven storyline and making each encounter more memorable.

draft

Image via HoYoverse

characters

Featuring sci-fi inspired elements, Honkai Impact 3rd focuses on a smaller cast of characters, giving them a range of battle suits for all occasions. Genshin Impact’s large cast of characters is based on their relationship with the seven nations of Teyvat. Character design ultimately boils down to personal preference – you can fall in love with Raiden Mei and enjoy playing none other than her. However, players looking to experience more characters – including males – will find that Genshin’s variety of characters is more appealing. The Verdict: It’s a tie – no one can judge your waifu or your husband. But plus points for Genshin Impact for including the Y chromosome in playable characters.

landscape

It’s a breeze that Genshin Impact’s open-world gameplay allows players to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Teyvat and beyond. While Honkai Impact 3rd’s futuristic landscapes also have their own appeal, the highly photogenic Genshin Impact is hard to beat when it comes to landscaping. Verdict: We think Genshin Impact’s landscapes are nicer.

kinematics

HoYoverse has always pushed its cinematics to the fullest, so there is no doubt that both Genshin and Honkai Impact 3rd have beautiful animations and cutscenes for fans to enjoy. Genshin Impact is notorious for using in-game graphics for most of its cinematics, with a few animated exceptions. This can be a godsend – the animations feel more lifelike, but the cinematics rely more on the big picture due to character rigging limitations.

Meanwhile, Honkai Impact 3rd gets special treatment from miHoYo Anime, HoYoverse’s in-house animation studio. They have produced some beautiful shorts that look like they came from a high budget production line. Since both games are likely to attract anime fans, Honkai’s cinematics are more charming in that regard. The Verdict: While we much prefer it, we enjoy Honkai Impact 3rd’s beautiful animations a little more than Genshin’s.

gacha

Image via HoYoverse

The gacha system is perhaps one of the most important features in both games and is the backbone of Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd’s monetization strategy. In general, gacha isn’t too stingy in either game, but it’s not too generous either. Free-to-players can enjoy the gameplay without having to spend real money – as long as they can resist the temptation.

However, due to Honkai Impact 3rd’s more competitive gameplay, which includes PvP modes, there is more pressure to pull out a Valkyrie’s companion weapon and stigmata. On the same wavelength, Genshin Impact could entice players to seek out character copies in order to obtain Constellation Quirks that can serve as important quality of life improvements. The Verdict: Both games offer similar gacha experiences.

Final Verdict: Genshin Impact

Image via HoYoverse

It’s difficult to pick one from HoYoverse’s masterpieces, but casual players might find Genshin Impact friendlier, especially in the early game. There is less information overload early on, allowing players to focus on relaxed exploration. There is enough land area to sink hundreds of hours into the large and rapidly expanding Teyvat. There’s also less pressure to build characters and focus on combat. Instead, the game finds a wonderful balance that allows players to play how they want – competitively through Spiral Abyss speedruns, casually through Serenitea Pot minigames with friends, and more. So while Honkai Impact 3rd is by no means a bad game (in fact, it’s an amazing game!), our vote goes to Genshin Impact.

Is Genshin Impact Haram?

I’m sure playing it isn’t haram but it is haram if you spend real money on the game; spending money on Genshin for a banner is technically gambling because you don’t know what you will get and it’s also based off chances. It is also haram if you neglect your prayers and zhikir to Allah (SWT).

What means F2P?

Free to play (F2P) refers to a business model for online games in which the game designers do not charge the user or player in order to join the game.

Anime Click and Drag Games

Techopedia Explains Free-to-Play (F2P)

Free-to-play games focus on players’ willingness to purchase items or pay for access to new content once they have tried the game and become familiar with its mechanics. The idea of buying new content after playing a game, e.g. B. Access to new areas or characters or levels, allows designers to create many games on the same platform and then focus on expanding those versions, generating in-game purchases and revenue.

Free-to-play gaming stands in sharp contrast to its primary predecessor, known as pay-to-play (P2P). In this model, players pay upfront for a game once and then access all of the game’s content based on their skill level and time invested. The early F2P games were often of much lower quality than traditional P2P games. However, the quality of F2P games has increased rapidly as developers have recognized their ability to generate revenue.

Video game makers are still working on optimizing the F2P model. Some gaming companies offer both free and paid versions of the same game, although there are also many games designed specifically for F2P.

Is Genshin still worth playing 2022?

Is Genshin Impact worth playing in 2022? Yes, the game now has three continents with a fourth coming later this year. There are tons of characters to interact with, a wealth of sidequests, and a robust online community.

Anime Click and Drag Games

Genshin Impact has been around for years, and if you’ve just found the game you might be wondering what the game is like. Launching a live service game over a year after its release can feel a little intimidating. You may feel that the game is geared towards experienced players or that you have already missed too many rewards.

Is Genshin Impact beginner friendly?

Yes, Genshin Impact is still easy to start for new players. The game gives you four starter characters that cover all the elements, and new players generally get a few free moves. The standard and Noelle banners are still available for newcomers, guaranteeing you get characters that you can easily level up.

The only thing you really need to avoid is tugging at the event banners, as they usually feature characters that can only be leveled by hitting late-game areas.

Is it too late to start Genshin Impact in 2022?

No, although many events have passed and there are some items that you cannot get, it doesn’t affect it much. The game’s META is constantly changing, and the new content tends to be just a little bit better than the previous one. It’s fairly easy to catch up, and if you’re interested in a five-star prize, you’ll have peace of mind knowing they’ll eventually get a repeat banner.

Is Genshin Impact worth playing in 2022?

Yes, the game now has three continents, with a fourth coming later this year. There are tons of characters to interact with, a wealth of side quests, and a robust online community. If anything, you might find that the late start gave you the chance to interact with a more polished world.

How to return to Genshin Impact

If you’ve been away for a while, you can just jump back in. Your account starts right where you left off and you also have the option to access any new content that has been added. If you get lost in the story, you can always google the previous quests and watch videos on YouTube to refresh yourself.

Is Genshin Impact is a good game?

Yes, Genshin Impact is worth playing, since it’s a free-to-play RPG with AAA production quality, which is very rare. The game itself is focused on single-player aspects, where it’s mainly an Open World Action RPG, with huge map and tons of things to explore. You can play co-op with max.

Is Genshin Impact worth the time?

Really, Mihoyo’s storytelling chops are not to be underestimated here. Just because Genshin Impact is a free game doesn’t mean it is inferior in any way to a paid title. In fact, I’d even go as far as to say that Genshin Impact has a more compelling storyline than many AAA games in the market now – it’s that good.

Anime Click and Drag Games

Genshin Impact made its debut in late September of last year and I’ve logged into the game every day since. After playing it for over a year, there were a few instances where Genshin Impact felt… well, boring. But as new updates roll out, they revitalize the live service game.

Over the year, Mihoyo has refined many aspects of Genshin Impact. There are still some pain points here and there, but for what it’s worth, the thought of finishing the game never crossed my mind – even after such a long time, I’m still enjoying my time in Genshin Impact very, very much.

The story keeps getting better

One of my absolute favorite aspects of Genshin Impact is its compelling narrative, and I’m happy to report that it’s only gotten better over the year. New storylines aren’t just limited to the Archon main quest either; Even certain limited time events have some compelling stories as well.

Really, Mihoyo’s storytelling skills are not to be underestimated here. Just because Genshin Impact is a free game doesn’t mean it’s in any way inferior to a paid title. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that Genshin Impact has a more compelling storyline than many AAA games out there – it’s that good.

Of course, Genshin Impact’s intriguing storyline can also be attributed to various new characters being introduced to the game, which brings us to the next point.

New playable characters are very well developed

The typical pitfall of a gacha game is the release of new playable characters to get more revenue from their respective banners. While I wouldn’t say Genshin Impact isn’t to blame for this, it’s worth noting that each character introduced in the game is very well fleshed out with their own unique personality and character development.

Take the new characters introduced in the Inazuma storyline itself. The Raiden Shogun is a far more complex character than meets the eye, and the same goes for Sangonomiya Kokomi. While I don’t particularly like their gameplay, I was still tempted to get them because I like their personality and characterization.

Unfortunately I lost my 50/50 pity in their banner – I now have C3 jeans, much to my chagrin.

However, there are more characters that will also be playable in the future, such as Thoma. I can’t wait to see what other characters will be introduced in Genshin Impact – personally I hope Yae Miko will be playable soon.

Complete the cross-platform progression now

Previously, cross-platform progression for Genshin Impact was limited to PC, iOS, and Android only; PlayStation was not included. However, that was changed when version 2.0 went live earlier this year on July 21st, so PlayStation players can now finally continue their progression on other platforms and vice versa.

Of course, there are some limitations, but for the most part, you can seamlessly continue your progression on the PS5 or PS4 from other platforms. In fact, I used to prefer playing Genshin Impact on PC, but now I play almost exclusively on PS5, thanks to the blazing fast load times and DualSense controller support.

However, it’s worth noting that even the PC version will get DualSense support in version 2.2 of Genshin Impact, which is set to go live next week on October 13th.

Surely there are still some frustrating elements?

Definitely. Artifact farming is still a time-consuming process in Genshin Impact. I’m still looking for the perfect artifact set for my Raiden Shogun. That being said, the 160 resin cap still limits what I can do in one session unless I’m willing to spend real money to get more resin.

Speaking of which, the gacha aspect of Genshin Impact can still get very expensive very quickly. I haven’t put a lot of money into the game yet – aside from the Battle Pass and monthly subscription to daily primogems – but I was tempted to do so when I couldn’t get the character or weapon I wanted from Event Wishes .

On the other hand, this is an inherent danger of every gacha game. Having the discipline to only spend within your means is important, and you can definitely enjoy Genshin Impact without spending an obscene amount of money – even if you can’t always get your favorite character.

If you haven’t already checked out Genshin Impact, I urge you to do so. Despite being a free game, the storytelling, gameplay, and characterization of its various characters are easily on par with the best AAA games.

Yes, there are some aspects of Genshin Impact that can be frustrating, but even after a full year, those flaws aren’t enough to keep me from logging into the game every day.

Why is Genshin Impact so good?

Genshin Impact’s unique character designs are great for a multitude of reasons. For starters, it’s easy to identify a character immediately when seeing them. Other games tend to have problems where a player cannot tell who they are looking at. In Genshin, all of the playable characters have a unique look.

Genshin Impact is a great game, and behind every great game there are multiple reasons players love it.

Released on September 28th, 2020, Genshin Impact is considered to be one of the most popular new games. It also doesn’t look like its popularity will wane any time soon. Genshin Impact is not just a shy trend or something that deviates from the trend of other games. There are valid reasons why fans will continue to play Genshin Impact for years to come.

Whether it’s the memorable characters, the wonderful artistic direction, or the solid gameplay, Genshin Impact has left its mark on players. It might not be for everyone, but it’s easy to see why Genshin Impact was successful. As with all lists, there are undoubtedly more than five reasons why Genshin Impact is popular with gamers, but these five reasons are general ones that gamers can easily understand.

Five good reasons why Genshin Impact is popular with gamers

#5 – Solid core gameplay

Image via Forbes

As with most successful games, Genshin Impact has found a recipe for success when it comes to its core gameplay. The combat seems easy on the surface, but it’s surprisingly deep. There are several builds that players can try, with multiple characters that can be added to a party.

However, since it’s reminiscent of gacha games, players don’t have access to all characters and weapons. Therefore, they must work around their limitations in clever and creative ways. Other important gameplay features are cooking, alchemy, and various Battlepass challenges, and that’s not even all relevant gameplay features.

#4 – Frequent updates

Image via Sportskeeda

A game with no updates is a game that inevitably loses players. This applies to most games (not all), so luckily for Genshin Impact players there are plenty of updates. Something as new as the Windflower Festival in Mondstadt is quite different from the update Dragonspine introduced in Genshin Impact. The quality and quantity of these updates help maintain a stable player count.

Sometimes there are new quests, locations to explore, and activities (which can feel radically different from the usual gameplay, in a good way). As a result, Genshin Impact never feels stale.

#3 – Multiple playable characters

When you have more characters to play with, a game feels more varied. In some games where the player only has one playable character, much of the core gameplay can feel too monotonous. In comparison, Genshin Impact’s few dozen playable characters can spice up the core gameplay and how a player approaches a given obstacle.

Sure, some players stick with the same four core characters throughout the game. However, it’s the possibility of having more playable characters that may entice some players to play Genshin Impact. Mona feels different from Barbara, despite both characters being Catalyst users using the Hydro element. Then there’s the issue of the characters being more distinct, and that’s a whole other level to talk about.

#2 – Great character designs

Image via Sportskeeda

Genshin Impact’s unique character designs are great for a variety of reasons. For starters, it’s easy to identify a character as soon as you see them. Other games tend to have issues where a player cannot tell who they are looking at. In Genshin, all playable characters have a unique appearance. It’s also worth noting that the unique character designs add more personality to each character.

For example, Xiangling’s design is radically different from Lisa’s. They are additionally highlighted by animations. In the previous example, Xiangling playing with Guoba in her idle animation is very different from Lisa playing with a flower, further emphasizing their uniqueness as characters.

#1 – F2P game

Image via Playstation Europe (YouTube)

The amount of activities you can do in Genshin Impact without ever paying a dime is insane. It looks phenomenal for an F2P game, the music fits the setting beautifully, and the constant updates keep adding new ways to enjoy Genshin Impact. Compared to other games on the market, Genshin Impact stands out from most of them just because it’s F2P.

A game like Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a top notch game. However, the price is close to $60 (varies based on where you live). Considering that mainline Nintendo games don’t change their prices for most of the year, players interested in trying out such a game would have to shell out a significant amount of money.

In comparison, Genshin Impact doesn’t cost a penny to download. Players can spend more money on the game, but it’s optional. Compared to other F2P games, Genshin’s flaws aren’t as severe and the overall quality is noticeably higher than what else is on the market (for the most part).

I got an interesting result, so I decided to share it!

The idea I have is that Amber had a brother who was kidnapped at a young age by a Fatui agent for her experiments. Part of the reason Amber is so adventurous and ambitious is that she hopes that one day she can find him and bring him home safely.

Meanwhile, her brother escaped the facility where he was being held and stowed away on a ship seized by Beidou’s pirates. Beidou took him under her wing and taught him swordplay, although he liked normal broadswords better than claymores like her. He earned the same vision as her defending the ship from a sea monster despite other crew members abandoning the ship. However, he’s always been more interested in healing than fighting, so he devises a way to use his electro-magic to heal others.

Eventually he remembers that he actually has a sister! He was so young when he was kidnapped that he almost forgot about her, but he’s finally beginning to remember snippets of his young childhood in Mondstadt. Beidou and her crew will miss him dearly, but they know dropping him off at Mondstadt so he can find his family is the right thing to do.

Eventually he is reunited with Amber and takes a job as a healer at the church! Every now and then he travels to the beach where Beidou often docks her ship for supplies to meet up with them as they are something of a second family. He had a rough start with all that Fatui stuff, but I can imagine this guy has a good life now.

In terms of looks, I think he looks a lot like Amber (same hair/eye color, only his hair is short and very fluffy), but he has a lot of stab-like scars on his body from the experiments. Technically, he was in Liyue waters when he got his vision, so he probably had a Liyue-style vision. Just like Beidous! 😀

I’m not sure yet, but I think I like the name Emil since it’s both a German (Mondstadt) and a Russian (Sneznhaya) name. At least that’s the case according to behindthename lol.

But yeah, I really liked the idea I had with the result, so I figured I might as well share it. I hope you find it interesting too

Hi! Thanks for your patience! Here’s Emil! I enjoyed reading his lore so much that I decided to edit a character card for him instead of a sketch! Hope you don’t mind! It was really fun to make 😃 (I still have the really rough first sketch for him though, dm me if you still want to see it!)

Since he’s a healer and in the church, I wanted some sort of priest/monk design for him. I was thinking about how similar he looks to Amber, but hopefully he doesn’t look like just gendered Amber. Because of this, I tried to make him look a little older than her!

I hope you like it! ♡
