GamePigeon: While this simple gaming app has many good features, it’s only available in Apple’s messaging (SMS) app. Predators who “meet” children at a location may suggest playing a GamePigeon game, which will grant them access to your child’s phone number and shift their interaction to a private text chat. Parents should ensure their children are aware of this potential danger when using the app.

Bigo Live: This live streaming app is suitable for people over the age of 17, but the users’ age is not verified. You must share personal information in order to open an account that will allow the app to track your child. There are also many reports of bullying, nudity, violence and predatory comments.

Live.Me: Another live streaming video app, this one uses geolocation when posting videos, allowing users to find out the exact location of a minor.

Snapchat: The photos and videos shared via Snapchat should disappear as soon as they are viewed, or within 24 hours. This fact can leave children vulnerable to pressures to share compromising photos, which are simply recorded on the screen or saved to the recipient’s camera roll (to be used for bullying or harassment). Snapchat also shares your location by default.

Apps and websites with limited moderation

Many of these sites offer extremely limited moderation of content or comment and discussion, often relying on users to report problematic things they see. Because there is so little oversight, these spaces are often used to spread hate speech, misinformation, bullying, and extremist content.

The goal

The winner of Crazy Eights is determined by who can discard all of their cards first. If you can do that, you can raise your arms in a victory pump.

You need to get a standard 52-card deck and shuffle it well.

When playing a two-player game, each player receives seven cards.
