The only thing you need to buy is a silicone candy mold. You may already have one, if not don’t worry as they are not expensive.

I used this candy mold but you can find others if you like.

Simply mix together sugar and some water (see below for exact measurements) until it resembles wet sand. Then pack the silicone mold very tightly. Let the sugar cubes dry overnight. And then pop them out of the silicone mold. You will end up with super cute sugar cubes!

Adapt to your shapes! My molds were quite deep and they made quite large sugar cubes (perhaps too much for a cup of coffee or tea) so I only filled them about halfway and they came out perfect!
