B. — Clingy

“Could you maybe do one where he calls you clingy to the boys and you overhear him so you distance yourself? Maybe with a happy ending? Please and thank you!”

I’m so sorry it took so long, but I had so many essays to write and college is killing me! Here it is, I hope you like it!

***

you love harry And since he’s always on tour, you try to enjoy every second with him when he’s at home. Sometimes you worry about being clingy, but Harry says he loves how you cuddle with him when he’s home.

At least that’s what we thought so far.

You’ve just come home from a hard day’s work to find your friend and the boys in the living room screaming at the TV because a soccer player missed a goal. It’s not that you didn’t like the boys, you do love them and love it when they’re around, but tonight you just wanted to stay in bed with Harry and talk about anything and everything.

plans ruined.

“Hey babe!” You kissed his head and he barely looked at you before heading back to the TV.

“Hey Y/N. Can you do me a favor? Can you do this salsa thing only you know how to do it? We’ve run out of sods here.”

“Haz, I’m tired…”

“Come on Y/n, please!”

“Hey Y/n, if you want I can make it.” Niall offered.

“No, it’s okay, Y/n can do it. Right honey?” Harry looked over at you and when he realized how tired you were and how much you needed cuddles, he didn’t show it.

“Secure”

You dragged yourself into the kitchen to make your boyfriend and his friends a sausage.

And then your day got a lot worse.

“Harry, she looked really tired.” Liam pointed out. “Don’t you think you should take it easy?”

“She’s not tired. She doesn’t do that much. Except when she nags me.”

“Harri!” Louis scolded him. “She’s very cute, don’t talk about her like that.”

“Man, why are you saying that? I thought you loved her.” Niall said.

“I love her. A lot. Every time I come home she’s extra clingy and sometimes I just want to spend some time with myself. But she always wants to cuddle and she never leaves my side. Sometimes it’s easy too much of!”

They didn’t know you were listening. They also didn’t know that you were crying quietly. It’s hard to hear the person you love talk like that behind your back. And it’s even harder to know that Harry lied the whole time he said he didn’t find you clingy.

You finished the sauce and washed your face on the kitchen sink before going into the living room.

“Here, baby!” You gave Harry the bow and took your purse from where you left it. “I go out with the girls. I come again later. Bye guys.”

Harry was about to protest when you closed the door and almost ran to your car. You just needed some alone time.

***

You drove around town for hours without answering the phone. It’s been at least an hour since Harry tried to speak to you, but you still haven’t wanted to come home or answer him.

At 2 a.m. you parked your car in front of your shared apartment and got out of the car. The light in the living room was still on and you knew he was waiting for you.

“Thank God you’re fine!” He took you in his arms as soon as you entered your house. “Where were you?!”

“Off. I told you.” You shrugged and went to your bedroom.

“I know that, but it’s late and you didn’t answer…”

“I’ve been busy, Harry.”

“Sorry, I was worried.” You looked at him and he looked so worried and innocent. It cost you everything not to run into his arms and cuddle there.

no From now on no more cuddles.

“Go to bed, I’m just taking a shower.”

“Want some company?” he asked with a small grin.

“No.”

You couldn’t even begin to describe the face he made with your answer. You weren’t someone who would turn down spending some time with him. Specially showers. You loved showering with him.

Harry knew something was wrong. You are different and distant. But why? He doesn’t remember making you angry.

After you got out of the shower, Harry was already in bed. You changed and lay down on your side of the bed with your back to Harry.

Harry looked at you, expecting you to come and lie on his chest with your face on his neck. But you didn’t. Minutes passed and you were almost asleep when he decided to talk.

“Are you all right?”

“Yes”

“What have I done?” he asked turning you around until you’re looking at him.

“Nothing, Harry.”

“Stop calling me that!” He said worried. “You never call me Harry. I do not like it. Please stop! Tell me what’s up, dear. I can fix whatever it is.”

“There’s nothing wrong.” you answered annoyed.

“Yes, because you don’t cuddle me like you always do. you call me harry And earlier you said you were tired, but you went out and came back at 2am. I know you weren’t with the girls because I called them. Where were you?”

“Driving around.”

“You only do that when you’re sad. What have I done?”

“Nothing. It was me.” You could feel the tears in your eyes.

“What?” he asked confused.

“I’m too clingy. I am sorry. I won’t do it anymore.”

“What? You’re not too clingy, where did you…” Then he remembered. He told the boys that she was too clingy and annoying.

“I overheard you talking to the boys.” Her voice barely above a whisper.

“God, I’m such a bad boyfriend!” Harry pulled her closer and kissed her forehead. “Babe, I’m so sorry for what I said. I didn’t mean it, I swear! I was just upset with the game and everything and everyone was bugging me and I’m so sorry for offending you. Please forgive me.”

“It’s okay if you don’t like cuddling, Haz.”

“But I do! I love cuddles, especially your cuddles!” She tried to wriggle out of his arms but he wouldn’t let her. “I love you and I love everything about you. Please forgive me and stop trying, to push me away. I want you to be near me always.”

“You promise?”

“I promise, princess.” He kissed her and she giggled.

“I love you, you idiot.”

“I love you more.”

I love you three thousand — Close As Strangers

Time and distance are touchy subjects for Harry as they always seemed to be the two different factors that cause problems in life.

Unfortunately, he spends most of his time in Los Angeles, far away from you. You were never one to complain about it, you knew what you were getting into when you date him and understand the parameters of his job description.

It’s only when there’s distance in your relationship that you start worrying.

Lately, Harry has made less of an effort to keep up with things. He wouldn’t call you as often as the two of you usually spoke to each other, texts are occasional. FaceTimes are now a rarity and need to be scheduled days in advance. The last intense conversation you had with him was two months ago about change.

There were always the same excuses, he is busy and there is a time difference. He would try to comfort you with words of love, but each time you believed them less.

Sometimes it felt like his work and social life were more important than your relationship, but you would never tell him that.

On his last trip home you thought he was one hundred percent yours, or at least eighty when he was with his family.

But he wasn’t, he was barely there.

You remember immediately squashing your weekend plans as a couple.

“So, um, I thought we could go bowling at Bloomsbury, yeah? I called Liam and Sophia, they’re free if you’re up for it.”

“Can’t love, I told Jonathan I’m going to spend the night with him and the others.”

You swallowed hard at the rejection, but you knew these guys were his childhood friends, so you were relieved.

For the rest of the weekend, Harry was MIA as well. Occasionally he would call you to tell you where he was, the place was never yours.

You’re tearing up inside, every day it’s getting harder and harder to take without him even acknowledging you. You didn’t want to be the one who has to ask him to spend time with you, but it’s unfair that you don’t get his attention at all. You told yourself that on his next trip you would talk to him about what would bring you to where you are now.

“Harry?” You wave into your empty living room. You left to run some errands because you didn’t really want to wake up from his nap.

“In here!” Harry answers from the bedroom.

“Where are you going?” You giggle as you watch him peek back and forth between two patterned shirts.

“Dating out with some friends from LA.”

“Now?” you ask, somewhat taken aback by the answer.

“Yes, they were spontaneously visiting and wanted to see the city.” He finishes buttoning the printed shirt and smoothes it with his hands.

Oh. He didn’t even bother to invite you.

You shake your head to yourself, arms crossed unconsciously.

“Did you want to take me with you too?”

Harry purses his lip at not really thinking about it.

“N-no…I just assumed you wanted to stay home since you usually do it after work.”

He’s right. hell again

“Are you okay, love?” Harry catches your silence as he stares at you from across the room.

Not really, no.

“Harry.” You watch him jog across the room in search of his other boot and find the pair under the foot of the bed. “Can I talk to you about something?”

“Can it wait? I told them I’ll be there as soon as I can.”

You giggle to yourself, the irony. Always there for his friends, but never for the one he is in love with.

“Of course he’s not staying.” You mumble under your breath and go to your dresser to remove your daily jewelry.

“What?” Harry stops moving after hearing you.

“Nothing.”

“No, it’s not nothing. I heard you, what do you mean by that?”

“Well, it’s true.” You throw your hands in your hair. “You’re never near me anymore, I shouldn’t be surprised you’re leaving me to see the same people you’re likely to see in three days.”

You don’t want to argue with him, really. But those are words you’ve been holding on to for months now.

Harry looks at you with a knitted eyebrow, “I’m never here anymore? I was here two weeks ago.”

“Oh right,” you put your palm to your heart, “forgive me for forgetting to be technical. You are here, in London, yes. You sleep in this house. But you’re not here with me.”

“Don’t be so dramatic. I’m only going out for one night.” He scoffs and tucks a foot into his boot.

“That’s just it!” You unconsciously raise your voice, “One night out of many, Harry. You were out all weekend the last time you were here and I was okay with some things because they were your childhood friends. But this is the second time and you are walking around with people that you will obviously see when you come back.

“Why are you acting like that? Don’t be that clingy girlfriend Y/N.”

clingy? clingy Wrong answer Harry.

“Is it clingy to want to have a solid conversation with the one person I trust? Is it clingy wanting to see you, really wanting to see you without it going over my phone? Is it clingy to require that everything you do in L.A. be kept there, separate from what we have here?!”

“Well, maybe I don’t want to be here anymore!” He roars and finally raises his voice to you too.

You fall silent and hardly ever see him angry. He’s not one to scream, he hates it.

“Maybe I don’t like living in London anymore.”

You take your eyes off of him and stare at the corners of the bed that holds so many fond memories of you and Harry.

Tired of living in London? What the hell does that mean?

“What do you mean by that?” You are much calmer now.

“I enjoy things more over there, people seem happier with life and the sun is always shining. Most of my friends live there or at least go there often. It gets a bit boring here and life is better there.”

“I just prefer it there, that’s all.” He adds.

A sharp thrust comes from his answer, you feel the air being sucked out of you as you begin to realize.

“Maybe then you’ll get tired of living in London with me.” You whisper, tears starting to well up in your eyes.

“I didn’t say that, dear…”

“But that’s what you meant, wasn’t it?” You cut him off. “It’s what you thought, but you just can’t admit it to yourself.”

He takes a few steps toward you, causing you to walk backwards.

“I think you should go out tonight.” You suddenly say you don’t have any more of it. “I need time to think about us.”

“That’s it?” He speaks almost laughing after a moment. “You’re throwing away everything we have because I don’t like this town like the other?”

“All we have?!” You throw your hands up again, “What do we have, Harry, what do we have?” We hardly speak anymore, we never see each other anymore and you of all things spend more time with Kendall Jenner than with me.”

kendall It’s a low blow to raise her, but the truth is that he’s seen her more times.

“Kendall?” Harry almost laughs. Why bring up something like this? He has always tried his best to convince you that you are the most beautiful woman he knows besides his mother and sister.

“Are you jealous that I’m with her more in L.A. than with you here? Is that why you’re making such a big deal?”

Wrong answer again, H.

They squint at him: “I make a big deal out of you not even bothering to be here with me in London anymore but with her in America.”

This time Harry laughs.

“There you are again with your cities, what the hell is so important about that to you?!”

“This town you call ‘boring’, which you don’t seem to like anymore, is actually our home. If you still call it your home.”

You swallow a lump, eyes brush his green ones.

“You’re seen with her more than me and that combined with the fact that you never bothered to talk to me… I can’t handle it, Harry. You’re not even in the same country as me anymore, and… and maybe you’re not meant for that with me, but maybe for living in a city you think is the best, with the people you’ll never be Boredom and a friend who can be with you.”

He breathes heavily and keeps a cheeky look.

“Maybe I’m tired of living with you if you don’t trust me.”

You look at him in complete shock but your eyes are sad while your heart is breaking completely.

All you want is for him to be with you, but even if he is, he’s not complete. You don’t know how it came to revealing something so massive, uncertainties you didn’t want to address.

Nothing more is said before the shrill tone of Harry’s phone echoes through the room.

He pulls it out of his pocket as he answers.

“Yes, I was just about to leave.”

A few more seconds exchanged looks before he grabs his coat, leaves the room and soon the house with only the sound of his footsteps filling your ears.

You fall on the floor of the bedroom that was once an oasis but has turned into a battlefield. Tears stream down your face as you play with the chain still wrapped around you. It never left your body.

You trust him completely, you do. How did you end up here?

He knows he shouldn’t have gone.

He knows he shouldn’t have said those words, he didn’t mean any of them.

He knows he shouldn’t have blamed you.

He knows he should have stayed with you and promised he would spend more time with you. He should have apologized and said London is your home with him, it will be forever.

But out of malice he threw those empty words at you, salt in the wounds he had caused by his distance.

“Pf.” Harry chokes out, shaking his head at the term. Distance, why does there have to be one.

The argument is in his head, his heart aching with every word he spits out.

“Stupid. So damn stupid.” He mumbles to himself.

He knows you trust him, otherwise you two wouldn’t have lasted this long. He shouldn’t have fought it, we all have our insecurities and he knows yours is because of the pretty people he’s friends with. Now he’s just gone and made things worse.

“Damn, Y/N.” He calls your name as if you’re answering him.

And just because his subconscious likes to screw him, you show up right next to him in the passenger seat.

“Why did you say that, Harry?”

“Shit!” He screams and eyes you next to him. “What the hell are you doing here?”

“I’m not actually here, you know that.” You look out the window.

“I’m just a pipe dream because you feel guilty about what happened and there are unresolved issues.”

He snorts and grabs the steering wheel.

“So you’re going to answer the question?”

With a look, he replies, “I don’t know. It was part of the moment.”

“No, you know it. Say it.”

“How would you know?”

“Because I’m made of your mind.” You roll your eyes.

“It’s really difficult being apart from you. I guess I was just convinced that not having you around would hurt less if I didn’t let you in anymore. Out of sight, even on the phone, out of mind.”

You grimace, “So you were convinced that if I thought you didn’t care, it would be easier for both of us?”

“It was really bloody stupid, I get that. Bad decision making.”

“Poor decision-making” You chuckle, “I cried a lot of tears and stressed because I didn’t know if you were safe or not.”

“I know baby I’m sorry.”

“You called me ‘clingy’ and ‘dramatic’ for caring about you so much.”

“That’s because I’m a bit of an idiot.” He mumbles and turns into a street.

“A very big one. And what was up with you saying you didn’t like London anymore, did you really mean it?”

He sighs, “I like California, but I would choose the place that makes you happiest, you know that.”

“Not anymore, actually.” You look over at him.

“What do you mean you don’t remember?” He looks at you jokingly.

“You spat words you said you didn’t mean, but then you’ll also say things to try to convince me that you’re sorry and that you love me. Why lie at all?”

“Because I’m the biggest idiot on this planet, Y/N!” He screams and bangs his hands on the dashboard. “Because I was extremely stupid for ignoring you even though I know all you wanted is me because I thought distancing yourself from you would also ease the pain of our breakup but apparently not because we are now in stuck in this bloody mess!”

You lick your lips, trying to calm yourself at his sudden outburst.

“And instead of trying to clean it up, you’re headed to the pub to see the friends we fought over while you were arguing with yourself.”

Harry quickly glances over at you, only to find that you’re gone in a moment. He exhales raggedly and tries his best to focus on driving carefully instead.

As he grips the steering wheel of his Range Rover, he realizes he hasn’t used it in months. He can’t remember the last time he was in that exact driver’s seat as he left it in case you needed it.

A few of your belongings drape the car and he wonders if you use it often to get around.

Harry’s heart hurts when he thinks of you because he already knows it hurts you too. That was a nasty exchange of your truths and his excuses, he’s really just mad at himself for becoming such a horrible boyfriend. As he approaches the pub, he grows more and more dissatisfied with himself.

To be honest, Harry doesn’t even have the desire to see her anymore. You are right that he can be with them anytime, but he chooses to stay with them instead of you.

“Hey man, what took you so long!” his friend Tom yells as he enters the bar. Harry’s face is sad, but he hopes he can hide it.

“Sorry, I couldn’t decide what to wear.” He mumbles back, bringing a useless smile to his face. He sits in the middle of the table as he is usually the life of the party.

His friends are lively around him, mostly an American accent sounds in his ear. But he can’t bother to enjoy with them.

“What’s the matter with you, Harry? What’s happened since we last saw you?” Xander, another friend asks. He winks, knowing it’s only been a few days.

“Mostly sleeping. I don’t feel like adjusting to my time here since I’ll be back in America soon anyway.” He jokes, but it hurts to realize what he just said.

Xander laughs and hands him the pint that was waiting for him.

The chatter continues with Harry much more quietly than usual. He doesn’t even bother to crack the same jokes he did when the opportunity presented itself, just chuckles a few times and tries to ignore the searing pain of not being with you.

Jeff notices the silence and nudges him, speaking softly enough that the conversation is just between the two of them.

“Are you okay?”

Harry nods and fiddles with the glass in his hand.

“Are you sure? You don’t seem to be.”

Harry licks his lips and doesn’t look worriedly at Jeff.

“Y/N and I had a fight. A terrible one. And out of defiance I left to come here.”

Jeff opens his mouth thoughtfully, also afraid he might be saying the wrong words.

“What was the fight about?”

“I’m hanging with you guys.” He chuckles at the stupidity he’s shown.

“Oh…” His friend looks down, embarrassed, “doesn’t she like us?”

Harry shakes his head. “No no. She thinks you’re fine. She just doesn’t like that I’m always with you all. To be honest, I didn’t realize how much I was with you guys until I thought back to the last time I even drove my Range Rover around here.”

He was almost always in L.A., driving around in his vintage cars instead. He even forgot how to get to your favorite restaurant last night before dinner.

“Well, I mean…” Jeff rubs the back of his neck, “you’re just there for work most of the time, aren’t you?”

“She also said I don’t really try to talk to her, which I found ridiculous. Then I tried to remember how many times we’d Facetimed in the last month… and according to the FaceTime log, it was a total of seven calls.”

He gulps because he’s guilty of not picking up the dozens of other FaceTimes of yours.

“Then she said I hang out with Kendall more than I do with her.”

“That’s… that’s brutal, I’m sorry man.” Jeff answers.

“And to top it all off,” adds Harry, “I blamed her and told her she didn’t trust me.”

He downs the rest of his drink and begins craving something stronger.

“Wow… I um… I hate to be blunt but that was an asshole.” His friend speaks.

Tears pool, but Harry holds on to them.

“I didn’t mean it like that, Jeff. What I said to her was so rude, but I didn’t mean to hurt her.”

Jeff pulls the glass from his grip after hearing his words.

“You can’t drink anymore.”

“What?” Harry frowns and reaches for it. But Jeff doesn’t move.

“You’re going to have to be sober when you settle things with her.”

Harry’s face softens before he denies the thought.

“I don’t even know how to fix this.”

His friend sighs, “Well, you can start by getting out of here and going back to her. I can’t believe you left man.”

“I know I shouldn’t have done that,” Harry snaps, and then quickly apologizes.

“Just talk to her. Tell her you didn’t mean it, you can’t fix things by sitting here and telling me how you want it. You really have to do it.”

Back in his Range Rover, Harry practices his ingrained apology.

“Honey, you mean everything to me and I’m sorry.”

“Y/N darling, you know I didn’t mean to call you clingy or dramatic.”

“I screwed up, I know that, but you’re the love of my life and… and…”

He drives nervously, frustrated with trying to think of a reasonable excuse. No part of him would ever intentionally hurt you so he has no idea what came over him before but how to put that into words? He doesn’t want to blame everything on hypocrisy, even if he didn’t mean anything he said.

“I love you angel. Please forgive me.” He whispers to himself, impatiently waiting for the traffic light to change.

“That’s a lame excuse, Styles.”

“Gah!” Harry yells, noticing you reappear in the passenger seat.

“What the hell are you doing again?”

You shrug, “Ask yourself.”

“I don’t know what to tell you, I don’t want to sound pathetic with the cliche apology and begging.”

“It’s too late for that, if you’re going to call me ‘angel’ then apologize. Do you know what sorry does? It literally puts a band-aid on a broken window.”

“I don’t know how else to tell you, I’m a fucking apologist as nothing like this has ever happened before.” He sighs and turns into your street.

“Hmm, and I wonder why.” You feign deep thinking.

“That does not help.”

“You just haven’t gotten the right idea yet. You’d better figure it out quick though, you’re running out of time.” You let him know as he drives into your neighborhood.

Harry swallows nervously, all his emotions running high as he doesn’t know what he’s getting back to. They might be violent and throw something at him when he walks through the door. You might curl up in a ball on the bedroom floor and feel torn to pieces.

“You love her, make sure she knows that.” He mumbles to himself and unlocks the door with his key.

“Y/N?” He calls, noticing the eerie stillness of your home, which in a way is his too.

A few more steps are taken around the house before he runs a hand through his thick hair.

The need for critical thinking is gone, and so are you.

Part two is here.

Well damn lol. Shit not only hit the fan but exploded everywhere else. Hot damn.

Tell me what you think of it and if you want a second part. I tried my best and I have to tell you I rewrote it at least seven or eight times before it looked like this. I actually just got a headache from the plot work.

Anyone a 5SOS fan? I used to be a massive one, but… it kind of wore off. I just had Close As Strangers in my head and thought it would be a perfect title as the lyrics fit.

My final exams start tomorrow so wish me luck as I wish you all if they come up.

I hope you are all well. Greetings if you read this

When You Get Distant After He Calls You Clingy In An Argument ~ Stray Kids Reaction

Bangchan:

Your eyes averted as soon as you noticed Chan walking into the room with you, trying your best to pretend you hadn’t noticed him.

“You can’t stay silent forever,” he reminded you, keeping a little distance between the two of you, “someday you’ll talk to me.”

You glared, “I’m not doing anything.”

“Come on,” Chan pleaded with you, sitting on the end of the sofa, “I understand you’re mad at me, I’d be mad too if I were in your place, but the word sorry just feels stretched.” extends to the point where I feel like I’m being insincere.”

“What do you want from me, Chan?” You asked him, “Do you expect me to jump into your arms and pretend you didn’t tell me I was clinging too tight?”

“But you know I didn’t mean it like that,” he snorted.

“You think I know that, but right now I’m not so sure,” you frowned and ran your hand through your hair, “how do you expect me to be?”

“I see,” he assured, staring at you, “I don’t expect you to jump into my arms, but is it that hard to be polite?”

“I guess we can at least talk.”

“I will keep trying to forgive you.”

Lee know:

The sound of the front door slamming made Minho flinch and turn as he entered, surprised at how loudly you entered your home.

“Is the door still on its hinges?” He tried to joke, only to see that in his attempt to make you smile, your expression remained the same, blank.

Your eyes looked down, “It’s alright.”

“Don’t,” Minho pleaded as you tried to walk right past him, grabbing your arm to pull you back. “What else can I do to set this straight, Y/N? I’ve apologized so many times, but you can’t go on like this.”

“I’m trying not to be near you right now, just in case you really want to,” you informed him, trying to pull your arm out of his grip.

“It was never what I wanted,” he reminded you.

“Then why are you saying it?” They simply asked, still struggling to get their bearings: “Can’t you blame me for being confused?”

“Of course,” Minho said sympathetically, releasing your arm, “but can’t you just accept that I’m sorry, and I really mean that.”

“I know it’s you, but that’s not the solution.”

“I get that, but I’ll try Y/N.”

Changbin:

A slight gasp of surprise came from Changbin as he walked through the house and saw you were sitting on the sofa, aimlessly scrolling through your phone.

“I thought you might have gone somewhere else,” he said, surprised to see your head swivel and your eyes briefly meet his.

Your head shook, “I’ve been thinking about it.”

“I’m glad you’re here,” he added, crossing the room to sit next to you on the sofa. “I wanted one more chance to apologize to you Y/N, to tell you that I know I made a huge mistake and that I understand why you’re upset.”

“I’m not mad Changbin, I’m just disappointed that you would even think of saying something like that,” you explained to him, “how did you even think of something like that?”

“I really don’t know,” he told you honestly.

“Just answer me again for my own peace of mind,” you asked him, “have you ever thought of me as clingy?”

“No,” he said firmly, not having to think about his answer, “I really don’t know where it came from, I’m confused too.”

“Are you sure it’s not me this time?”

“Absolutely, more than anything.”

Hyunjin:

The moment you both walked through the front door, you stepped away from Hyunjin and went straight to the stairs to go to bed.

“Where are you going?” Hyunjin yelled upon seeing them walking away, “What happened to watching the drama episode tonight?”

Your head shook, “I’ve changed my mind.”

“Because of what I said earlier?” Hyunjin asked about being able to read you like a book. “I said I’m sorry for calling you clingy, you can’t just walk away like that Y/N if you’re still annoyed tell me you are.”

“I’m not mad,” you said clearly, “but part of me doubts if that comment was a complete lie, was there a grain of truth in it? Do you think I’m even clingy?”

“I already said no,” Hyunjin sighed.

“But I don’t know if I trust you,” you admitted, scratching your head, “I think I just need to be alone tonight.”

“Shall I sleep on the sofa?” He said: “Sharing a bed isn’t ideal if we don’t even speak to each other.”

“I think that would be for the best.”

“In that case, see you tomorrow.”

Han:

A loud groan came from you as you heard footsteps following you up the stairs and Jisung refused to take his eyes off you until you accepted his apology.

“Y/N, eventually you won’t have anywhere to go,” he tried to tell you as you walked into the bedroom and couldn’t close the door in time.

You sighed loudly, “please go away.”

“I can’t,” Jisung smiled smugly and closed the door so the two of you were in the room. “I can’t keep this tension up, I can’t leave you alone because I know you’re angry With me, I already know what I said was wrong.”

“Clingy, of all the things you could have said to Jisung, you call me clingy,” you hissed, watching him flinch as you reminded him of what he’d said.

“And I already said I’m sorry,” he noted.

“That doesn’t fix things,” you said, lowering your eyes to the floor, “this isn’t a case of just apologizing, Jisung.”

“I’m trying my best, please watch this,” he frowned, trying to hold your hand only for you to take a step back, “I’m really sorry.”

“May I have some space, please?”

“If you really want that.”

Felix:

You sighed as you felt the bed lower, knowing all the while that it would only be a matter of time before Felix went up the stairs.

“You’re not sleeping,” he whispered in surprise and opened the door to find you lying wide awake in the middle of their shared bed.

Your head nodded, “I can’t sleep.”

“Because of me?” Felix asked, already knowing the answer, “I don’t know what to say to set things right. Y/N, I came here to apologize again, but I just feel like I can say it to you so many times.”

“I’m just confused Felix,” you frowned and ran your hands over your face, “one minute I’m clingy, the next you’re telling me I’m not, what do I think?”

“Believe me now,” he asked you calmly.

“And right now you think I’m not clingy?” You asked him because you wanted to know what side of him you’re talking to.

“I don’t think so, I know,” Felix claimed, “I know I screwed up, but you have to believe that I don’t think you’re clingy.”

“I’m trying my best to trust you.”

“Then please keep trying.”

Seungmin:

You dreaded the moment the guys walked out of the room, leaving you and Seungmin alone, barring a surge of tension between the two of you.

“I’m sorry,” was all he could say, noticing you couldn’t bring yourself to look over at him, “I shouldn’t have said it.”

You growl back, “It wasn’t funny.”

“I know that now,” Seungmin assured you, moving a little closer to you, “I thought it would be wise to get the boys to react, but I was wrong, it just embarrassed you. ”

“What else are you joking about when I’m not around?” They asked, surprising Seungmin, “Should I be worried about all the things you tell them?”

“I didn’t say anything else,” he promised you.

“Are you sure?” She frowned, “Even when you’re joking, because I don’t know anyone who jokes about a clingy partner.”

“I’m panicking,” he tried to tell you, “trust me, if you leave, I’m sure I’ll get a huge lecture from all the boys, too.”

“That’s what you deserve, I think.”

“I agree, I definitely do.”

IN:

Once you felt Jeongin’s hand on your waist, you moved a little further forward in the bed to try and get further away from him.

“You’ll fall out of bed if you keep going like this,” he warned you, understanding why you shuffled away as soon as you started moving.

A sigh came from you, “so be it.”

“Y/N,” Jeongin whispered, understanding why you were still struggling with him, “I’m sorry, I don’t know what else I can do. I’m trying to make things right by proving to you that what I said earlier didn’t mean anything.”

“You can’t just snuggle up to me like nothing happened,” you replied, pulling his hand away, “it’s not that easy when you’ve said something so hurtful to me.”

“I thought we were fine,” admitted Jeongin.

“You were fine,” you corrected, turning to face him, “you just want to carry on as if nothing happened, but I can’t.”

“I didn’t realize how much such a stupid comment would hurt you,” Jeongin said softly, “I screwed up, didn’t I?”

“I just need some space now.”

“Of course everything you need.”
