Get all the supplies and take them outside!

You should place your sheet against a hard, outdoor surface so the balloons will shatter when thrown at it. Keep doing this until the artist is done. When the leaf is on the ground you can have the artist stomp on the balloons and watch this effect.

While this is the easier clean version, you can also just use pain in the balloons, which is messier but livelier.

A cool variant:

Pin balloons (filled with pain) to a piece of wood painted with a white or black background. Get darts from Walmart and have the artist throw darts at the balloons or poke them with something that pops the balloon and watch them pop and create a really neat masterpiece.

1 cup baking soda

1/2 cup citric acid

1/2 cup Epsom salt

1/2 cup cornstarch

3/4 tbsp. water

2 TEA SPOONS. essential oil (lavender, eucalyptus, rose, orange and lemongrass are popular for the bath)

2 TBSP. Oil (jojoba, sweet almond, coconut, olive, or even baby oil)

A few drops of food coloring.

A shape of your choice, e.g. B. regular or mini muffin pans, candy pans or round plastic molds specially designed for bath bombs

Optional: dried flowers or sugar cake decorations such as flowers or stars

Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients except for the citric acid.

Step 4: Blend the mixture very firmly into your chosen shapes. You can slightly overfill the molds and use a spoon or glass to press the mixture in as firmly as possible. Immediately release the bombs from their molds on wax paper and let them dry overnight.

Step 5: Give the bath bombs a day or two to dry completely before using or gift wrapping.

Step 6: Place one in the bath, enjoy the explosion of color and fizz, and breathe in the aromas released. Turn on your favorite music or podcast to accompany you while you bathe, or just slide into the bath and enjoy all your hard work.

Pack your bath bombs

These bath bombs make perfect gifts (for others or yourself – self-care is important!). You can put both large and small in cellophane gift bags (like the ones you usually buy for cookies) or stack smaller ones in a wide-mouth mason jar. Make a few batches with different colors and add different essential oils for a range of scents if you want some variety. Bath bombs typically last around six months as long as they are well packaged in airtight jars, Tupperware containers, or sealed plastic bags and stored in a dry environment such as a cupboard. Storage in the bathroom or outdoors is not ideal as steam and humidity will cause the citric acid to lose its effectiveness and your bath bomb will not produce the bubbly fizz you are looking for.
