I proclaim that Jehovah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, is my God and my spiritual Father. I surrender my body, soul and spirit to Your care, Father God, again today. Father, help me (us) to be a good steward of this house and property. Help me (us) to make good decisions, to be spiritually wise and to have good judgment about what I (we) will allow to come into this house or allow into this house or on his property in that work I can help you keep this house holy and in your peace. It is best to pray these things with an audible voice that affirms your intentions not only to God and to yourself, but to all the forces of darkness that are about to lose their abode. Dedicate Your Home When you have completed all these steps, go through your house, room by room, dedicating each one to the Lord. Speak specific blessings in each room. In the living room, you might want to bless the time your family is spending there together and ask the Lord to strengthen those relationships. In each bedroom, bless the plans and purposes that God has for everyone who occupies that room. In the bedroom of a married couple, bless the sexual relationship and union between husband and wife. Bless the work done in an office or study and declare that all work done there is done as for the Lord. Think about why each space was designed and bless that purpose. You can even bless the cleansing that is taking place in the bathroom and ask the Lord to use it as a reminder of the cleansing He has brought into your own life! Many who dedicate room after room in their homes often use oil to anoint the doors, windows, and furnishings. Oil is used as a symbol of the blood of Y’shua [Jesus] – a reminder of both the purifying and protective power in His blood. If this is how you feel guided, the use of oil for this type of prayer is certainly appropriate. Fill Your Home With Glory The next step is to fill your home with objects and activities that bring glory to God. Jack Hayford offers this list of practices that promote healthy, happy, and holy homes: Share the Covenant Meal with your family at home. Be sure to get the kids involved. Sing at home, both alone and together. Fill your house with the song of the LORD. Pray at home. Pray as a family. Make grace meaningful, even if it is short. Scheduled prayer times are great, but so is prayer that arises naturally and it helps the children participate as real participants rather than being forced. Speak the word in your home. Besides your own devotional Bible reading, how about regularly standing in the center of your living room and reading a Psalm aloud? Keep your house bright. Cultivate a real sense of hope in your home. Refuse any influence (mood, harsh language, unworthy music, activities or videos) that would quench the brightness of God’s light of glory in your home. Maintain the Spiritual Victory Keep on your toes! We are in a WAR! The enemy would love to find new and creative ways to infiltrate your home with spiritual darkness. It’s a good idea to regularly search your home, looking for new items that shouldn’t be in your home, or to pray through any new sin issues that arise. Also, plan to consecrate the rooms of your home and walk around your home
property at least once a year. You may want to choose a day each year to remind you that the time has come to do a spiritual examination and rededicate your home to the Lord.

1 PRAYER FOR CLEANSING OUR HOME OF DEMON SPIRITS After we have removed any objects that are occult or constitute false worship, pray aloud in each room, anointing each room with oil as you move: Dear Heavenly Father, I (we) confess that you are my Lord of heaven and earth and that you have given us everything so that we may enjoy it abundantly. Thank you for this place to live. I (we) claim this home for myself and my family as a place of spiritual security and protection from all enemy attacks. Jesus Christ gave me the authority to use His name and take authority over and cast out all demonic spirits and influences.
2 In the name of Jesus, I command any evil spirit that claims ground in the earth, structures, furnishings, or roams within this place because of the activities of previous residents or any members of my family, to leave and never return. I (we) renounce and break all curses, spells and orders placed or used against this place and I send them back with confusion and I ask you, God, to bless all people who cast curses, spells and Orders sent against me or this place or people in this place.
3 I (we) ask you, Heavenly Father, to post guardian angels around this house to protect it from enemy attempts to invade and interfere with your intentions for me (us). I (we) thank you, Lord, that you have done this, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.
