For use on washable fabrics only. Not suitable for colored fabrics. Do not mix with other cleaners, bleaches or detergents. Wear household rubber gloves. 1. Fill the washing machine with water to the required level. Use warm water for best results. 2. Add 1/2 cup No More Yellow! No additional detergent is necessary. 3. Add white laundry and start wash/rinse cycle. For stubborn rust stains, dissolve 1/2 cup of No More Yellow! per gallon of hot water in a plastic container. Soak white laundry in solution for 30 minutes. Wash as above.

This Saved A Load of Whites From A Red Dye Error by Betty Betty says: Long story short, a red shirt was thrown in the wash with a load of white linens and there was a mess.
I washed the entire load with the Whik No More Yellow and all the red stains were gone.
Thankfully we no longer live in an area where hard water is a problem, but when we did I used a lot more of this product on our whites.
Also lucky I had it on hand for that laundry accident!

If anyone else has used a similar product (or this one) to remove paint stains like this, I’d love to hear about it! Long story short, a red shirt was thrown in the wash with a load of white linens and there was a mess. I washed the entire load with the Whik No More Yellow and all the red stains were gone. Luckily not anymore. I live in an area where hard water is a problem but when we did I used a lot more of this product on our whites. Also happy I still had it on hand for that laundry accident! For every day I use Whik Wash pre-conditioner away. It is excellent for removing food, drink and grass stains. The Wash Away also works well on protein-based stains like baby food, especially if they are treated before they dry on the fabric. Thanks for sharing this Betty! This product is money well spent by SR101 Reader I’ve had good luck using the Wash Away pre-treater for laundry stains (coffee, tea and soda to name a few) on white and non-white clothes so I decided to give the No More Yellow product for some of my white laundry.
I’m amazed at the difference this product has made in the brightness of our white t-shirts, shirts and trousers.
It’s money well spent, and as others have pointed out, you don’t have to use it every time you make a lot of white to appreciate the effect.
In fact, one of my co-workers asked me if I bought some new shirts after using this product.

Bluing has always existed and I swear by it. It also has a pleasant scent (No More Yellow smells like rotten eggs) and a small bottle lasts for years. Taylor says: Thank you for your review.
If you want to know more about the bluing process and why it works, I wrote the article. For years, removing sweat stains and antiperspirant stains has been more than a challenge. We used to have full wash chlorine bleach or pre-spotting with Wisk right on the stain. For my part, I don’t believe in pre-spotting. I think the detergent should be good enough to treat all stains. And when I do a pre-treatment, it’s with the same detergent that I wanted to use. However, if my whites are dirty for some reason (generally chlorine bleach) instead of Yellow Out I just add a few drops of Mrs. Stewart’s Bluing to my last rinse. Blueing has always existed and I swear by it. Plus, it has a pleasant scent (No More Yellow smells like rotten eggs) and a small bottle will last for years.
