Care to purchase an offering?
An offering? (Sekiro)
Indeed, I sell items to be offered to the dead, so they might rest in peace.
From the looks of you, I’d wager you know a thing or two about death.
… go ahead, buy an offering.
(After buying)
Where you find the departed, you’ll find the Memorial Mob…
Just like the crows.
Where your travel takes you, make sure you bring some offerings with you.

Sekiro Shinobi Firecracker Guide: Where to Find the Crow’s Bed Memorial Mob
The Shinobi Firecracker is one of the best, most versatile tools in Sekiro. And you can find it very early on in the game! But it’s not on the critical path or in plain sight, like the Shinobi Axe or Flame Vent. You need to do some searching. Don’t worry, though, because we’ve got you covered. Where is the Shinobi Firecracker in Sekiro? Just read on to discover the tool’s cleverly hidden location.
Sekiro Shinobi Firecracker Location
First things first: do you have everything you need? The Shinobi Firecracker isn’t free, after all. Unlike many of the early tools in Sekiro you’ll have to buy it from a merchant. Although it thankfully clocks in at the low, low price of just 500 Sen (i.e. gold coins). If you have even a few, basic money pouches on your person you should be fine. But if you don’t — and you’re totally broke — you should do a bit of cash farming before proceeding. The Firecracker isn’t tremendously hard to reach, but it is a bit out of the way. So you don’t want to have to return to its location more times than you need.
With that in mind, let’s see if you’re far enough in the game to reach it. Odds are, if you’re not just starting out, you already passed the correct location. It’s sandwiched between the two checkpoints called “Ashina Outskirts – Gate Path” and “Ashina Outskirts – Stairway.” Assuming you already beat or circumvented General Naomori Kawarada — the first proper mini-boss in Sekiro — you should be able to reach the merchant with ease.
You can start by fast traveling to either of the Sculptor’s Idols mentioned above. Although “Ashina Outskirts – Stairway” offers a slightly more direct path, if you’ve unlocked it. From this checkpoint, turn back towards the Gate Path. It’s the same direction that leads you to Anayama the Peddler (the bandit merchant) and where you encounter the enemy with a cannon.
In fact, we want to reach the wall with the cannoneer. Zip on over to his perch and dispatch him with a stealth kill. From this vantage point you can actually see where we need to go: the tall mountain peak slightly to your right-hand side in the distance. You might even be able to make out the tent where the Crow’s Bed merchant lives.
Turn even more to your right. You’ll see a long, thin pathway of tall grass (the kind you can sneak through). Simply follow the foliage until you reach the plateau. When you arrive at the rock formation’s base, use the grappling hook to zip onto the lower cliff. Then look up. You should see a single grapple point at the top peak of the small mountain. Use the grappling hook one more time to reach the summit!
How to Unlock the Shinobi Firecracker in Sekiro
Congratulations! You made it to the Crow’s Bed Memorial Mob. This surly merchant will sell you a variety of items, just like any vendor in the game. But the one you want is at the very end of his list: Robert’s Firecrackers. This is the base form of the Shinobi Firecracker. And you can purchase it for 500 Sen. If you can afford it, buy the item immediately, before you forget.
Robert’s Firecrackers work just like any other Shinobi Tool in the game. You just need to bring them back to the Sculptor, located at the Dilapidated Temple. Return to this location by fast traveling at any idol. The Dilapidated Temple itself is listed under Important Locations. Speak to the Sculptor, select “Present Shinobi Prosthetic,” and finally “Fit New Prosthetic Tool.” The Shinobi Firecracker should be available in this menu now that you have Robert’s Firecrackers. Just confirm the upgrade and you’re done!
How to Use the Shinobi Firecracker in Sekiro
The Shinobi Firecracker is a massively useful tool in Sekiro. Once equipped, it enables you to spray a swathe of fireworks in a wide arc. After a short delay, the firecrackers explode, and any enemies caught in their radius will flinch.
The timing can be extremely tricky. You don’t just have to wait for the Shinobi Firecracker to go off. There’s also a slight windup as Wolf actually disperses the items in front of him. That often leaves you very wide open to counterattacks. And, since the flinch effect doesn’t last long, you might take a blow during that time that staggers you enough to keep you from attacking during the Firecracker window.
But it’s well worth learning the timing. The Shinobi Firecracker, like other Prosthetic Tools in Sekiro, works on most bosses as well as normal enemies. That means you can break even the most stalwart foe’s impeccable guard with a burst of gunpowder. Time it right, and you can deal “free” Vitality damage without worrying about counterattacks. Not to mention you can cancel certain enemy combos dead in their tracks. Finally, the ultra-wide range of the Shinobi Firecracker makes it perfect for distracting large groups of enemies. That’s especially useful early in the game, before you unlock most of the crowd controlling skills Sekiro has to offer.
And there you have it! Hopefully this will help you find — and wield — the Shinobi Firecracker in Sekiro. Have fun with this awesome new tool.
