The carp looks like an old Japanese samurai.

This is an example of how to utilize agricultural water canals (irrigation canals). Some of the region of Japan, which has a lot of snowfall, has clean water all year round and is a high-quality rice-producing area.
In my grandmother's house in Gujō city, there is no carp (Koi) but there is a small water wheel that utilizes the canal to peel taro🤗
Waahhh
Too short, I want more

I am Japanese
Vegetables in places like this are very delicious
It's good to go to Tokyo, but it's also recommended to go to a place like this and enjoy nature.
Woah!
Such a stark contrast…while Japanese citizens are so responsible and respect the environment like this one…Japanese government recently announced that they will release the nuclear waste from the nuclear power plant that was destroyed back in 2011, into pacific ocean 2021, against opposition from many countries and environmental agencies. The radioactive waste will travel along the coastal line, and in a few years will arrive western coast of Canada, USA and Mexico.
A clear reminder that those carps might evolve into a sea serpent, please be careful
This is why they have such a long life expectancy in Japan they have learnt to live with nature and not against it like us in the UK
I wish I could get away from the horrible uk and western life and live in Japan
Feeling a little sad when she called the carp as a family but in the end she ate them 😔
vietnam hi
as cool as this is, I'm curious about how she cleans oil and grease.
Edit: Found the answer, apparently the villagers are under an agreement to not contaminate the water, they use only eco friendly detergents.
So the water is sparkling clean as the carp eats the crumbs. Afterwards carp goes to carp toilet to relieve itself. Perfect system!
So they drink, wash and cook with the water where carps/koi fishes lives?
Woah, that's radical!
fish are so cute <3 why would people eat them? 🙁
But what if the fish took a nuclear dump right where you're washing your dishes while you're washing them?
High culture.
I am envious but can't do it because the water bill is expensive
