Man, this restaurant’s food quality has significantly reduced….. I used to love this place but now…nahhhhhh. Tried twice just in case one might be a off day…. both times major disappointment….

This must be a very popular Korean restaurant. We got there at 12:00 and a crowd of people was waiting outside already. But the wait time wasn’t too bad. The food was delicious. It is a genuine Korean restaurant! Love it!

“Naengmyeon is my favorite Korean dish and this place specializes in it. The naengmyeon here is so delicious and the portions are great too. These cold buckwheat noodles will come with sliced cucumber, half an egg, and a couple slices of meat. You can get it spicy or non spicy. You can flavor the soup to your liking with vinegar and mustard which is at the table. This restaurant is known for its serve yourself hot broth station, where you can get all-you-can-drink broth. The hot broth really pairs well with the cold noodles! The service is super fast, and the restaurant seems to be run by a Korean family, as I see the same staff every time I go. The place is super popular, so make sure you go early! (I try to go right when it opens at :am.) Parking is really bad in the area, so you’ll probably have to park somewhere around the block.”

“The Best Naeng Myun in LA, My Daughter said, and I completely agreed, especially, on a hot summer day! We started out with their “Huge” Kimchi mandoo, whoa….!! 👍👍 Then onto their tasty treat to go alongside with their well known cold noodles, the grilled Galbi ribs (A MUST). As you can see in the pictures of the grilled ribs, it is SO delicious, plus, it is a nice “Finger – Licking” treat! Now, the Naeng Myun cold buckwheat noodle soup, whew!! What made this restaurant noodle soup broth so tasty is the actual combination of the “Mul broth” and the “Bibim spicy sauce” together in the broth with crushed ice that makes for a delicious mix of the two varieties combined. And oh, not forgetting to mentioned, add in the yellow mustard hot sauce for that nice kick to go with the broth. I’m getting salivating again just as I’m writing this review for you to read. Ugh, wish I could have another bowl…….. 🤔 😩😖 Now, go in and get yourself some. You deserve it!!! 😉😋😜”
“Second time trying this place and have to say I’m happy I came back. First time I was underwhelmed with the neng myun, which they are known for but loved the free beef bone broth so much, I thought I would come back and try some of their other hot soup dishes. Well there were three of us (mom and sis) so we decided to order three dishes and share. Neng myun with kalbi combo, spicy neng myun and hand cut noodles with clam. The two neng myun dishes were excellent. Much. Enter than my first trip. The hand cut noodles were also really very good. The only mediocre item was the kalbi. Nothing special and a bit fatty. Why 5 stars then? The free broth! It’s truly amazing. I might just order noodles next time and pour in some free broth 🙂 Service was also pretty amazing, especially for a Korean restaurant 😜😮”

There are some really wonderful restaurants in this area so I don’t know if I’ll be back but don’t take it like I did enjoy my meal. It was good overall. (January 23, 2019, 10:23 pm) The best place to go on a hot summer day which tends to be year round here in Los Angeles. Infamous for their chic naeng myun aka COLD NOODLES, Yuchun serves up the best. period.
My first encounter with cold noodles was awkward. Cold bundles of slippery wet chewiness entering my mouth was not a familiar feeling. Especially when it’s followed by a spoon of savory cold broth riddled with ice chips. Who even came up with this concept?!
However the second time around I became addicted. I can’t pinpoint what makes cold noodles so special. You’ll just have to try it out yourself. 🏴 Flag as inappropriate
