Randolla I am getting this error message every time I start my computer.

It has something to do with ASUS setup. C: users\randolla\AppData\Local\Temp\001022log.iniis Lost

I have no idea what it means nor how to fix it. I am not sure if I need to reinstall something or what it is if I do.

I am also getting a couple of errors in Device manager and O don’t know what they are.

Under Other Devices:

! 690LC

! BCM20702A0

! Network Controller

? Unknown device

I wonder if it is all related. Does anyone know what these devices may be?

Thanks in advance

Hopper64 That network controller I think is the WiFi driver that needs to be installed. The rest I am not sure about. Have you installed all the drivers? You will need to list all your hardware. Hope this helps.

You need to install the corresponding drivers for your unknown devices for them to work. From what I’m seeing, you’re missing the Bluetooth, WIFI, and LAN driver. Not sure if you’ve installed the chipset and Intel MEI drivers but if you haven’t, install them as well. The 690LC device is probably your liquid cooling system.

Popup Error Message when booting computer AsusSetup Log.iniis lost

On Windows startup if you get an AsusSetup dialog box pops up and in the box it says

C:\users\xxxx\AppData\Local\Temp\ 132218 Log.iniis lost

And looks like this

You probably ran CCleaner or similar and deleted this log file from your temporary folder, that is in use by a scheduled task.

This a left over scheduled task from the install of the ASUS chipset drivers.

To get rid of the error message, follow these steps:

Windows repeated error “Windows cannot find C:\Users\HP\AppData\Local\Temp\Install_30150\ins_sm.exe”. Hi all I have a Windows 7 pc. Several times a day, an error message appears which States: “Windows cannot find C:\Users\HP\AppData\Local\Temp\Install_30150\ins_sm.exe. Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. ” Changes in number (i.e. 30150) to each new error message. When I go into the Temp folder I find empty files called Install_30150, Install_21338 etc. I don’t really know what makes these records and which try to run an executable file in them and finds that they are empty! Could you please help? Thank you very much in advance Angeliki (Moved to programs) Hi Elise,. The Temp folder in the location you can get the error is temporary. I get an error, access denied to the C:\Users\myuser\AppData\Local\Temp Original title: access denied to the C:\Users\myuser\AppData\Local\Temp Hello I have a problem with the Windows 7 C:\Users\myuser\AppData\Local\Temp temp folder. Sort randomly, I lose access to this folder, in the sense that if I open a cmd terminal and I try to cd to that folder, it gives an access denied error (at least that I start cmd as administrator). I noticed in the list of permissions on this folder does not appear the SYSTEM. I read somewhere that this is the problem, so I added back, and then it worked. Unfortunately it disappears every day the list of permissions, and I have to put in place every day which is annoying. Do you know what could cause this problem? How can I see which changes these permissions? Thank you Razvan Hi Razvan, Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community According the information you have provided, I understand that you found error access denied when using certain commands to the command prompt. I will certainly help you in this matter. 1. have you logged as administrator? 2. do you have an antivirus software installed? Some commands that you run at a command prompt, you need the administrative privileges for the good functioning of Windows. Error after booting to the desktop: AsusSetup Log.iniis lost

On startup A box pops up and says Asus setup and in the box it says C:\users\xxxx\AppData\Local\Temp\ 132218 Log.iniis lost

The Best and easy solution and my Favorite.

When booting you get error message under “asus setup” 105814 Log.iniis Lost?

You probably ran Ccleaner or similar and deleted this log file from your temporary folder, that is in use by a scheduled task.

Open Task scheduler and expand the” task scheduler library”. Open Asus and select the ” i-setup” task , delete it, and you are done.

Even This work too But I like the first one.

Enter
