Since it’s nearly impossible to defuse the Candy Bombs by matching them, the only viable way to defuse them is to detonate the Cake Bomb before the Candy Bombs explode.
Although you can detonate the Cake Bomb by just matching candies adjacent to it, you’ll increase your chances of detonating it if you make special candies that will remove slices off of the Cake Bomb.
Once you detonate the Cake Bomb it will be a bit easier to make special candies since you’ve got more space to make them in. And the fact that there are only candies of five colors on the playing field doesn’t hurt either. Make as many special candies as you can and when possible combine them to maximize their effects. The best combination for this level is a Color Bomb + Striped candy combination followed by a Color Bomb + Wrapped candy combination.
Every time you clear a candy on the bottom row or left column you should pause for a second and check whether you can match candies on top of Jellies. Most of the time relying only on special candies to clear the Jellies for you isn’t enough.
Match candies near the bottom of the playing field as often as you can. Doing this will shift the largest amount of candies, hopefully start a chain reaction and create new opportunities to make special candies.
While matching candies at the bottom it can be easy to ignore making special candies at the top of the playing field. So pause after every move and glance at the entire playing field to see whether you can make special candies. It would be a waste to miss out on a chance to make a special candy only because you didn’t take your time.
