딸기 가루로 예쁜 색을 입힌 딸기 슈가볼 쿠키를 만들었어요~
쿠키 반죽에도 딸기 가루를 넣고 쿠키 겉면에 딸기 가루와 슈가파우더를 섞어 묻혔어요~
반죽의 반은 동그랗게 모양을 잡아 굽고 남은 반죽으로는 건조 딸기를 쿠키 반죽으로 얇게 감싸 구웠는데 구워지면서 딸기가 수분을 머금어 줄어들고 색이 변하더라구요~
쿠키는 굽기 전에 냉동실에서 30분 정도 굳혀야 너무 많이 퍼지지 않는 것 같아요~
겉에 묻힌 딸기 가루 때문에 첫맛은 새콤하고 쿠키와 함께 먹으면 달콤한 맛이 함께 느껴져 맛있답니다~^^
반죽이 간단해서 쉽게 만들 수 있는 쿠키인 것 같아요~

▶재료
무염버터 60g
슈가파우더 40g
바닐라익스트랙 2g
박력분 90g
딸기 가루 5g
아몬드가루 40g
딸기 가루 10g
슈가파우더 15g
건조 딸기
▶레시피
1. 건조 딸기를 곱게 부수고 체에 내려 준비한다.
2. 무염버터를 부드럽게 풀고 슈가파우더, 바닐라익스트랙을 넣고 섞은 뒤 박력분, 딸기가루를 체 쳐 넣고 아몬드가루를 넣고 한덩이로 뭉치도록 반죽한다.
3. 랩에 싸서 냉장실에서 30분 정도 휴지 시킨 뒤 반죽을 분할하고 얇게 펴 건조 딸기를 올려 반죽으로 감싼다.
4. 남은 반죽은 손에 굴려 동그랗게 만든 뒤 오븐 팬에 팬닝하고 170도 예열된 오븐에서 15분 정도 굽는다.
5. 딸기가루와 슈가파우더를 섞어 쿠키 겉면에 묻힌다.

90g Cake flour
5g Strawberry powder
40g Almond powder
10g Strawberry powder
15g Powdered sugar

“Strawberry Snowball Tree” One of THE most beautiful flowering evergreen trees for us lucky folks in USDA Zones 10 & 11. A WINTER BLOOMER bearing gorgeous 1’ wide clusters of 5 petalled flowers at the tip of its branches. So thoughtfully, this wonderfully species from Madagascar drops its flowers to the ground before they dry up creating a stunning floral carpet. Each flower is 3” across & often presents a conspicuous yellow pollen deposit at petal’s edge. A fairly fast grower, “Strawberry Snowball Tree” forms a narrow upright shape to 50’ tall & 20’ across with attractive bright green maple like leaves. Grow in humus rich soil with an occasional deep watering once established. When young protect below 28ºF. Annie

Evergreen, tree with large, alternate maple-shaped leaves and foot wide-clusters of coral red flowers, which drop to the ground prior to drying, creating an interesting garden effect. Our trees were transplanted from 15 gallon containers at the north side of the Faculty Club in February, 2008, and Margaret Jacks Hall (bottom of stairs near a lamppost) in December, 2007. A third specimen was still in the Grounds’ nursery at that time; it is not known where it was planted.
Name derivation: Dombeya – Joseph Dombey, an 18th-century French botanist.

It is a narrow upright tree to 50 feet tall with large maple-like leaves and in spring the 1 foot wide clusters of coral-red flowers hang at the branch tips. Unlike other Dombeya species in cultivation, the flowers drop to the ground prior to drying, making for a floral display on the ground and a much more attractive tree in and out of bloom. Several large specimens are planted in the Huntington Botanic Garden and a very nice tree can be viewed at Alice Keck Park Memorial Gardens in Santa Barbara. Hardy to 28° F. Plant in full sun and water deeply and infrequently. Dombeya is a genus in the Byttneriaceae family, a recent division from the Sterculia family (Sterculiaceae). The name Dombeya honors Joseph Dombey, an 18th-century French botanist.
