Cast Iron Pot – AYCE Korean BBQ NY
Since he was a child, the owner of Cast Iron Pot, Hyun Pak, envisioned a career in the food and beverage industry. He worked countless hours to save up money to buy a small deli, which eventually became a chain of delis throughout New York City. When he moved to New Jersey, he opened up Zen Zen, an upscale Korean Barbecue Restaurant, in Fairview, N.J. At the time, the move shocked a lot of people because most Korean restaurants tended to be in places where Koreans are densely located. Despite Zen Zen’s success, he wanted to stay on top of the trend. With the recent growing interest in Korean culture and K-POP, he boldly made the decision to switch to an all you can eat Korean BBQ restaurant targeting the younger generation. Hyun’s motto behind Cast Iron Pot is (1) to provide huge portions of quality meat at affordable prices, and (2) to raise customer satisfaction by constantly changing the system in order to be reflexive of customer feedback.

뉴저지 팰팍 근처 페어뷰에 위치한 무제한 고기구이집 ‘솥뚜껑’
페어뷰 (Fairview) 는 북부뉴저지 한인타운인 팰리세이즈 파크 바로 옆에 있는 도시로
이 곳에도 한인 식당이 꽤 많이 있는데
오늘은 그 중에서도 무제한 고기구이집으로 유명한 솥뚜껑 포스팅 입니다 ^^
차는 입구에서 발렛파킹으로 맡겨야 합니다.
뉴저지 무제한 고기구이 ‘솥뚜껑’ 메뉴
1인당 평일 점심에는 $16.95 이고
저녁과 주말에는 $24.95 입니다.
한식당이지만 외국인 손님도 정말 많이 찾는 곳이에요.
자리에 앉으면 솥뚜껑 불판 위에 이렇게 야채가 미리 올려져 있습니다.
딱히 반찬이라고 할건 없고, 샐러드가 기본으로 나옵니다.
사이드 메뉴로 밥, 된장찌개, 떡꼬치, 소고기 무국을 주문할 수 있어요.
먼저 차돌박이를 주문했습니다.
직원분이 인원수에 맞게 알맞은 양으로 갖다 주셨어요.
토시살도 주문하고요.
뉴저지 무제한 고기구이 ‘솥뚜껑’
요즘 한국에선 소떡소떡이 엄청난 유행이죠?
소떡소떡 때문에 떡꼬치가 먹고 싶어서 매운 떡꼬치도 하나 주문했습니다 ㅎㅎ
구수한 된장찌개
막창도 주문했는데 이건 그냥 그랬어요 ㅎㅎ
사진에는 없지만 돼지갈비도 맛있었습니다.
다음에 간다면 차돌박이, 토시살, 삼겹살, 돼지갈비 이렇게만 주문할것 같아요.
최상급까진 아니어도 고기도 맛있고, 직원분들도 친절했는데
한가지 단점이라면 아무래도 모든 테이블에서 고기를 굽고 있으니 환기가 잘 안되서 답답하더라고요.
배부르게 먹었으니 소화 시킬겸 노래방도 다녀오고
팰팍에 있는 한국 카페에서 디저트도 먹으니 한인타운에서 완벽한 저녁을 보내고 왔네요 ^^

(February 1, 2019, 6:32 am) The food and the price was pretty great here. It’s a no frills all you can eat Korean spot. It has a really inconvenient and poorly managed seating set up, and some strange in house rules. I would recommend against going with a larger party. They’re perfectly equipped for it, but we (party of10) waited almost two hours to sit. I’ll definitely go back, but with a group of 3 or 4. 🏴 Flag as inappropriate

The price is amazing, the amount of food is just so much, the seasonings are wonderful, and they’re real quick on picking up the grill and changing it out. Salad is also great!
