Pretty much everything visible has had a change, but the short gist of it; Adapted UI to resize itself depending on user resolution. See supported resolutions thread for more info.
Most windows have increased height and width, to increase space for relevant content.

I’d recommend putting this mod at the very bottom, as in last in your load order.
Only exception is with specific instructions given with compatibility patches, or if you want a specific UI mod to overrule the changes in this one.

Download mod «UI Overhaul Dynamic» for Stellaris (3.4.*)
This is a dynamic resolution fork of UI Overhaul 1080p Plus that expands on its predecessor with support for other popular resolutions with adaptable code, and modifying the UI to utilize as much space that’s aesthetically possible.
It includes increased UI support for buildings, planet districts, traits, ethos etc slots and tries to deliver out-of-box UI support for other content mods wherever possible, or with an compatibility patch if mod is relevant enough.
It does not however, actually increase the numbers, so you’ll need to subscribe to other mods for that, either those listed below or anything else relevant in the workshop library.
Supported Resolutions
Anything that’s not listed will most likely work, but these are the ones I’ve tested the mod with. It should be fine as long as your vertical resolution matches a resolution in the table.

Hi, I’ve recently started to get mods for the game, I got NSC2, Gigastrutures and a bunch more, after a while I saw the buttons and Icons were getting mixed up, so I saw that I needed to download UIDO, I downloaded it from paradox mod database but now my game keeps crashing in the load screen
(I tried turning all other mods off but leave UI on and it still crashed, also I got all of my mods from Paradox mod database because I don’t own the game on steam)
here’s my mod order in the launcher, if It’ll help:

This Official Addon mod for NSC2 changes the starbase window so that all 35 module and building slots will appear without having to scroll.
Make sure to place this addon BELOW the UI Overhaul Dynamic mod in your mod load order.
DO NOT use this patch if you are not using the required UI Overhaul Dynamic mod! Doing so WILL cause your game to crash.

First Upload
If your copy of the mod is not working properly, try these steps in order:
VERIFY MOD LOAD ORDER: Make sure your mod load order is correct. The Paradox launcher requires users to manually set the order in which their mods load. The best way to make sure your mods continue to work is to order them in REVERSE alphabetical order – choose the Z..A sorting option in the launcher. This means that NSC2 should be at the bottom of your mod list, with the only mods under it being those that must overwrite base NSC2 (such as compatibility patches and addons.)
VERIFY GAME FILES: Open Steam, go to your game library, and right click on Stellaris. Click on Properties and then go to the Local Files page, and choose the Verify integrity of game files option. Let Steam download whatever files may be missing or corrupted, and then try again.
RESET NSC2: Delete this entire folder from your PC: SteamSteamAppsworkshopcontent281990683230077 and then unsubscribe and resubscribe to the mod. Verify that Steam is downloading the mod, and then try to run again.
RESET THE PARADOX MOD LAUNCHER: Go to Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris, delete launcher_v2.sqlite, go into the mod folder, delete all of the ugc .mod files, then verify the game cache in Steam and rebuild your mod load order.
If the above steps do not work, back up your custom races and personal mods and delete the entire Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris folder and then verify the game files in Steam like you did above and rebuild your mod load order again.

Stellaris may be about exploring the vastness of outer space. But you’ll spend most of your time reading menus and pop-ups and moving scouts, troops, and workers around the map.
If you want to make your game more enjoyable, you have to start with the user interface.
The UI is one area where I feel Stellaris lags behind other franchises.
I get that it’s a complex game, but sometimes it feels like I’m looking through a seedy internet site looking for torrents without an ad blocker.
Luckily, it’s also one area that modders have put a lot of effort into fixing. Let’s take a look at what they’ve come up with!
8. Dark UI

Not everyone likes the greenish vanilla hue of Stellaris’ UI elements.
It mimics a sci-fi holographic display, which was interesting the first few times I played but quickly got old.
Taking a cue from almost every modern smartphone app, Dark UI serves as Stellaris’ “Night Mode,” replacing the odd green hue with a neutral palette of black, gray, and dark blue.
This makes playing for extended periods less visually tiring and overall gives the game a more stylish look.
7. Planetary Diversity – Planet View

You need to use your imagination to truly enjoy Stellaris. It’s built into the game!
They give you only the most basic visual feedback for other species, the galaxy, and your planets. You’re supposed to imagine the rest.
Still, after playing around with so many new planet mods and the like, I wish I could see more of them.
The Planetary Diversity – Planet View mod helps out by expanding the size of the planet surface artwork in the planet viewer. You’ll get a more complete picture, and it won’t all be obscured by your planet modifiers.
6. Immersive Simple Map UI

One of the hardest things to do when starting out with Stellaris is understanding the interface and, even more importantly, the map.
There is a lot of information, and it’s actually hard to see the stars and planets behind the massive banners hovering over every starbase, planet, mining or research hub, and ship.
Immersive Simple Map UI can improve your map navigating experience by reducing the size of these banners/tags to the minimum necessary – generally just a small icon and some letters in the void.
It’s minimal, straightforward, and much easier to understand for beginners.
5. Enhanced UI Project

An even more in-depth rework of the system and galaxy map UI you have to check out if you believe in minimal interfaces is the Enhanced UI Project.
In addition to reducing the excessive size of the base game’s banners and icons, the mod selectively increases some icons’ size and simplifies their design to make them easier to tell apart.
Something else I love about Enhanced UI Project is that it streamlines finding points of interest like anomalies and excavations by making their icons more visible and identical between the galaxy and system maps.
4. Foxt’s Minimalist UI

I know some of you guys can’t stand that Stellaris doesn’t have some sort of “Hardcore” mode like Call of Duty where you can play with no UI.
You crave having to remember the names of your planets and systems from memory and keeping track of your fleets the old-fashioned way with a hand-made map of the galaxy and some chess pieces.
Foxt’s Minimalist UI is the closest you’ll get to that fantasy.
This mod reduces every map UI element to its minimum expression, making them almost invisible in system view so you can better appreciate the natural beauty of your clusters or the glory of your fleet.
I recommend this for experienced players who know the game like the back of their hands.
3. Tiny Outliner

Sometimes, all you need is a small change to massively improve your experience.
Tiny Outliner is that small change.
The outliner to the right of the screen in Stellaris is key to navigating your planets, starbases, and both civilian and military vessels. Without it, you’d have to navigate to each thing manually, and it would be impossible to keep track of what every ship is doing.
This mod flattens every tab in the outliner, so you don’t have to scroll down to find what you’re looking for.
Before, you could only keep track of around 12 things. Now it’s about 50.
