Del Rio Vineyards & Winery
Conclude your adventure with a SIP at Del Rio Vineyards & Winery, where you can reflect on your day and wind down with a custom estate wine tasting experience. With over 200 acres and 15 grape varietals, Del Rio produces premium wines and is key supplier for fine wine makers.

Reservations can be rescheduled one (1) time at least 72 hours before the tour start time, based on availability of the current season. Reservations with the Tour Protection add-on can be rescheduled one (1) time or canceled and refunded within the current season at least 48 hours before the tour start time. Restrictions:
– Minimum age allowed on this tour is 8 years old (wine tasting age 21+), weight range of 65-275 lbs.
– All tours are weather permitting. Guests must meet Zipline and Rafting requirements.
– Children between 8-13 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18+) chaperon while on the tour
– Gratuity not included in your ticket price, your awesome guides work for different companies and graciously accept gratuity throughout the day. There is not a way to tip them all at the end of the day.

Cancelling or changing a reservation must be done by contacting Rogue Valley Zipline at 541-821-9476. Do not assume a cancellation or change has been made unless you receive your updated confirmation email. This tour is sold by RV ZipLine and Rogue Rafting Co. but services are individually provided by RV ZipLine, Rogue Rafting Co., Laurel Hill Golf Course and Del Rio Vineyards. All tours require a minimum of 6 guests to operate. If you choose a tour that does not meet the minimum within 48 hours of your tour time you will be notified.
Note:
Zip, Dip, and Sip tours are full day adventures! Backpacks are recommended to keep all required items with you throughout your tour. Required medications, water, sunscreen, hat, and a change of clothes for rafting are recommended as you will not return to your vehicles between ziplining and rafting. Closed toed shoes are required for ziplining and water shoes can satisfy that requirement. All hikes total less than a 1/4 mile. Secured locations will be provided throughout the day for your belongings.

This was great family trip.
Bring your kids this is a very safe well organized tour ,the guides are wonderful and make sure you are safe the whole time.
My youngest child is 10 years old.
I think younger children would also have fun as long as they are able to follow instructions and walk.
You have to walk up hill a couple times.
I think the longest walk was about 300 feet.
The tour is about 3 hours no potty breaks or snacks until the end of the tour.
The meeting location is at a small golf course and restaurant,from there you load into a van that takes you up to the zip line area about 4 min drive.

Cold water splashes up and over everyone as the river raft dives through the Nugget Falls rapids along the Rogue River. The brief chill chases away any anxiety as the raft clears the whitewater and continues down river.
The same could be said about the ziplines earlier in the day. Nervous concerns didn’t last long there either.
“I didn’t know what to expect, but once I started, I loved it,” says Cheryl Talbott of Medford, a first-time zipliner. “Having never done this before, I had some apprehension. But now that I know, I’m definitely into this. It’s something I’ve got to do again.”
This is the Zip, Dip & Sip tour, an all-day outdoor adrenalin rush in Southern Oregon.
The morning starts with a three-hour zipline tour with Rogue Valley ZipLine Adventure (rvzipline.com/zipdipsip). After lunch, the heart rate once again quickens with another three-hour tour, this time with Rogue Rafting Company (rogueraftingcompany.com). The day culminates with a relaxing, reflective visit to Del Rio Vineyard Estate (delriovineyards.com) where everyone can exhale and look back on the day.
The morning tour features five ziplines in the trees. Each line is progressively longer, maxing out at more than a quarter mile, 300 feet off the ground. In the distance, the landmark Table Rock formation is visible. On a clear day, the Crater Lake rim is in sight.
“It moves below the forest canopy, then through the canopy and across the canyon. It builds as you go,” says zipline owner Lindsey Rice. “Some people want to go back through it again once they have their confidence so they can enjoy it from a different perspective.”
No time for that today. Rafting is on the afternoon agenda, and once in the water, the river guides take paddlers through a series of rapids.
“We explain the layout,” says Ben Bansen of Rogue Rafting. “It starts out real mellow and then the rapids progress.” Those innocent Class 1 ripples escalate to the soaking Class 4 Nugget Falls and the bottom-drops-out Class 4 Ti’lomikh Falls (formerly called Powerhouse)
“That’s a fun little dip through there for sure,” Bansen says.
Courtney Thomas, hospitality manager at Del Rio Vineyard Estate, hears all about it at the end of the day as she pours tastings for Zip-Dip-Sippers gathered around the winery’s outdoor table.
“People are really just like ‘ahh,’ relaxing, hanging out and remembering their day together,” she says. “They ask each other ‘what did you like better, the zipline or the rafting’ and no one can choose. They are so different.”
The most popular wine selection after a day on the ziplines and rapids? “It’s definitely the rosés,” Thomas says. “They are crisp, clean and refreshing.”

As the weather gets warmer here in Southern Oregon, the outdoor activities become endless. We are so lucky to live in an area where we have countless options when it comes to outdoor adventures. One of those activities includes the Rogue Valley’s Zip, Dip & Sip tour. This this an activity that everyone in the family will enjoy.
When you sign up for your tour, your day will begin and end here at Del Rio. Meeting here in the morning is the perfect way to start off your day of adventure. After you are picked up you will head over to Rogue Valley ZipLine Adventure. You will soar through the trees on five ziplines, followed by lunch at Laurel Hill Golf Course. The next stop on your tour is rafting down the Rogue River with Rogue Raft Company. While you float down the seven mile stretch of the Rogue on your guided adventure you will have a chance to see some of the wildlife that calls Southern Oregon home. Once you have cooled down on your adventure down the Rogue, you will finish off your day with some wine tasting here at Del Rio Vineyards.
We might be a little bias, but ending the day with wine seems just perfect. While you enjoy your flight of five wines that we have selected for you, you are welcome to stay indoors and chat about your adventurous day with the ladies in the tasting room, or relax in our backyard that is surrounded by our vines. Mint Julep Tours, a Louisville-based company that offers jaunts along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail tour and through horse country, is always coming up with new itineraries. Their latest combines a classic distillery experience with a quirky new tourist attraction.
The all-day Zip, Sip & Dip Adventure will first take you to Louisville’s Mega Cavern, a massive limestone quarry underneath the Louisville Zoo that served as a potential bomb shelter during the Cuban Missile Crisis and now holds offices and storage space – and, since 2011, the United States’ only underground zip line system. You’ll brave five zip-lines that run up to 70 feet above the floor and three challenge bridges.
By the end of all that, you’ll probably be ready for a drink. The “Sip” portion of the adventure occurs at Maker’s Mark Distillery in Loretto, Ky., where you’ll take the tour, sample the wares and have a chance to dip your own bottle in red wax.
