Hello everyone and welcome to my channel and in this video today we will see what to do if the bluetooth of your iPhone can not discover any device. Generally you should be able to connect to a bluetooth device easily with your iPhone. So, in this video today we will see some of the steps by which we can fix this issue.
The first thing tha you need to do is to Toggle Bluetooth on and off, restart your iPhone
Swipe the screen from the top.
Switch off the bluetooth and switch on the bluetooth again.
Also restart the phone. For me I have to press the power button and the volume up button for a few seconds and then select power off the device and then restart again. Once done check if you can connect to the bluetooth again.
Disconnect the bluetooth device if it is connected to another device. Check if your bluetooth device is connected to other device. If it is then disconnect from another device and then try to connect to your device.
If the device was connected before then you will see the device in your bluetooth list.
Go to “Setttings”.
Select “Bluetooth”.
You will see all the devices which were connected before.
Tap on the “i’ icon.
Then select “Forget device”.
Once forgotten then try to pair again.
Reset Network settings.
Go to “Settings”.
Go to “General”.
Go to “Reset”.
Select “Reset Network settings”.
Enter the passcode for the network settings.
Then select “Reset Network settings again”.
Remember when you do that one you need to enter the password of the WiFi again.
Also if there is an update available for the iOS then update your device. Sometimes there may be a bug which might be causing the issue and that can be fixed by updating the iOS software.
Go to “Settings”.
Go to “General”.
Select “Software update”.
The device will check if there is an update available.
If there is then update the software.
Reset to the factory settings
The last thing that you can do is to reset your device to the factory settings. But remember when you do that then all the contents of your device will be erased. So it is best to back up your device before you do the factory reset.
Select “Settings”.
Select “Genereal”.
Scroll down and go to “Reset”.
Select “Erase all content and settings”.
Then select “Erase Now”.
This will delete everything and bring you iPhone back to the factory settings.
Check if you can connect to the bluetooth device again.
Try to pair your bluetooth to another device.
To be sure if the bluetooth device is not damaged try to connect your bluetooth device to another device. If it connects to some other devices but not your then might be you have problem with your bluetooth. In that case you need to take your device to the service center.
Also Some of the old device may not connect to the new device. So try to connect another device to your iPhone to make sure that you don’t have a problem with your iPhone.
