Beer Pong (aka Beirut) is an exciting drinking game that you can play with a group of friends or at parties. The game originated in Beirut, Lebanon in the 1980s. Over the years, gaming has become a popular pastime among young adults around the world. It involves four people, teams of two, throwing a ping pong ball across a table aiming at one of the opponent’s cups. If a ball is potted in a cup, the players on the team being scored must drink its contents. As soon as all cups of the other side are empty, this team has won.

WARNING

Play responsibly! Players should exercise extreme caution to avoid over-consumption and alcohol poisoning.

materials

A beer pong table. Alternatively, a ping-pong table or other sufficiently large table can be used while you wait for your beer pong table to arrive.

A couple of ping pong balls. For added intimidation, have some custom ping pong balls crafted with a spell that will send shivers down the spines of your opponents.

12-22 cups (depending on formation).

Plenty of cold beer or other liquid (root beer works well for a more kid-friendly version).

The facility

The table

The game originated on a real ping pong table, but can be played on any flat surface that has enough room to keep the two bowl formations at least 6 feet apart. Official Beer Pong games use a 2 x 8 foot table as sold on our website.

The mugs

Solo or Dixie cups, which hold 16 ounces, are the cups of choice for most beer pong players. These mugs have rigid lines that can aid in accurately measuring the amount of beer (or any other beverage) in the mugs. Fill each cup 1/4 full. In situations where the table is shorter or lower, or teams are unevenly matched, smaller bowls can be used.

The cup formation

The most common formation is an equilateral triangle with either 6 or 10 cups. The formation is assembled on each side of the table.

offense

The two different basic options a beer pong player has on offense are the standard shot and the bounce shot. Both players of one of the teams are given a ping-pong ball to shoot at and can do so at the same time. Both players on each team must have fired a shot before the other team can shoot. The standard shot consists of the player throwing the ball across the table and into an opponent’s cup. The bounce shot is performed by throwing the ball off the table into the opponent’s cups. The ball can bounce and then go into the cup many times, but should be avoided as the impact shot can be blown off your opponent’s hands. This shot is a little harder than the others, so worth two cups. The one it landed in is drawn, then an additional cup is chosen by the team that was scored on.

The center of the cup formation is used as a common boundary, especially when playing on a lower or shorter table. This can be a real benefit for taller players to stretch across the table. This rule is commonly known as the elbow rule. If the rule is broken, the shooter will be forced to retake the shot and any cups scored during this violation will not count. (If you confuse this line, look at the chart of the table in the setup section.)

shot technique

Reracking refers to changing the arrangement of the shells after a shot has been taken. Each team receives only one rerack and may not be used until at least two cups have been crafted. Strategy should be used to choose the right time to rerack during the game. A rerack may not be used in the middle of a throwing round. Only after both players have had their turn may they throw.

defense

ball blockage

A player should be designated to watch over the cups at all times during and during the shooting of the opposing teams. As previously explained, a bounce shot can be hit, but the hitter must be careful not to knock over his own cups or goalies on a set piece shot. If a player knocks over one of their own cups while trying to hit the ball, that cup is removed from play. It can be a team strategy to jump and shoot at the same time to confuse the defense, a standard shot can’t be hit or that’s goalkeeping. If a goaltender steps up, the kicker gets the ball back to replay the shot.

psychological defenses

Getting under your opponent’s skin or “talking shit” is a very effective way to take them out of the game. Women have been known to use their sexuality to deter male gamers by standing in provocative groups. Any form of this is acceptable as long as it does not violate the opponent’s view of the cups.

fingers and blisters

Sometimes when a shot goes into a cup, it doesn’t go straight into the cup. It initially revolves around the rim of the cup. When this happens, women are allowed to blow the ball out of its path and out of the cup. If successful, the crafted trophy does not count. Just as women can blow on the cups, men have the right to try and finger the ball out with their index finger. Both techniques are very difficult and must be performed very quickly because the ball doesn’t spin around the edge for very long.

The game was originally believed to have evolved from the original beer pong played with paddles which is generally regarded to have had its origins within the fraternities of Dartmouth College in the U.S. in the 1950s and 1960s, where it has since become part of the social culture of the campus.

Beer Pong Drinking Game Other names Beirut,[1] Six-Cup, 10-Cups Players Two teams of two players Set-up Time Minimum Playing Time 15-30 minutes Skills Required Accuracy, hand-eye coordination Materials Required Table, plastic cups, ping ping-pong balls Alcohol uses beer

Beer Pong, also known as Beirut, is a drinking game in which players throw a ping pong ball across a table with the intention of landing the ball in a beer mug at the other end. The game usually consists of opposing teams of two or more players per side with 6 or 10 cups set up in a triangle formation on each side.[1] Each team then takes turns throwing ping pong balls into their opponent’s cups. If a ball lands in a cup, the contents of that cup are consumed by the other team and the cup is removed from the table. The first team to eliminate all of their opponent’s cups is the winner.[2]

Venues [ edit ]

A game played in an informal setting

Beer pong is played at parties, bars, and at colleges and universities,[3][4] along with other venues such as tailgating at sporting events.[5][6][7][8]

Origin and name[edit]

The game was originally believed to have evolved from the original beer pong, played with paddles[10] which is widely believed to have originated in the fraternities of Dartmouth College in the US in the 1950s and 1960s where it has since become part of the social culture of the campus. The original version resembled a real table tennis game with a net and one or more mugs of beer on each side of the table.[11] Eventually, a paddleless version was invented and the names Beer Pong and Beirut were adopted in some areas of the United States sometime in the 1980s. In some places, Beer Pong refers to the version of the game with racquets and Beirut to the version without.[14]

Bucknell University’s student-run newspaper, The Bucknellian, claims that members of the Delta Ypsilon fraternity in Bucknell invented “throw pong,” a game very similar to beer pong, in the 1970s[9][15]. and that “Throw Pong” was then introduced at Lehigh University by fraternity brothers who attended Bucknell, and this led to the creation of the version of Beer Pong played today.

The origin of the name “Beirut” is disputed. A 2004 op-ed in The Daily Princetonian, Princeton University’s student newspaper, suggested that the name may have been coined at Bucknell or Lehigh University at the time of the Lebanese Civil War. Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, was the scene of much fighting during the war, particularly from grenade launchers.[16]

facility [edit]

A standard setup for a game of beer pong.

Team[edit]

Beer Pong is usually played with two teams of two to four players each. Each team begins the game by standing behind their cup racks at either end of the table.[1]

playing field [ edit ]

Although the game is typically played on either a ping pong table or a collapsible banquet table, enthusiasts can create a personalized table for use by friends and visitors. Generally this is a sheet of plywood cut to size, sometimes painted with sports, school or fraternity symbols and coated with a liquid-resistant coating.[17][18][19] Some companies sell tables, including portable and inflatable tables.[20] However, the game can be played on any flat surface.

Equipment [ edit ]

Red plastic cups are used in beer pong and other drinking games

The most commonly used cups are disposable 530 ml (18 US fl oz) plastic cups (like red Solo cups) with ridge lines to accurately measure the amount of beer to be poured into the cup. On each side of the table, teams build equilateral triangles with a point of convergence centered on the other team.[1] Games typically use ten cups.[1] Each team also usually has a separate cup of water that is used to rinse the ball down.

alcohol [edit]

An inexpensive 3.2–5% ABV pale lager or beer is sometimes preferred because of the large quantities consumed over the course of multiple games. Sometimes, as per house rules, mugs of other spirits are used during play. For non-drinkers, the game can be played without beer, as is the case at Utah State University, where alcohol is not allowed on campus. Root beer is used instead.[22] For reasons of hygiene, the game can also be played with water cups, from which the players do not drink, but from a separate cup of beer or alcohol.

Gameplay[edit]

Possible beer pong reracks

Traditionally, the game of beer pong was played with countless variations of rule sets. In recent years, organizations like the World Series of Beer Pong have established “official” rules. Typically, players adhere to uniform “house rules”, which are often consistent within a university or region of the country (e.g. “West Coast rules”) or may differ from house to house.[23] Number of cups, hopping, decanting, amount of alcohol, ranged shots to shoot from, etc. can all vary. All house rules should be posted or explained orally before the start of the game and should be understood by both teams.

The order of play varies – both players from one team can shoot, followed by both players from the other team, or players from opposite teams can switch back and forth.[24] A crafted cup must be drunk immediately and removed from the game. Some rule sets allow for “re-racking” (also known as “reforming”, “reordering”, “consolidating”, and other names), which is a rearranging of a team’s remaining cups after some have been removed. The formations, number of cups, when to rearrange, and so on, depend on the rule set. For example, a team with three cups remaining can ask the other team to “retrofit” the cups into a single triangle formation.

Standard house rules allow players to “finger” the ball or blow it out of the cup as the ball spins around the inside rim. Another common house rule states that if a team takes both shots during their turn, a “rollback” occurs, allowing each player on that team to shoot again. In the rules of the World Series of Beer Pong, only one ball “rollback” occurs, resulting in a maximum of three cups that can be made per round.

Before shooting, teams are allowed to dip the ping-pong balls in cups of water to wash the balls off. However, research has shown that the washing cups can still contain bacteria such as E. coli.[27][28] As a result, players can fill the mugs with water instead of beer, and keep a separate beer on the side for drinking.

Shooting techniques[edit]

The typical path for the different shot types

The most common throwing technique is the archery shot, in which one grabs the ping-pong ball with the tips of the thumb and forefinger, holds the arm at an angle with the ball up, and then throws with a gentle elbow motion, keeping the upper arm parallel to the table.[23 ]

Some players throw in a “fastball” style, which uses more of a hard chopping motion to send the ball in a more direct line toward the intended target cup. A fastball shot can be beneficial when house rules dictate that a knocked over cup be removed from the table. In this case, a fastball can clear multiple cups if thrown hard enough.

A bounce shot is performed by throwing the ball toward the cups. If the other team has an opportunity to swipe a rebound ball, a rebound ball may be worth more than a cup, depending on house rules.[23]

Win the game[edit]

If a team makes their last trophy, the other team loses unless they can make all of their remaining trophies; this is called refutation or redemption.[29] If the losing team is able to hit their redemption shots, the game is forced into overtime, where three cups are used instead of the normal ten cups.

Another “house rule” may be established before or during the game in the midst of a shutout. A shutout in beer pong occurs when one team makes all ten of their cups and the opposing team makes none of their cups. If there is a shutout, the losing team must do what the two teams have decided, such as: E.g. strip driving (naked lap) or drinking a large amount of beer.

There are also other ways to end the game, depending on the “House Rules”. Mugs accidentally left on the shelf after being made are known as death/killing mugs. These mugs will immediately end the game if crafted again.

Health effects[edit]

The game may have several associated health risks. As with any activity that involves alcohol, beer pong can result in players becoming intoxicated or even so intoxicated that they experience alcohol poisoning. Some authors have mentioned that beer pong contributes to “runaway” college drinking.[30][31]

The supposed cleaning effect of the water “dunk” cup can be offset by bacteria in the cups.[27][28] During the COVID-19 pandemic, a group of young people in Denmark are said to have contracted the virus by playing a version of the game in which they held the ping-pong balls in their mouths and spat them into the cups.[32]

Legal restrictions[ edit ] [33] Former Steeler candidate and Pennsylvania Gov. Lynn Swann plays beer pong with tailgaters before a football game in 2006.

Some municipalities and states have attempted to ban beer pong either in bars or in general, believing it promotes binge drinking (see Health Effects above). In Oxford, Ohio, where Miami University is located, the city government tried to ban outdoor gambling.[34] In Arlington, Virginia[1] and Champaign-Urbana, Illinois[35] bar owners have been told to stop playing the game in their establishments. In the fall of 2007, Georgetown University officially banned all beer pong paraphernalia such as custom-built tables and possession of many ping-pong balls.

Time Magazine published an article titled “The War Against Beer Pong” on July 31, 2008, which identified legal restrictions and bans on the game in college and elsewhere.

In many states, players put water in cups to legally hold organized beer pong tournaments in bars. Some examples of this can be found in Michigan, Massachusetts, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

Tournaments and leagues[edit]

Beer pong tournaments are held in the United States at local, regional, and national levels.

The World Series of Beer Pong (WSOBP) is the largest beer pong tournament in the world. WSOBP IV, held in January 2009 at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, had a $50,000 grand prize and over 800 participants from the US and Canada.[38] WSOBP V, held in January 2010, had over 1,000 participants including teams from Ireland, Scotland, Germany and Japan. The World Beer Pong Tour has stops in various cities and also has cash prizes.[39]

A more common organization of beer pong games are leagues that operate on a local or regional level. Usually a group of pong enthusiasts form teams (partnerships) and play each other weekly. Sometimes the leagues have websites, leaderboards and statistics,[40] while others were founded by college students for the purpose of intra-campus competition, such as at the University of California, Santa Barbara with the “Isla Vista Beer Pong League”,[41] and at New York University.[42]

media [edit]

The Wall Street Journal, Time and other media outlets have reported an increase in stores selling beer pong paraphernalia such as tables, mats, mugs or clothing.[2][43] Last Cup: Road to the World Series of Beer Pong[44] is a documentary that follows a number of competitive players as they prepare for WSOBP II and eventually compete for the $20,000 grand prize. This documentary, directed by Dan Lindsay, premiered on June 13, 2008 at the CineVegas Film Festival. Rick Reilly wrote an entire column on the World Series of Beer Pong IV for ESPN The Magazine.[45]

The Associated Press cited the game and other drinking games as a factor in college student deaths.[46]

Time Magazine recently ran an article on the popularity of beer pong[43] and posted a video on its website.[47] In both cases, players claimed beer pong was more of a sport than a game – similar to billiards and darts.

The game was a recurring segment on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, with host Fallon playing against celebrity female guests including Betty White, Serena Williams, Anna Kournikova, Charlize Theron and Jessica Alba.

The Colbert report included a section on the CDC study hoax.[49][50]

A sequel to the 2000 comedy Road Trip, Road Trip: Beer Pong starred the game prominently. Agnes Scott College, where most of the film was shot, asked to be uncredited after student complaints.[51]

publish [edit]

On August 29, 2009, Chronicle Books published The Book of Beer Pong, a 200-page fully illustrated guide to the game.[52]

Bud pong[edit]

Bud Pong was the branded version of Beer Pong which, according to brewer Anheuser-Busch, involved drinking water, not Budweiser or any other beer. In the summer of 2005, the company began marketing “Bud Pong” kits to its distributors. Francine I. Katz, vice president of communications and consumer affairs, said in The New York Times that bud pong was not intended for underage drinkers because promotions took place in bars and not on campus. And it didn’t encourage binge drinking, she said, because official rules dictate that water should be used, not beer.[53]

The New York Times quoted a bartender at a club near Clemson University as saying she’s worked at several bud pong events and “never seen anyone play with water. It’s always beer. It’s just like any other beer pong.”[53]

Some have expressed disbelief at Anheuser-Busch’s public statements. Henry Wechsler, director of the College Alcohol Study at the Harvard School of Public Health, said: “Why would alcohol companies sponsor games involving drinking water? with water is about as likely as a teenager using the rolling paper he bought at the supermarket to smoke tobacco.”[54]

However, playing with water has become increasingly common on college campuses due to cost-saving effects. Instead of drinking the beer from a glass every time a player sinks a shot, the player simply takes a shot or sip of their own drink every time the opposing team scores. This is usually done when there isn’t enough beer to accommodate a large number of games during the party.

video games[edit]

Beer Pong Master arcade machine Thearcade machine

In July 2008, JV Games Inc. released a downloadable video game for the Wii console called Frat Party Games: Beer Pong. The ESRB rated it as suitable for ages 13 and up, but after this was questioned by the Connecticut Attorney General, the game was renamed Frat Party Games: Pong Toss and all references to alcohol were removed.

In 2013, a Beer Pong Master arcade machine was launched, with players tossing balls into empty plastic cups at the far end of the machine and attempting to turn off their electric lights.

Why beer pong is called Beirut?

Supposedly, people at Lehigh felt that the U.S. should’ve bombed Beirut in retribution for the attacks, and thought the ping-pong balls dropping to the other side of the table resembled bombs being dropped on the Lebanese capital. They started calling the game “Beirut,” and it caught on.

What’s the difference between…

Beer Pong and Beirut?

Whether you are a current fraternity, aspiring fraternity, recovering fraternity, a romantic relationship with a fraternity, a parent of a fraternity, or a friend or foe of a fraternity, or are otherwise acquainted with a fraternity, you likely have some familiarity with a few beer-soaked drinking games. Chances are that one of these drinking games will involve beer mugs, ping pong balls, and drunk people trying to get the ping pong balls into the beer mugs. But is the game Beer Pong or Beirut? Did the fraternity stars who poured beers and banged their chests and declared themselves champions actually use the right term?

As with many things that involve large amounts of alcohol, the answer is hazy. The first beer pong games were played in Dartmouth in the early 1950’s when people played table tennis and left their beer mugs on the table; Someone decided that aiming the ball at the cups would be a good idea, and a drinking game was born. The game evolved into a competition in which opponents use table tennis bats with broken handles – no handles mean more accuracy – and aim at cups arranged in various formations such as a bush, tree, ship or line. Hit the side of a cup with the ball and your opponent drinks half of the cup. sink the ball successfully and your opponent drinks the whole thing.

Beirut – a game with a similar ending (drunk) but different rules – originated in either Bucknell or Lehigh in the 1980s. (There is some dispute as to where it was first played.) In Beirut, 10 cups are arranged in a pyramid shape on either side of a table; The contestants then stand on either side and take turns tossing the ping-pong ball across the table instead of paddling it. When a ball is potted in a cup, one of the opponents must chug it.

But what’s with the name? The game became popular at a time when Beirut, Lebanon was in the news: in 1983, suicide bombers killed 241 US Marines stationed in a barracks at Beirut airport. Allegedly, people in Lehigh thought the US should have bombed Beirut in retaliation for the attacks and thought the ping-pong balls falling on the other side of the table resembled bombs being dropped on the Lebanese capital. They started calling the game Beirut and it caught on.

But as the game spread across the United States, in areas unfamiliar with the original Dartmouth version, people started dropping the name “Beirut” – calling it “Beer Pong” instead. (Have to say, the name makes intuitive sense even without the use of paddles.) Now…wait a minute…they’re both called Beer Pong. Some might still use the name Beirut — and if they do, you’ll know what game it’s about — but when you hear the term “beer pong,” it could mean one of two things.

A messy story, an unsatisfactory conclusion: sounds about right for a drinking game. Bottom up!

How long is a normal pong table?

The standard ping pong table (aka full size table) size measures 9′ long by 5′ wide and 2.5′ high. There are also smaller 7′ by 3.5′ tables and larger 10′ by 6′ tables but if you want to play on an official International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) size table then choose the 9′ by 5′ model.

The space you have around your table tennis table greatly affects how you play table tennis. The fewer obstacles and the more space you have the better, as some people may find it more difficult to play table tennis in a smaller space. However, with a little planning, you can make a smaller space work. Ultimately, when choosing a table tennis room, you should consider the size of the room, ceiling height, and lighting and temperature.

Below is a guide on how much space is needed for a fun game of table tennis on a standard sized table. We also give tips for playing table tennis in a small space. Plus, a few other considerations when planning where to put your table.

What is the standard size of a table tennis table?

The standard table tennis table (also known as a full-size table) measures 9 feet long, 5 feet wide, and 2.5 feet high. There are also smaller 7′ x 3.5′ tables and larger 10′ x 6′ tables, but if you want to play on an official International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) table, choose the 9′ x 5′ Model. Be sure to check the dimensions of your table tennis table before purchasing.

How much space do you need for a table tennis table?

Since a ping pong table is 9 feet long and 5 feet wide, we recommend at least 5 feet behind each end of the table and 3 feet on each side to allow for enough room to play. This will ensure you have enough room to move around and swing your paddle. So the minimum room size of your table tennis room should be at least 19 feet long and 11 feet wide. Of course, this is your ideal room size, but if you don’t mind leaning against furniture or bumping into the wall occasionally, you might be able to get by with less space. Below we have a few small tips for you.

Recommended ceiling height

How high is a table tennis table?

The standard height of a ping pong table is 2.5 feet. Therefore, when choosing a room, you must also consider the ceiling height of your table tennis room. Low ceilings and hanging lights can get in the way of flying balls. We recommend a ceiling height of 10 feet for your table tennis room.

table tennis net

In terms of blankets, a ping pong net has a standard height of 6 inches and needs to add 6 inches to the length of the table on each side. There are other sized nets that you can use for fun, or if you’re short on space, a tall net can reduce the amount of free space you need.

Tournaments & professional play areas

If you want to practice your ping pong skills or play like a pro, you need more space than the average player. The ITTF, the umbrella organization for table tennis, has strict guidelines for tournament play. Your requirements include a minimum playing area of 16m x 10m (52’6″ x 32’10”). This is a large space but if you have the space it is worth being able to practice and play at the highest level.

The beauty of table tennis is that it can be played on many different levels. As you get better at table tennis, you’ll need more room to move and hit that crucial smash. Here’s a quick table tennis room size guide for different levels of play, from world championships to casual:

International events, World Championships and Olympic Games

14m x 7m (46ft x 23ft)

14m x 7m (46ft x 23ft) National Tournaments

12m x 6m (40ft x 20ft)

12m x 6m (40ft x 20ft) National League / Representative Games

10m x 5m (33ft x 16ft 6in)

10m x 5m (33ft x 16ft 6in) Local League / Local Tournaments

9m x 5m (30ft x 16ft 6in)

9m x 5m (30ft x 16ft 6in) recreational play/coaching

8.5m x 4m (28ft x 13ft)

Play table tennis in a small room

A small room can still be the perfect place to enjoy a game of table tennis. All you need is the right table, some creativity and the right training aids.

Get creative with your space. If you don’t have a lot of room to play, try one half of the table at a time. Using a table tennis table. These attach to your regulars’ table and give you a place to play without taking up a lot of extra space. Another way to save space is to buy a table that folds flat for storage. All Tiger PingPong tables are equipped with an easy-lock handle, which makes them easy to fold and store away to save space. Use exercise nets and other training aids. Nets can help keep the ball in play, making it easier to practice in a small space. You can also use rebound boards and solo playback. If you have a fairly level outdoor area, consider an outdoor table tennis table. This gives you more leeway and ensures great family fun when the weather is nice.

Are there smaller table tennis tables?

Yes, there are smaller table tennis tables. If you are looking for a smaller ping pong table, you have a few options. The most popular dimensions for small table tennis tables are 7′ x 3.5′ and 4′ x 2′. This is perfect for small spaces and stores easily when not in use.

lighting & temperature

Since you want your table tennis table to be in a dedicated space, remember to consider lighting, temperature, and flooring. These factors can affect how you enjoy the game.

Table tennis can be played at different temperatures, but the ideal playing temperature is between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. Also, if the room is too cold, players may not be able to hit the ball. If the room is too hot, players may feel uncomfortable.

In order to be able to play table tennis well, you need good lighting. That means enough light to see the ball clearly, but not so much that it’s too bright. Natural light is ideal, but if you’re playing in a room with no windows, you may need to use artificial lighting. We recommend using bright white light to avoid glare on the playing surface.

What about the floor you play on? Tile or hardwood floors are the best surfaces for table tennis. This provides a smooth surface that is easy to play on and will not damage the ball. If you don’t have either of these options, a rug can work as long as it’s relatively smooth. And if you play outside, concrete or a sports field surface will of course also work.

Final Thoughts

Once you have your table set up, take some time to experiment with different positions around the table. You may find you have more space than you thought – or you may need to get creative with your shots. Either way, table tennis is a great game to enjoy in any space.

Article overview

X

Beer Pong is a fun drinking game where players try to land ping pong balls in another team’s cups to clear them. The team that clears all of their opponent’s cups first wins. Beer Pong is usually played with two teams of two, but can also be played individually. Each team fills 10 mugs one-third full with beer and arranges the mugs in a 4-3-2-1 triangle at their end of a long table. To determine who goes first, one player from each team attempts to make a cup while maintaining eye contact with their opponent. That’s called eye to eye. Players keep shooting like this until someone makes a cup, and the team that makes a cup starts. When it is a team’s turn, the two players on the team each have a chance to put a ball into one of their opponent’s cups at opposite ends of the table. If a player lands a ball in one of their opponent’s cups, a member of the other team must drink the beer in that cup. If both players shoot, each may throw the ball again. If a player throws the ball on the table before it lands in one of the other team’s cups, two cups are discarded instead of one, but the other team can knock the ball away once it touches the table. If you wish, you can play in such a way that teams leave their cleared cups on the table until the end of the shooting round, instead of immediately drinking beer from them. In this variant, if both players shoot into the same cup, the opposing team removes three cups and the shooting team gets the balls back. After the first team has a turn, it is the second team’s turn and the game goes back and forth. Once there are only 4 cups left at either end of the table, the team targeting those cups can request that they be rearranged into a diamond at the start of their turn. Once there are only 2 cups left, the team aiming for those cups can request that they be rearranged into a single file line. If one team scoops all of the other team’s trophies, the opponents get another turn, known as a “refutation.” During a rebuttal, the losing team will continue to shoot until they miss, at which point they lose. If they can clear all of the other team’s trophies, the game goes into overtime and each team gets 3 more trophies. To learn more about different game rules you can try, read on!

What’s the most exciting game you always play at parties? Most of you will say Beer Pong. We fully understand! It’s also one of our favorite games, but instead of letting you play it in its classic version, we’ve jazzed it up a bit with our TruthDare Pong game by adding truth and dare questions. Read on to find out what you’ve been missing out on and see what this game is all about.

We started this concept by thinking about the benefits of playing beer pong. Most people play it as an icebreaker at parties and then keep going until the end of the night. Well, what could be nicer than putting a few questions in the cups so that you can get to know each other while you’re drunk?

The point of the game is to score in opponents’ cups and get them to answer a truth question or perform a dare. The funny thing is that you can always refuse it, but you have to take a shot instead!

truth

Truth questions have been carefully crafted so that not only will you have trouble answering them, but they will also reveal some of your secrets. Let me give you some examples of these sharp truths:

1. What qualities do you look for in a partner?

2. What is your favorite type of foreplay?

3. What animal do you resemble in bed?

4. From this group, with whom do you think you would have a pretty baby and with whom would you have an ugly one?

5. What was the most desperate thing you did to get laid?

6. Point out a teammate that you would do now!

7. Whose mind would you like to read right now and why?

8. Which of your teammates do you think likes SM?

9. Marry your ex or go to jail for a year?

10. Where would you never dare to have sex?

11. What was the strangest sexual request you have ever received?

12. Dominant or Submissive?

13. How long does it take you to get to know someone before having sex with him/her?

14. What was the longest time without sex?

15. Which of your male teammates do you think has the largest and which has the smallest genitals?

Car

The tasks are designed in such a way that you don’t always have to do them alone, but usually need the help of one of your fellow players. So choose wisely because here are some of the challenges you will find in the game:

1. Unbutton someone’s pants without using your hands.

2. Switch shirts with the player opposite.

3. Put whipped cream on a player’s neck and lick it off.

4. Suck another player’s finger over you for 15 seconds.

5. Finish your drink without using your hands.

6. Kiss the teammate all over you.

7. Stand against the wall and let one of your fellow players feel you thoroughly.

8. Do a striptease or lap dance for 30 seconds.

9. Get blindfolded. Feel everyone’s butt and guess who it is. Each wrong tip means a shot.

10. Play the rest of the game shirtless.

11. Talk dirty to a teammate across from you for 20 seconds with your cheekiest look.

12. All players must whisper a secret in your ear.

13. Become a fellow player vibrator. Make noises and movements.

14. Take a body shot. The group decides by whom and where.

15. Have a fellow player search your phone for 1 minute.

Beer Pong Sets & Accessories

How to play beer pong

To start, you need to arrange two sets of cups in a triangular formation at each end of a rectangular table. Then simply fill the cups with beer or another drink of your choice. The main objective of the game, whether you are playing as an individual or as a team, is to get your ping pong ball into one of the opposing team’s cups. If you do this successfully, it’s the bottom for them, and vice versa if they land one in your cup! The basic premise is very simple, but playstyles may vary. Here are some advanced beer pong rules to keep in mind: – Bouncing rules tend to be different, so clarify before you start! – To make sure every player gets a fair shot, make sure everyone is aiming their elbow back at the edge of the table. – When the number of beer pong cups on the table decreases, each side has the opportunity to rearrange them twice per game before it is their turn.
