The main components are the load sensor regulator and the booster cylinder. All components are corrosion resistant. If the system is used properly for the recommended applications, no lubrication or maintenance is required.

SUMMARY
In the automobile, the clutch is a mechanism used to connect or disconnect power from the transmission line whenever necessary. Every time we change gears, we need to disconnect the power supply from the remaining transmission line. Usually this operation is performed by the driver of the vehicle. But in heavy traffic, drivers often change gears. This can tire the operator. To avoid this difficulty we have proposed a system known as an air assisted clutch.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
In our system we place a button that can be operated by the driver with less effort. This button releases the compressed air from the reservoir to the air chamber. The air pressure actuates the pneumatic cylinder and the clutch can be actuated. After changing the gear, we must release the button. Now the clutch comes into its original position. By using this system we can reduce the driver’s effort and it will help him in heavy traffic. The button can be placed at the top of the gear shift lever, so the above operation can be performed while the driver changes gear automatically by pressing the clutch pedal.
