4. Tinder X icon
Tinder X is the left swipe or “no” icon on Tinder. So if you don’t want to match someone, tap on it and the profile you’re currently viewing will swipe left.

5. Tinder rewind icon
The Tinder Rewind icon represents the Rewind feature, which allows you to undo your last swipe decision, whether it was a swipe left, swipe right, or a super like.
If you match someone right after liking their profile, tapping the rewind icon won’t work. In this case, we recommend going to the profile of the new match and unmatching it.
Tinder Rewind is also only available to Tinder Plus and Tinder Gold subscribers; You cannot use it for free unless you are a premium subscriber.

Tinder Top Picks, a premium feature that curates the top 10 profiles for 24 hours, is represented by the Tinder diamond.
If you have a Tinder Gold subscription, you can see the Tinder Gold diamond. When you go to the Top Tips screen and tap a profile, the gold diamond appears next to the person’s name.

What is the heart in Tinder?

What is the Life360 Heart Icon?
Using Tinder is an easy way to meet new people, especially if you’re looking for a date or a romantic relationship.
Tinder is one of the most popular dating apps in the world today. This app allows you to find love in a few clicks.
Before you start clicking and swiping your way towards love, it’s important to understand exactly how this app works.
In this article, you’ll learn everything about Tinder, including how it works and what the icons, icons, or buttons mean.
Tinder profile icons
Every person on Tinder gets their own profile page that includes their name, age, gender, orientation, location, a short bio or description, and photos of themselves.
When you view someone’s profile on Tinder, you’ll see a variety of different icons or buttons that you can use to interact with the app.
Here’s what each icon means:
Blue tick
The blue tick is a new feature Tinder introduced to verify user authenticity.
To get the famous blue tick, you need to verify your identity on Tinder. This can be done by uploading two additional selfies on the app’s settings page.
When the process is complete, Tinder will send you a message to let you know that your profile has been verified.
If you don’t see that little blue tick next to your profile, it means you haven’t verified yourself.
rewind icon
The Rewind button allows you to undo your last swipe action. You can change your mind if you accidentally swipe left, right, or use a Super Like.
It basically works like your “Tinder undo button” to ensure you have the ability to go back and change your mind about the profiles you’ve been matched with.
This feature is only available to Premium members with a Tinder Plus, Gold, or Platinum membership.
Red X icon (swipe left)
The red X icon can be used to indicate that you are not interested in a profile. It performs the same action as swiping left on a photo.
If you swipe left, the profile will be removed from your view without further interaction.
Tapping the X icon will automatically hide the profile from your future view.
Blue Star (swipe up)
The blue star on Tinder is a super like button. If you click the blue star on a profile you like, you will be notified that you liked their profile. You can also swipe up to send a super like instead of clicking the blue star button.
When someone Super Likes you, you’ll see a blue star around their profile.
Free users get 1 super like per day and premium users get up to 5 to use as they please.
Green Heart (swipe right)
Use the green heart icon to like a profile on Tinder. Swiping right on a profile performs the same action as clicking the green heart.
The green heart is the most important feature of Tinder. When you see someone you like, you can press the green heart to like that person. From there, they’ll be notified that you like them and in return they’ll be given an opportunity to swipe right on your profile.
When two people swipe right on each other’s profiles, they’re both notified that it’s a match and they can message each other.
The green heart is important because it makes it easy to show interest in someone else. There is no limit to how many people you can like. If someone likes you back then you made a match!
Purple Lightning
The purple lightning bolt is your Tinder profile’s boost button. Activating this feature will make you one of the top profiles in your area for the next 30 minutes.
A boost can help you get more matches in less time if you want to add some oomph to the app.
When the boost is complete, you’ll see a purple icon next to the profiles that matched you during the boost period.
Tinder Gold and Platinum subscribers get one free boost per month, but you can always purchase more boosts within the app.
Share button
The share button at the bottom of a user’s profile page allows you to share the match with one of your friends if you think they would be a good match. The person you share the match with has 72 hours to swipe left or right before the link expires.
With this feature you can play matchmaker with your friends. So if you see someone who would be a good match for one of your friends, try the Tinder share button.
Gold Heart (Tinder Gold)
Tinder Gold subscribers have access to some really useful features that are not available on the free plan. One of the most useful features is that you can see who has already liked you.
After you sign up for the Tinder Gold plan, you get special access to a page that lists the profiles of people who have swiped right at you. In addition, when you look at an individual profile, you will see a golden heart with three small lines, which indicates that your photo has already been liked.
Black Heart (Tinder Platinum)
The black heart icon is a feature of the Tinder Platinum subscription. This feature allows you to see when someone has already liked your image and give you the opportunity to agree with them right away.
Premium members get access to a page that displays a list of users who have already liked your profile. Click on one of these profiles and a black heart with three small dashes will appear next to the name.
Golden Diamond
The gold diamond symbol is part of the Tinder Top Picks feature. Every 24 hours, the Tinder app selects a small set of profiles near you that are similar to other profiles you’ve liked in the past.
When you click on a user profile, you’ll see a gold diamond next to their name if they’re one of your top picks for the day.
Tinder message icons
blue camera
The blue camera icon in the Tinder chat window gives you the option to have a face-to-face video chat with your match.
Before you can start a video chat, both you and your match must have face-to-face enabled:
Click on your last chat conversation with this match. Tap the blue video icon at the top of the screen. Slide the switch to the right to unlock Face to Face
Blue Shield
The blue shield icon is part of Tinder’s security features. Clicking this button gives you the option to report the user or unmatch the profile.
If you accidentally match someone, click the blue shield icon at the top of the chat box and select Unmatch.
Blue double tick and plus sign
Below each of your messages on Tinder is a double blue tick and a plus icon. This icon represents Tinder’s premium read receipts feature.
By clicking this button you will have the option to purchase read receipts in packs of 5, 10 or 20. You can use one read receipt per game.
With this feature enabled, you can see if your match has read your message or not.
This feature can be very useful when you want to know if your match has read your message and is ghosting you. On the other hand, it can give you peace of mind that they haven’t read your message, which is why they haven’t replied.
While this is a great feature, not everyone wants to share this information with potential matches.
To turn off read receipts in the app:
Go to the settings menu
Tap Manage Read Receipts
Clear the check box
If the checkbox is cleared, read receipts will be disabled for all conversations in the app.
Green Dot
The green dot icon indicates that the user has been active in the last 24 hours. This feature is only available to Tinder Gold and Platinum members.
This information can be valuable when starting a conversation about a new game. You don’t want to waste time notifying people who haven’t been active in the app lately.
Ultimately, if you know someone has been active recently, you have a higher chance of getting a reply to your message.
Keep in mind that just because another user doesn’t have a green dot doesn’t necessarily mean they haven’t been active recently.
You can opt out of seeing your active status to other premium Tinder members by adjusting your activity status in the app.
Red point
The red dot icon in Tinder indicates profiles that are new matches on your account. You can also see the red dot when you receive new messages or other notifications within the app.
The red dot can appear on profile photos in the top line of the app or on profile photos in the message inbox screen.
midday light
The Noonlight button, which looks like a blue circle, is a security feature in the Tinder app. To use this feature, you need to download the separate Noonlight app and connect it to your Tinder account.
Noonlight is a third-party service that allows you to share your location information with select friends, family members and authorities when you need emergency assistance.
With Noonlight connected to your Tinder account, you can share your date times and locations with your friends so they know where you’re going.
If at any point during the date you are concerned about your safety, you can click the Noonlight emergency button to notify authorities of your location and that you need assistance.
The Noonlight app is free to use with limited features. Premium plans are available.
Now it’s your turn

What app icon is a heart with two fingers?
Above the keyboard are icons for a camera, a heart with two fingers, and a button resembling the App Store icon. To the right is the text field for typing your message. The camera icon lets you take a photo, shoot video, or select media from your Photo Library to send.

Learning the basics of what you can do in the revamped Messages app, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of it compared to other apps, can help you decide which service is best for your needs.
What’s new in Apple Messages?
To get the new Messages app and features, you must first download and install iOS 10 (or later). Once your phone is updated, you will find that the UI for composing a message is different.

Send Photos and Videos (New UI)
Above the keyboard are icons for a camera, a two-fingered heart, and a button resembling the App Store icon. On the right is the text field to enter your message.
The camera icon lets you take a photo or video, or select media from your photo library to send. The look is new, but the functionality is the same as before.
digital touch
With the next icon, the heart with two fingers, you can draw, draw on a photo or video, and create special animated drawings like a beating heart. Apple calls this Digital Touch. For example, tapping the screen with two fingers creates a series of kissing lips. If you tap and hold with two fingers, you’ll get a beating heart. Tap, hold, and drag down with two fingers and you’ll make a heart break.
Find out what’s new in Apple Messages
If you send these Digital Touch images to people who do not have iOS 10, e.g. For example, iPhones with an older operating system or Android users will see the base image but will not animate it.
Be careful when playing with this feature! You don’t have the ability to preview your Digital Touch image before it’s sent. As soon as you lift your fingers, it starts! Just be careful when choosing a receiver to use as a guinea pig while learning how to use it.
app store
The Apps Store icon allows you to add special content to messages, e.g. B. Music files, animated GIFs, stickers (i.e. images that resemble clipart more than anything), and more. Some of this special content comes from Apple, and some comes from other built-in apps like JibJab, which creates animated GIFs. For example, the OpenTable app now integrates with Messages, so you can send restaurant suggestions to friends, ask them to vote on a place to eat, and reserve a table without leaving the Messages app.
To get a good change, you need to download compatible apps. Some apps that you already have installed on your phone may have content specific to Messages. Tap the App Store icon, then tap the four circles on the bottom left to search for a few.
Find out what’s new in Apple Messages
Unlike Digital Touch content, stickers, animated GIFs, and other content from the App Store are previewed before they are sent, where you can also paste a text message alongside them.
special effects
Another addition to the Messages app is the ability to add special effects such as lasers or floating balloons that appear behind the messages and fill the screen. When you’re ready to send a message, instead of tapping the Send button, tap and hold it. Some options should appear at the top. Drag your finger up to the one you want and it will be added.
It’s a feature that’s supposed to be available on the iPhone 7 and all phone models, although I couldn’t get it to work on an older device (iPhone 5c) that doesn’t support 3D Touch. My colleague confirms that he was able to do it on an iPhone 6, which also doesn’t have 3D Touch.
Improved text prediction
Text prediction is now permanently enabled in iOS 10, but it’s smarter. Predictive text used to only suggest words you just typed or words that might follow the word you just typed. Now it also suggests richer information. For example, if I type “George’s phone number is,” predictive text will look for “George” in my Contacts app and suggest phone numbers. I can quickly tap one of the suggestions instead of trying to type or copy and paste a long phone number.

Tap Back, Handwriting, Emoji Suggestions
Other new features let you graphically respond to someone’s message, just like you “like” or “love” a Facebook post. Tap on the message you received and six options will appear above it: heart, thumbs up, thumbs down, “ha ha”, double exclamation marks and a question mark. You can also write a text message by hand (turn the phone sideways for auto-rotate when the lock is off) or choose pre-written notes that look like handwriting.
Find out what’s new in Apple Messages
Now when you pull up your emjoi board, Messages will highlight words you’ve already typed if it thinks there’s a suitable emoji replacement for them.
Pros and cons of iMessage
Squeezing all these new options into the Messages app has certainly made it clunkier. There are clearly some early issues as well. As mentioned, I couldn’t get the special effects to work at all on an iPhone 5c. And Digital Touch messages are sent before they give you a chance to make sure they’re right.
Another constant problem I have with iMessage is that you can associate multiple identifiers with your iMessage account, and depending on which identifier someone is using, this can result in you receiving a message late or not at all. For example, my iMessage account is tied to a phone number that’s temporarily banned (I use it when I travel every few months), a second phone number, and the same email address I use for my Apple ID. When friends try to message me from my blocked phone number because it’s in their address book, I don’t see the message until the number is reactivated. In the meantime, my friend does not receive any feedback or error message. So Messages isn’t a great app if you’ve ever changed your phone number.
My sister, who also uses iMessage, only has her phone number linked to the Messages app on her phone, but her email address is linked to the app she uses on her laptop. If I accidentally address a message to her email address instead of her phone number, she won’t see my messages until she opens her computer and starts Messages there. But when I look at my contacts list, all I can say is that she uses iMessage. I don’t have any details on what ID to use.
Another benefit of iMessage is read receipts, which you can turn off. Read receipts let you know that the recipient has opened your message. WhatsApp does the same.
One benefit of iMessage that I’ve glossed over is that you can use it on a Mac. You are not limited to using it on your phone. WeChat also has desktop apps. You can access your Facebook Messenger chats from Facebook.com or Messenger.com (although you can’t see any messages if you go to Facebook.com in a mobile browser, which I find infinitely annoying).
Alternative messaging apps
Some other messaging apps have a similar problem as iMessage regarding IDs. With multiple apps, your account is bound to your phone number. WhatsApp, Viber, and Telegram all require you to authenticate the app with a phone number, and that phone number must be the same phone number as the device you’re holding.
However, I have two phones. So I ended up with two installations of WhatsApp not syncing with each other. It makes it difficult to remember which phone I need to have conversations with different friends.
This is not the case with other apps. With Facebook Messenger, for example, if you’re friends on Facebook, people can easily find you on the app, and adding a phone number is entirely optional. Wickr also makes it optional to add an email address and phone number. By default you are only visible with the ID you create on this platform.
I asked about preferred messaging apps via a Twitter poll, and a few people who voted “Other” told me their favorites were Snapchat or Twitter, which I found unusual because while both services have a direct messaging feature, I don’t think of either of them as messaging apps per se. I see them both more as social networking apps and therefore think differently about their content and the meaning of it.
What’s your favorite messaging app? Why? — Jill E Duffy (@jilleduffy) September 15, 2016 (Opens in a new window)
At least one person also called on Slack, a platform built for “teams” but will sometimes step in for messages among friends, as long as you can convince people to join your team. Slack requires you to first sign in to a specific team account every time you use the app. Having too many accounts is a real headache. The beauty of Slack, however, is that it gives you the ability to heed or ignore messages at your discretion. Slack is all about notifications that you can really customize. So if there’s a group chat about something you’re only marginally interested in, you can mute those notifications. If there are important keywords, you can set up an alert to notify you every time those keywords are used.
From the perspective of how easy it is to find and add friends, Facebook Messenger remains one of the best apps. I personally don’t like it and refuse to install it on my phone except for testing purposes because it collects so much information. But at least once a week someone I know (usually an acquaintance) texts me on Facebook. It reminds me that my phone number is listed in the White Pages.
The new messages offer some fun features to explore, even if they’re not super smooth yet. Just remember that it’s not the only messaging app for iPhone and there are other ways to reach people that might be better for you and your friends.
What is the heart icon on Imessage?
Sending a heartbeat is done by tapping and holding down two fingers. These messages animate then disappear after being sent and viewed unless either user taps the Keep button to save it. If you wear an Apple Watch, the heartbeat will vary in speed based on your recent heart rate reading too so keep that in mind.
What is the Life360 Heart Icon?
iOS 10 is required for digital touch and handwriting in messages on iPhone and iPad, and iOS 10.2 is required for love screen effect, so you need to have the latest software updates for everything to work. Below we look at how this works on iPhone and the steps are very similar on iPad as well.
First, create a new iMessage with or reply to the person you want to message. In the conversations view, you’ll find a boxed icon with a white arrow inside it, showing the camera shortcut, Digital Touch, and the iMessage app drawer.
The middle option, with the heart and two fingers, is the Digital Touch option, which lets you send virtual kisses, your heartbeat, and ephemeral sketches. In the center of this screen is a solid black box that you can tap with various finger gestures and sketch disappearing messages. You can expand the space by tapping the up arrow at the bottom right.
When you tap the up arrow to expand the interface, Digital Touch also displays a detailed explanation sheet, telling you which gestures perform which actions. For example, you can send a kiss animation when you tap the surface with two fingers. Sending a heartbeat is done by tapping and holding with two fingers. These animated messages then disappear after they’re sent and viewed, unless one of the users taps the “Keep” button to save them.
If you’re wearing an Apple Watch, the speed of your heartbeat will also vary based on your most recent heart rate reading, so keep that in mind. You can also send quick sketches with Digital Touch, which allows you to be more creative with color and design.
Simply slide your finger over the surface to be drawn. You can change the colors using the color picker to the left above the camera icon. Each drawing can also contain multiple colors.
Digital Touch Sketches contain color and will disappear after viewing if not kept. You can send handwritten messages if you prefer to write in black ink and the message will be preserved by default. Both methods animate the message to the recipient as you drew it.
Rotate iPhone to landscape to reveal the sketch key in the lower-right corner of the keyboard. You may automatically see the handwriting interface (in which case you can tap the keyboard icon in the lower-right corner to toggle between modes). From here, just finger write what you want to say and tap Done to save it for sending.
Just tap the blue circle with the white arrow to send your handwritten message to the recipient, or you can optionally add a love screen effect here if you’re back in portrait mode. Screen effects can be applied to regular messages with text or even messages with stickers or handwritten notes.
Long press or firm press (on newer iPhones) to access the Send with Effect menu, then tap the Screen option at the top. Balloons are the first option. Swipe twice to access the love effect, then tap the blue send button to share your message with the animating reflective heart balloon.
Handwritten notes can be particularly impressive when created with Apple Pencil on iPad, but a quick sketched note with your finger on your iPhone can also be charming.
You can also use sticker packs, including Apple’s Smileys pack and many options on the App Store, to get in the Valentine’s spirit. For more information, check out Jeff’s in-depth look at using all of iOS 10’s messaging features.

What does the heart mean on Google?
This icon turns red when users tap on it. It’s similar to the way users like tweets or posts on other social media platforms such as Instagram. This new heart icon, just like the previous icon, informs Google if users want to see more of similar content in their Feed.
What is the Life360 Heart Icon?
Google has started rolling out a major change to Google Discover. The company has started rolling out a new heart icon for Google Discover.
To give you a quick overview, Google Discover, formerly known as Feeds, is a service that allows users to discover content that is relevant to them. This includes not only news content, but also blogs, music and videos.
According to a report from Android Police, Google Discover used to have an icon with a circle and two lines, one at the top and the other at the bottom next to the hamburger menu. Tapping this icon opens the More or Less icon panel, which tells Google whether users want to see more or less similar content.
Now the company has started replacing the aforementioned symbol with a new heart symbol. This icon turns red when users tap it. It is similar to how users like tweets or posts on other social media platforms like Instagram. This new heart icon, just like the previous icon, lets Google know when users want to see more similar content in their feed.
While this isn’t a huge change, it certainly represents a change in approach when it comes to design.

We’ll talk a little more about Life360’s behavior below. But first, let’s talk about how to tell if someone’s phone is off. Of course you could call the person. If the phone goes straight to voicemail, it’s probably turned off or the battery is dead. But Life360 makes sure you don’t have to.
When you open the Life360 app you should see your circle with a map on the home screen. If you swipe up from the bottom of the screen, you’ll see a list of people in your circle.
Each person has a status under their name. Some will tell you the person’s location with a street address, others will tell you that the person is one of the recognized places (that you’ve set up), still others can tell you that a person’s location services are turned off, and Recently you can see that a phone is turned off.
Well, a common excuse for this is that a phone died. But Life360 catches us doing it too! Phones that have their location enabled show a percentage of battery life just below the profile icon. People in your circle will also get a notification when someone else’s phone is weak. So if you turn off your phone at 60%, chances are you’ll get caught for that excuse.
use of the app
While Life360 is the ultimate app when it comes to location sharing, that doesn’t mean almost anyone can access your location. The app is used to show the locations of other inner circle members. You can create your own circle – a safe environment where care and safety are paramount.
Of course, in order to use the app, you must first download it to your phone. Of course you have to register your account. To do this, you need to share your email address and phone number and set up a secure password. All of this is for your safety and that of your family.
Each member within the app group must be registered in order to use it. After everyone in your family has completed the registration process, you can begin adding each other to the group. Of course you can use separate circles for as many groups as you like. If you wish, you can also upload your own profile picture. This is recommended to everyone in the circle for easier tracking.
Set up circle
Setting up a circle is pretty easy and straightforward. Of course, any member you wish to add to your circle must have the Life360 app installed on their smartphone. To create a circle, navigate to the top left corner of the app and select the menu icon. From the next menu, select Create Circle. A code will then be sent to you. Use this code to add people to your circle.
After setting up a circle, you should be able to see all members on the featured map. If they use a profile picture, you will see it on their map location. Now tap on any of your children’s icons and use the menu to select the school they attend. The app will then notify you every time your child leaves or enters school.
limits
Although Life360 is a powerful app, it relies on the phone’s GPS location. GPS location sharing is selected on a specific smartphone, which means any user can “disappear” from the map simply by turning off their location sharing options. Another way to stop location sharing is to sign out of the app. Of course, deleting the app also makes the user appear offline.
However, one really fantastic feature that the Life360 app offers is the ability to see the remaining battery of all the contacts in your circle. Therefore, you can tell if your kid just turned off their phone to prevent you from knowing where it is or if the battery is legitimately drained.
The information
In addition to the obvious location sharing information, Life360 offers the battery life information mentioned above, which can be incredibly useful. Aside from acting as a sort of “kid lie detector,” it can also alleviate a lot of worry and anxiety when it comes to not knowing where your child is. Instead of imagining horror story scenarios in your head, you can simply track your child’s battery level.
Another great benefit of using this app is access to the location history of every user in your circle. The search history works for the last two days, so you don’t have to constantly monitor your kids. You can easily see where they’ve been and when their location sharing options were toggled on/off.
If your child turns off GPS location sharing, the app will notify you. If your smartphone is switched off or has no network access, the app will notify you. Simply put, this clever app can no longer be tricked, and you as a parent can no longer trick you.
share location
To toggle location sharing settings on or off, go to Settings and navigate to the circle toggle at the top of the menu. In this view you will see a list of the circles you are a member of. This means you can turn off location sharing for specific circles while remaining visible to others. To turn location sharing on or off for a specific circle, select the circle and simply swipe location sharing.
Keep in mind that location sharing settings can sometimes be a bit buggy, so don’t blame your kids right away. This usually happens when you get a new phone or when it is used on another, additional device. In this case, simply enable the location sharing settings manually.
If the connection is lost, restart the Life360 app to reconnect. Sign out and back in. Before finally contacting Life360 technical support team, try restarting your smartphone.
Family tracking made easy
Life360 is one of the most popular location sharing apps out there. It is aimed specifically at inner-family circles and offers unique options such as battery level display and location notifications.

Does Life360 tell you when someone checks your location?
No, Life360 does not notify the users when someone is checking their location. Through Life360 Circle, you can see real-time location information on each other on a private map and even set up automated alerts when someone arrives or leaves a destination.
What is the Life360 Heart Icon?
From a privacy perspective, this can be a good thing, as many people using the app may want to know which member of their circle has checked in at their location at any given time.
So does Life360 tell you when someone checks your location? Here we will answer this question comprehensively and satisfactorily.
Does Life360 tell you when someone checks your location?
No, Life360 does not notify users when someone checks their location.
Through Life360 Circle, you can see real-time location information on a private map and even set up automatic notifications when someone enters or leaves a destination.
Within the iOS or Android app, you can also communicate with each other in a group chat based on your circle.
However, if someone checks your location, neither the Android nor iOS versions of Life360 will notify you or give you a hint.
Is it possible to track someone on Life360 without them knowing?
This is impossible as Life360 is not a spy app. The app requires you to voluntarily share your location with the other members of your circle, and you can revoke this permission at any time.
In fact, Life360 may not be able to function properly without all the permissions that each member of the Circle must grant.
In order for you to use the app to track another person, that person must be a member of your circle, which means they have given you consent to track them.
Therefore, Life30 does not track anyone without their knowledge.
What can parents see from Life360?
Parents using the app see what everyone else in the circle sees, with the exception of Life360 account settings.
Each member of the circle can view or share their location and receive alerts such as safe driving and other alerts.
Any member of the circle can also deactivate their location at any time.
It’s also worth noting that the members of the circle, including parents, can only see what the app is for.
The app will not show you texts and calls that a member sends or receives. It is intended to only share information about the device’s location and no other types of data.
Want to get around in Life360?
But sometimes you may even need to keep your location private, and if you don’t want to go off the circle or delete Life360 from your device, the best way to do that is to spoof your location.
By temporarily moving your location to another location, you can do what you want to do without your circle members knowing about it.
Below are the best ways to spoof your location on iOS and Android devices:
Get around Life360 on iOS
To easily spoof location on your iOS device, we recommend using MockGo. This is a desktop iOS GPS spoofing tool that allows you to change the location on your iOS device without jailbreaking the device.
It allows you to easily and very quickly teleport your iOS device to any place in the world or even use the multi-stop feature to move around in the new place.
As you can probably guess, this makes it a very useful solution with a great many different uses.
However, if you simply want to change the location on your iOS device, the following simple steps will be very helpful for you:
Step 1: Download and install MockGo
Since this is a desktop solution, you should first install it on your computer.
To do this, click the “Download” button to download the setup file. Open this setup file and follow the instructions to install the program on your computer.
Step 2: Connect the iOS device
Once installed, open MockGo. Now use a USB or Lightning cable to connect the iOS device whose location you want to change.
Once the device is properly connected, click the “Start” button to begin spoofing your location.
Step 3: Change the location of the device
To change the location of the device, click on the “Teleport Icon” (the first icon in the top right of the screen).
In the search bar, enter the new location you want to use, then click Go.
A pop-up window will appear with the location you selected and the distance from your current location.
Confirm this is the exact location you want to use, then click Move Here. Your location changes immediately.
Get around Life360 on Android
For Android devices, you can spoof the location on the device by using one of the many location spoofing apps available on the Google Play Store.
However, before you can use a location spoofing app to change the location on your device, you need to enable developer options on your Android device.
That’s how it’s done:
Step 1: Open the Settings app on your device and then tap on “System”.
Step 2: Tap “About phone” and then select “Software info”.
Step 3: You should see “Build Number” as one of the options. Tap this option at least 7 times.
You may be prompted to enter the device’s passcode to complete the process. With developer options enabled, you can now download a location spoofing app and follow these steps to use it to change location on your device.
Step 1: Go to Google Play Store and search for Fake GPS Location app. Install the app on your device.
Step 2: Once the app is installed on your device, go to Settings > System > Developer Options and tap “Choose Mock Locations App”.
Step 3: Select the fake GPS app that you installed in step 1 above.
Step 4: Now open Fake GPS app and use the map to choose the location you want to use.
Step 5: Confirm the selected location and then tap on the “Play” button to change Android device location. This is the location that Life360 recognizes.
It is important to note that Life360 is a location sharing app and therefore does not provide any additional information about the device to your circle members.
And if you don’t want them to know where you are without deleting the app, we’ve provided you with an easy way to at least temporarily change the location on your device.

What is the Life360 Heart Icon?
hinge
Why we chose it: Hinge gives you a limited number of connections per day, making it a better option for people looking for more serious relationships.
advantages
Shares more information about people, including likes and dislikes
Feels more focused on meaningful conversations and building a relationship
Disadvantages
Only offers a limited number of matches unless you pay for the upgrade
Wants people to pay to give matches a “rose” which makes the app a bit confusing
Hinge started out as a way to connect friends of friends and people in your network. When it was founded by CEO Justin McLeod, the app featured people’s profiles based on proximity, as well as Facebook friends they shared together. Now it simply connects users to people near their chosen neighborhood.
Users can connect with someone by tapping the conversation button and syncing a page or leaving a comment. Profiles offer prompts to get the conversation going, like “If loving this is wrong, I don’t want to be right…” and “The only thing I’d like to know about you is…”.
Hinge shows you more information about people, so if you’re uncomfortable meeting strangers from the internet, this makes it easier. It gives you people’s last names and usually their neighborhood, age, height, job, hometown, and college.
The app is free but wants people to pay by asking them to pay for virtual “roses” meant for standout games that the service chooses for you based on what you’re looking for. It all feels very much like an episode of The Bachelor. Choosing the algorithms for your best match on a daily basis is also notoriously unhelpful. Often they choose someone who is extremely distant or with completely different political affiliations. In some cases, they might show you someone you already know, which can be a bit awkward.
Unlike other apps that require you both to agree before a message can be sent, people on Hinge can send you an opener to get the conversation started. While it is free, there is also a paid version. The preferred membership costs around $30 for a month, $60 for three months, or $90 for 6 months and allows you to send unlimited links and set stricter filters.

Getting to know iOS 8’s Health app
Jason Cipriani/CNET
After upgrading to iOS 8, you will see a new icon on your iPhone’s home screen. The icon, white with a red heart floating upwards, is for Apple’s new health app.
The app allows you to monitor your physical activity using the iPhone’s motion sensors, enter your body measurements and create an emergency ID card. Other than that, it doesn’t seem like there’s much else to do in the app. And until third-party developers and hardware manufacturers release updates to products, not much can be done.
What the health app is meant to and will do is gather all your personal health information into one place using different apps and fitness equipment. The result makes it easy for you to paint your entire health picture without having to jump back and forth between numerous apps and collect the data yourself.
If you add apps that want to share or access information stored in the Health app, you’ll be prompted to give the app permission. For each type of data that an app wants to access or share, you must grant it access.
Screenshot by Jason Cipriani/CNET
dashboard
On the Health app’s Dashboard tab, you can pin the different types of data that you want quick access to. To pin something to the dashboard:
Select the Health Data tab
Then select a data type
Turn on Show in Dashboard
A card with a chart for the appropriate data type is placed on the Dashboard tab. Tap and drag the cards to rearrange them in your preferred order.
Sources
The Sources tab shows you the various apps or services that are currently streaming your health information to the Health app.
medical card
The last tab in the Health app allows you to enter your personal medical information to create a medical ID. During the setup process, you can enable access to your ID on the lock screen; EMS workers will undoubtedly learn to pay attention to this in the near future. Otherwise, your Medical ID will be stored in the Health app for emergencies.
The most appealing thing about Health on iOS 8 is that it lets you buy any fitness product you want, rather than being locked into one ecosystem (e.g. Fitbit or Jawbone). As long as the creators of the fitness trackers, scales, and other health-related accessories allow data sharing with the iOS 8 Health app, you can use the products that work best for you.

“What Is This Heart-Shaped Icon?”
Guests asking questions about the meaning of notification icons displayed on a partner’s phone should not reasonably expect an answer from us. We understand why these questions are being asked, but we are unable to assist or comment.
There’s often no mention that it’s a partner’s phone, but since nobody would ask for anything on their own phone – you just have to swipe down to see more notification details – it’s obvious that the question relates to that someone else’s phone.
There are several things to consider:
First, icons with hearts don’t necessarily have a sexual or romantic meaning.
Second, people have sexual and romantic relationships. These will likely be hidden from partners, so don’t expect notification icons as indicators. Some smart people might even hide secret relationships behind innocent looking decoy symbols.
Third, by asking us what such icons mean, especially without stating up front that they’re on someone else’s phone, you’re trying to use us to help you invade someone’s privacy, and that we will not do.
There may be instances where requests for icons are warranted – such as those seen on the phone of a young or vulnerable person – but that would need to be fully explained upfront, and best by leaving us out of the game and just talk to the person face to face.
What is the Life360 Heart Icon?
If you are new to Life360 you may find it a bit complicated and difficult to understand. The Info and FAQ section on the official site mainly deals with big issues and omits some of the smaller stuff. Unfortunately, it doesn’t explain the heart symbol.
If you don’t understand the meaning of this symbol, you’ve come to the right place. Read on to learn all about it.
What’s driving the confusion?
The heart icon is in the app’s assets library and you can use it in Life360, although it only appears in certain circumstances. Its function and meaning deviate slightly from the standard, hence the confusion. Typically, a heart icon is associated with a lover or romantic relationship. However, the heart symbol in Life360 means that you are looking at people in your family circle.
What is a family circle?
A Family Circle is a music band, magazine, variety of cookies, and feature on Life360. If you wish, you can set up a family circle on Life360 and use the heart icon to represent its members on the map. This way you can distinguish them from people who are not your family members. The icon becomes more useful the more people you can track.
Just like Facebook, you can add people to your profile and then assign labels to them. You can set which profile is your mother, father, siblings, etc. The people you add to your family circle don’t have to have the same last name as you, and they don’t even have to be part of your family. The purpose of your family circle on Life360 is to lump all your most important contacts together.
If you were to use the app to track your employees, you would set up a workmate or employee circle. You would not include her in your family circle.
Why the heart symbol?
But why is the heart there? You can open your map and see many people you know. In this case, the heart symbol would indicate which people are members of your family (i.e. your family circle).
Why not use the heart symbol for your lover or spouse?
Another reason for the confusion is that love heart usually means something else. Although people love their families, the love heart (at least in the west) is culturally linked to romantic love. This idea is supported by things like Valentine’s Day and Cupid’s arrows in people’s hearts.
Can you create a new circle?
In September 2013, Life360 expanded the Circles feature and released it to the public. This allowed users to add users to separate groups. Back then, users were allowed to define the groups to which they assigned people for the first time.
For example, you could have one for your baseball team called “John’s Baseball Team,” or one for your extended family, or one for caregivers, and so on. BMW had circles that it used for different employees.
People can see people in their circles?
The idea is that you can seek out other people in your circles. You can be a member of three circles. You can be part of the Family, Friends, and Extended Family groups. People in all three can see your location, and you can see where they are. However, someone in the Family circle cannot see anyone in the Friends circle unless that person is a member of both groups.
heart is for family
The Life360 website and app don’t explain what the heart symbol does or means, but we’re sure you’ll be pleased to know that it denotes members of your family circle. It’s not a big feature, but it can be useful when the map is crowded.
Do you think Life360 should offer better and more detailed tutorials? Do you think the heart symbol should only denote lovers? Let us know in the comment section below.
