Sonic is known for having some of the best frozen and cold treats of any fast food restaurant.

They also offer special promotions and prices, especially during the summer, to entice customers to cool down and relax with something cool.

While Sonic has a fairly tried and tested menu selection, some items can come and go.

Does Sonic have banana splits?

No, Sonic no longer has banana splits on the menu.

However, you may be able to have one made to your specifications.

Some Sonic restaurants have all the necessary ingredients on hand to make a banana split.

You can ask them to make a shake, sundae, or sundae that includes all of these ingredients.

It might not be the same as a traditional banana split, but it has the same flavors.

Some Sonic restaurants may refuse to cook such a treat.

What did Sonic put in her banana splits?

The recipe for a Sonic banana split is very simple and is similar to how other ice cream shops make their banana splits and how many people make them at home.

Sonic used an oblong plastic tray to hold the banana split.

Specially designed for banana splits, this plastic container is designed to hold all the ingredients and offer them in the classic presentation customers have come to expect.

The treat begins with a whole banana being cut in half lengthwise.

Each half is placed on one of the long sides of the container.

Then three dollops of ice cream are placed between the bananas.

Chocolate syrup, strawberry topping, and pineapple topping are individually added to each dollop of ice cream.

The entire dish is topped with whipped cream and nuts, and a cherry has been added to each dollop.

Sonic banana splits also came with a plastic lid so you could eat them when you got home.

Sonic also allowed customers to customize their banana split if they preferred a different combination of ingredients and toppings.

At one point, Sonic offered a Banana Split Blast treat.

It was a new take on the classic banana split, but used Sonic Blast treats instead of nuts and sauce.

Customers could also choose to add or omit the bananas.

Since there were so many options for Sonic Blast toppings, this meant there were many options for the Banana Split Blast.

Sonic also had a smaller version of the classic banana split called the junior banana split.

There’s no clear reason why some Sonic restaurants have stopped selling banana splits.

The likely reason is that there was less demand for this sweet treat in some regions, and those are the restaurants that discontinued the item.

Sonic stores that have sold many banana splits are the ones that still feature them on the dessert menu.

Some Sonic restaurants have also reduced menu sizes to give staff fewer things to prepare and allow them to get food and treats quicker.

Many Sonic restaurants are very small and don’t have much space for food storage or prep.

Reducing the product range meant that fewer items could be ordered at once, fewer items had to be manufactured at one time and fewer items had to be stocked.

Most Sonic restaurants still have most if not all of the ingredients needed to make banana splits.

Many people believe the reason the item was discontinued is that it took too long to manufacture and had too many replacement options.

The staff had to split the bananas, arrange them in the container, add the individual toppings, add the whipped cream, and add the nuts and cherries.

While it seems like a simple process, this can take a long time when multiple customers have orders and staff are struggling to get everything done quickly.

By serving items that are quick and easy to serve, Sonic can get more people through the drive-thru queue faster and make more money.

Another theory is that the price point just couldn’t cover the cost of the treat.

Banana splits are packed with ingredients, many more than most of the other ice cream options on the menu.

To cover the cost of these items, Sonic would have to increase the price of the banana split.

Most customers would not be willing to pay the higher price and thus the banana split would not be a moneymaker for the restaurant.

Does Sonic sell mini banana splits?

Some Sonic restaurants sell Junior Banana Splits, which is a mini option.

Restaurants that don’t sell the full-size versions probably don’t sell the junior version either.

The junior version is simply smaller.

Many Sonic restaurants that don’t advertise or feature banana splits on their menu make a smaller version in a sundae that contains the same ingredients as a banana split.

Some call it a mini banana split, some call it a banana split sundae, and still others call it a banana split junior.

After hitting 4,000 of its social media followers, major ice cream maker Turkey Hill shared the results of its survey with Reader’s Digest. Surprisingly, classics like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry didn’t even make the top 10.

Turkey Hill Dairy, Conestoga, Pa.’s brand new Mystery Flavor is no longer a mystery. Turkey Hill revealed the mystery flavor is blueberry pancakes, which combine breakfast and dessert “to create a flavor so delicious you’ll scoop seconds every time.” Flavor detectives who cracked the case and got the limited edition flavor right guessed were entered for a chance to win ice cream for life, the company said.

Turkey Hill first introduced Mystery Flavor in January and launched a sweepstakes that challenged ice cream fans across the country to put their taste buds to the test. Turkey Hill has since shared hints online, teasing the new flavor with references to maple syrup, blueberries and pancake batter. Turkey Hill says the new flavor is delicious. The bright blueberries complement the familiar flavors of maple syrup, drizzled over fluffy pancakes to add an extra sweet touch to an everyday treat.
