My only success with Oxpho Blue… Let’s see if it gets posted appropriately. Ahh; posted it! So I’ll go one step further and say that this is not a surface finish. It’s literally in the steel and as dark as it gets. It does not stain and does not rust any further. But like I said, it wasn’t repeatable elsewhere. But the second time I applied it, it started staining in some places; just like the first try. However, I quickly grabbed the steel wool and started rubbing out the stained effect. In the evening it started; keep darkening all the time. After all, it made sense to me that if steel wool between coats would ultimately make up for it, steel wool throughout the coat should skip all that BS. And yes; sure enough; it did! This finish was acquired with one application. Too bad it couldn’t be repeated…
