Accordion Buttons
You can use any HTML element to open the accordion content. We prefer a button with a w3 block class to span the entire width of the page (100% width).
Remember that buttons in W3.CSS are centered by default. Use the w3-left-align class instead if you want to left-align them. You don’t have to follow our approach though – an accordion looks good either way:

To make an oven, punch out a window shape from silver foil cardstock. Trim the window below the center rail to create the oven shape. Lay the bottom of the window on top to create the oven handle. Glue acetate into the opening. Glue some die-cut or die-cut cupcakes to a 1 3/8″ x 1/2″ gray card stock backing. Glue the oven to the center of the card base.
Emboss tan cardstock with a wood grain embossing folder. Cut two pieces to 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ to create closet doors. Sponge around the edges if desired. Glue the doors to the left and right of the oven with dimensions.
Decorate the card as you like. For a kitchen-themed card, glue the black cardboard piece to the top of the bench to create a hob. Punch 1 3/8″ circles from leftover gray cardstock, then punch and place 1 1/4″ and 1″ silver foil circles for the burners.
Glue the ends of the notched piece to the back of the card, level with the top of the front.
Glue the long 2″ x 8″ strip to the bottom left of the card base by applying glue to the left underside and to the 2″ side of the piece you scored in step 3 (this is the “bench”) .
Score the panel on the long side at 2 inches, then turn the panel on its back and score at 3 7/8 inches. Repeat this scribe pattern for the right side of the card base. Fold along the score lines to create a U shape as shown.

I wish you all a blessed Easter. Today’s video is a beauty…even if I say so myself! It took some time to figure out the sizes of all the elements needed, but it was well worth it! I was asked to make a bank folding card by another hobbyist and I was interested in finding out how to make these cards with a shelf.
There are already many bench fold card videos on YouTube but I haven’t found one that meets all my needs. I picked the bits I needed and added my spin which is why I had to do a lot of measurements! When I wanted to put a lace doily (or runner) on my vanity, I went through all my die sets to see which dies I could use. I found fifteen that I showed in the video and said I’d stick them on a sheet with the names of the dies they came from and share a photo.
The three I used on my three cards are Stitched Nested Dies No. 1; Sewn So Sweetly Die #1; Sewn labels dies. Obviously this card folds flat to fit in an envelope and when the card is set up it is surprisingly stable. This is because there is a bracket in the map that is not visible. The table rests on the strut and I added two small vases from the Varied Vases stamp set (not Vibrant Vass as I said in the video!) which I placed on dimensionals.
On my prototype (test) card, I added a piece of whisper white cardstock to the back to add a greeting. Although I had embellished two diagonally opposite corners with die-cut and die-cut flowers, I wasn’t really happy with it. When I made the second card, I die-cut the largest Whisper White Stitched Shapes Oval die and placed it on a piece of slate gray card stock I used the #7 Serrated Ovals dies from the Layering Ovals dies.
This looks so much better because it follows the oval shapes of the mirror and the jagged layering for all mirrors. When I made the video card, I suggested that the WhisperWhite oval be glued onto the card only after the saying was stamped and/or the greeting was written. When the card is folded flat, bumps can be felt under the area covered by the oval, making stamping and/or writing difficult!
Another idea I had was to put something on the dressing table. I used the perfume bottle from the Dressed to Impress stamp set to demonstrate my idea. I was hoping to use this bottle but it was too big. As you can see from the back, I added an L-shaped piece of cardboard that I would have glued to the vanity table top. Alternatively, if you’re finicky cropping your image, leave ½ inch of extra card stock at the bottom of the image for folding back into an L shape.
While watching other videos to see how this card is made I saw some amazing projects. For example, there was one made like a workbench for men. There was another like a student work station that also contained a chair which I imagine was made out of a single layer of cardboard. The chair had been drawn/stamped to look three dimensional! I also saw a kitchen!
Although I already knew the design I had for my dressing table, I saw other ideas like a hat on the wall instead of one of the oval mirrors – I can’t remember what was on the other wall! Another idea was a handbag hanging from one of the drawer handles. One thing that surprised me when making this card is that I liked the “wallpaper” with large designs more than the smaller designs. Funny but true!
