How are metal flakes applied?

Base preparation is essential with any custom paint job, whether you are applying this effect or any other, you should always try to work from a good base.

Depending on the type of surface, sand and apply primer or filler.

The pen we recommend is black so you can use it as a background base color.

If you had to sand the palette knife and paint a base color for the background, black would be ideal so we can see the amount of flakes we are applying.

Start by applying desired layers of Metal Flake, it can be 2 or 3 layers. Depending on how you want the result, note the amount you need in each layer.

For application, we also recommend a gun with a pitch of 1.3 to 1.5 mm

As a final protection, we recommend that you apply a UHS-resistant varnish, e.g. B. 8500 NT from Custom Creative, which gives you fast drying and excellent hardness.

Glitter in a super intense red that gives you incredible sparkles. Formulated with one of the best resins on the market – AG710 – fully crystalline and with perfect adhesion. The result will definitely be the best. We serve it ready to use for easy application in the kit along with the solvent so you have the best products for an excellent result. 500 ml flake in resin + 500 ml solvent 1 liter flake in resin + 1 liter solvent Mix 1:1 with the mixed solvent provided

Black color with Red flakes.

Wow, “B seriously”, you need to relax dude. OP I think the best you can do is just put a red bead over a black basecoat (a tri-coat: basecoat, midcoat, clearcoat). Don’t put a bead in your clear coat, and Flint Black might have a teeny tiny speck of red in it, but there’s no way you’d notice unless you knew it was there.
